Villa D'Bisma

Really enjoyed our stay here.spent 4 nights and stayed in a 1BR villa. The villa was beautiful, unique layout with open-air bottom floor (with kitchen + living area, half-bath) and fully enclosed bedroom/master bath on the upper floor. To the uninitiated, the open-air lower floor would potentially be off-putting but it totally worked for us, with minimal bugs (and no monkeys!). Not to mention the beautiful pool, day bed and outdoor shower.

What made this stay exceptional was the service. Loved how responsive the staff was to requests via WhatsApp. We highly recommend hiring a driver for site seeing. Ketut (our driver) was excellent: a very helpful tour guide, photographer, and provider of water and wet towels after especially warm sites!

This is the best place I've ever stayed. The villa was beautifully designed with every little detail clearly well thought out, from the dimming lights, to the full sliding doors, to the outdoor clothes rail, to the room diffusers. The indoor/outdoor living design was wonderful for immersing in the local environment. The pool is great for swimming lengths. The linens and bed were so comfortable. The surrounding villa complex is stunning, with lots of gardens growing vegetables. Everything was well thought out. The staff were also wonderful. Really helpful and considerate. I'd recommend using the hotel car - it comes with lovely drivers, cold water and cold flannels for a quick refresh.

There are lots of nice bars and restaurants nearby, and the hotel breakfast was wonderful - it included juice, tea, coffee, water, a starter, main and two sides. A lovely spot with great staff. A la carte as well - which is a HUGE plus in my eyes.

Overall I thought this was brilliant value (coming from the UK) for a little slice of luxury paradise.

I had an amazing stay here! The staff was incredibly friendly, and their service and hospitality were top-notch, a solid 10/10!

We had the pleasure of staying at the Bisma Eight Villas and reserved the honeymoon package. There was no better way to start our marriage than staying here!
The villas are a dream - private, beautiful, clean… also a private pool! The food was some of the best I’ve ever tasted in my life. And the staff are the real stars of the villa - everyone was so friendly and kind and went out of their way to prepare food that would suit my partner’s allergies.
The location was RIGHT next to the monkey forest, and within a decent walk away from the heart of ibid.it’s a fun walk, but if it’s too far, I also recommend using a motorbike taxi:) it’s a fun adventure.
The only downside to staying here was leaving: (it was truly a magical experience.

As somebody who critically vets every single place I go to before my holidays, I can confidently say, if you are going to Ubud, dont think twice and stay at Bisma Eight.

We arrived 3 hours late in Bali due to delayed flight from Jakarta. On top of that, when we arrived in Bali, our suitcase was missing only to find out that the airline left it in Jakarta. We had to file a report at the airport all the while, Ary, Bisma Eights' driver, was already at the pick-up point patiently waiting for us. We were giving him updates throughout the ordeal and he remained so calm and corteous. Incredibly patient!

We stayed for 5 nights at one of their villas and we had an amazing experience. Love the interiors! It is noticeable that the design is well-thought. The location is also 10/10. It's at the center and the top restaurants and shops in Ubud are just few minutes walk away. The food at their restaurant was also top. And it's great to see that they are harvestig the ingredients from their plant nursery.

The attention to detail of each staff is laso second to none. They are incredibly hospitable.

We stayed here with my boyfriend 10 days. Nice feeling of private territory, very helpful staff, not many people. Design so nice, simple and so Balinese. Great coffee! The massage at the spa at the hotel is one of the best in my life. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Bisma Eight Villas. From our unexpected upgrade upon arrival, everyone was extremely warm and welcoming. The villa itself is well designed and whilst downstairs is semi open, the bedroom and bathroom are a complete haven to retreat into after a long day of sun, or escape from the rain. The Japanese onsen is a fun touch and we enjoyed having 2 loos for the 2 of us! The food at Embers was great, lovely breakfast and lots of free activities put on by the hotel such as yoga, cookery classes and even a photoshoot session. Location of the hotel is also easy for walking around to nearby shops, restaurants and the monkey forest. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable, we will certainly be back in future!

We had the most beautiful time in Bali, the villa was absolutely great, you had all the commodities you could ask for and the private pool was simply great and the staff super friendly and kind.

Absolutely a stunning and private villa-
The room has its own pool, a coffee machine (with free milk), plentiful of drinking water provided everyday. The breakfast provided was fantastic and delicious!
Staff are friendly and rent bikes for free.
I would love to revisit!

Very bad experience.it’s right next to the monkey forest, we had monkeys visit everyday (which is ok) and monkey even came into the villa and robbed the snack box.when we called the front desk, the first thing they said was “ok we won’t charge you for mini bar” EXCUSE ME? That’s all you can say? Not about if the guest is ok, not injured/scared.then, we got food poisoning from breakfast.and guess what they asked first? “you sure it’s not allergy? Not the spice? ” NO, we had the same dish elsewhere the night before and everything was fine.all we tried to do was inform them so other guests won’t run into this.and what they tried to do was make sure it’s not their fault… even during checkout, we raised the problems, and the lady just said “your payment is received do you want your receipt” anyways, warning anyone who plans to go there.

I am having an hard time thinking of a staying that was more perfect than in one of these villas. Truly amazing experience. Everything worked well, nothing was any short of excellent, from the great food, the attentive and kind staff, the superb amenities and the stunning villas themselves. All was perfect and rarely in my over 30 years oft traveling I thought there was no point whatsoever that could be improved. If possible I would give one star mpre just for the real espresso machine in the villa and the superb coffee served at breakfast.

Bisma 8 Villas are a beautiful oasis in the midst of Ubud but what makes this hotel exceptional is the staff. They truly went above and beyond to be helpful and by the end of our stay we had become friends with a significant amount of their staff. We were traveling with our 6 month old baby and they ALL knew his name and held him for every meal so that we could enjoy our food + stay to the fullest. THANK YOU! Special shout out to Mudani:)

We can’t say enough good things about Bisma 8 and would highly recommend staying here while visiting Ubud.

I stayed at the Bisma Eight Villas and OMG what a beautiful experience it was. The villas are designed to perfection with every detail taken care of. Everything is built to offer the best possible experience. The bed, shower and bathrooms were all wonderful. I ate at the Embers Restaurant and the food was so delicious. Staff are so lovely and accommodating. The location is also central if you are wanting to explore Ubud. Love this place and I highly recommend for anyone wanting to escape to a special place.

Each villa has an open space with a living room, kitchen and WC on the ground floor having the view of a spectacular swimming pool of a significantly big size for a private pool. Very clean villa and property in general. Excellent staff willing to assist you all the time! They offer a very tasteful breakfast every morning and their restaurant was exceptional! Don’t forget to visit their spa!

Bisma Eight is amazing. The villas are new, the service is great. Can't wait to go back.

This was the best stay I’ve had in Bali by MILES, and one of the best I’ve had ever. From check-in to cleaning to food, everything worked perfectly. The hotel staff was kind and attentive but not overbearing. The design of our villa was excellent. Perhaps the shower could have drained faster, but that’s the only complaint I can scrounge.

Be aware that some reviewers might have stayed at the Bisma Eight *Hotel*, which is a different and probably not as nice property.

Villa yg termasuk murmer di daerah ubud, untuk breakfast nya lengkap dan enak, pegawai nya jg ramah², cuma pas saya nginep di sana di keterangan fasilitas ada TV tp kenyataan ga ada dan ga ada konfirmasi trs kamar yg lbh luas di pojokan kalo siang panas banget padahal AC udh hidup kyknya krn pas kena matahari, pemandangan nya masih persawahan tp ga asri² banget cuma cukup menenangkan lah ya

These villas are fabulous! Incl.your own real espresso machine in the room, a beautiful private swimming pool and each detail in these villas is breathing perfection. The staff - yet another level of perfection. Absolutely LOVED the breakfast at Embers, the food and coffee were sooo good and beautiful. They grow lots of their veggies themselves, right next to where you have your meals. If you want a beautiful stay in Ubud - stay here. They have a shuttle if you ever need transport downtown, likely you will not want to leave your villa though.

Villas Bisma Eight is the best place stay at. We stayed there for two nights and it was absolutely dreamy!
All this time we felt us like at home, and the best breakfasts here are fantastic.
I already wish of coming back here again.
