Un's Restaurant - Bali

Food was awful. All the meat was dry and chewy. We had multiple "recommended" items (lamb shank, rendang, chicken puff pastry) and they were all disappointing. This place is expensive as well. A tourist trap. >500k IDR for 3 people. Some lady at another table literally fainted.

Not sure who is reviewing this restaurant, but our napkins were dirty, food average at best, service poor, over priced and they allowed a large table of locals smoke cigarettes in the 'non smoking area' and forced 2 families to move tables rather than ask smokers to stop or move. Very poor experience.

Welcome dish was poor

The food was really good, they have a good greek salad. Unfortunately, a large cockroach crawled on my table and i had to change my fork as it touched it. It really could have been a 1 but the food service and atmosphere were really good otherwise

The place is nice and the staff is friendly.
Margarita and the garlic bread is so nice.
The other dishes are average quality.
They serve prawns plates, but the prawn is actually shrimp.
The salads are ok, nothing special.
It's quite expensive for the quality offered.

Higher prices, good food, great service. -1 star for not including tax and service charge in the prices on the menu.

Still an amazing restaurant, have been coming here for nearly 2decades and our first trip back since covid was still good. Some of our favourite dishes are off the menu but the staff are still wonderful and certainly plenty of choices.
The Margarita's are still the best in Bali!

Leckeres Essen und gute Portionen zumindest bei den indonesischen Speisen. Alle sind sehr höflich und es gibt Willkommensgrüße aus der Küche.

Great place for contemporary Bali food. A good mix of Sino-Indonesian, Western selection.
Found it easy to find. Only the alley leading to it is really narrow, filled with motorbikists zooming by.

Friendly staff. Nice ambience. Good food. Nice welcome meals and welcome drink (margarita for adult and orange juice for kids). The wet tissue is very cute

Good ambience, great attitude of staff. Food was good too just not according to an Indian palette that i am used to. And apparantly a general lack of vegetarian food in whole of Bali.

The Un's restaurant is located in Legian street, where itsn't far away from Kuta beach.you have to walk along the alley about 100 meters to get there.in front of the restaurant, the waiter come to welcome me and find me the suitable table and give me welcome drink, too.within a minute the chef gave me appetiser which is so delicious. I ordered shank and shrimp.the taste wasn't familiar for me but delicious one to try

I went there and ordered PASTAS, but they are not that type of food that we expected. Decorations inside the restaurant as well as the behavior of the stuffs were good.

One of the best meals we've had in Bali. The steak is imported from Australia and was so tender nd cooked to perfection. And the sauces on each of our meals were insane good! So flavorsome. The staff were so friendly and accomodating, especially with our kids. Will definitely make this our regular every time we visit bali. Can't recommend enough.

A place to eat steak
Steak is delicious
Cocktails using the traditional liquor Arrak are also delicious.
This house is the best.
Of the two types of steak, I personally found the other more delicious than the one that came with fries.
The vongolonaise here is truly delicious. Eating it with spaghetti is paradise.

Best lamb shank I've had thus far! Best introduction to Bali Hospitality! You know how good they are when many tables beside us are returning customers. Will definitely revisit them during my future Bali trips.

Amazing Indonesian cuisine, service is top. Tucked away from main roads of Kuta. Again thank you very much, and we definitely be back next time.
