We've stayed here for 2 weeks, and it just cant get boring. It is at the most pristine location you could imagine, Inside the jungle (with all thr pros and cons). I strongly advise you to spend at least 3 4 days here and rent a motorbike. Exploring these fabulous mountain roads is an experience in itself as well, but it has a lot more to offer. From waterfalls to temples to warungsamd what more. The scenery is absolutely unmatched by anything that a large city can offer. It is relatively close to the tourist attractions (with bike, at least).

The people in the local villages are still honest and kinde, dont want to rip you off and willing to help selflessly.
If you can, choose the bungallow instead of the tower from the accomodations, it is more spacious.

The hosts (Mr. Adii and his Cousine) are fare beyond anything you knew about a good host. Their hospitality is endless, and they are willing to bring down the stars for you if you ask them to do so. From preparing bonfire, harvesting snakefruit, making delicious dishes, they are willing to make anything for you. They also can offer unique local sights to see. (sing sing aguing or Tibu Sampi waterfalls, ricefields etc.) I strongly recommend that if you stay here, to try out - beside the splendid breakfasts - mr. Adii's dinner. He is a really good chef, and flabbergastingly cheap. (The hot chocholate is a must have).

Altough not all rainbows and sunshine, since you are literally in the jungle, dont expect 5 star hotel comfort. The nights are Cold up there on the slope of Batukaru.really cold, and there is not much insulation at the bungallows, so you will feel cold.
Sometimes you can run out of hot water if you take too long of a shower, and the water has a lets say unique smell.
Sometimes you get a gekko as a roommate, but they live on the wooden beams of the roof, and harmless. Moreover, they catch flies, so we were more than haply to have them. Just saying, that you should expect wildlife, since you are in the jungle.

All in all, i Strongly recommend this accomodation, you will not be dissappointed.

Spend 2 nights there, on Woden house, August 2023, great landscape and very quiet environment very appreciated, a nice pool for refreshing after trekking on morning as many interesting places around to be exploring ……do not forget very nice welcoming from owner, staffs at the hotel or around caring you all the staying, making simple food but very good and breakfast as well so it was very nice experience to back on nature world for few days Patrick

Wanted to do some hiking in Bali so booked this hotel for a couple of nights as it is right near a hike I wanted to do. Location of the hotel is fantastic, you wake up to the sound of the jungle every morning and the views are stunning. The staff there are also amazing, they will do whatever they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to get off the beaten track a little and recharge

Incredible experience staying at Umah Legenda! Both the tower house and the bungalows are cosy to stay in, well maintained, clean and quiet. Adi, who takes care of housekeeping, goes above and beyond in terms of friendliness and fulfilling our requests. Such a great guy! He prepared us a bonfire two times and makes really delicious breakfast. We will definitely come back to this amazing spot!

We spent two nights here after Nyepi, and it was a delightful extension of the holiday. The drive up on a motorcycles was spectacular with sweeping vistas of rice fields, Denpasar, and the ocean as a backdrop. We stayed in the tower lodge. This was a private house recently converted for public use, so there are a few glitches on this work-in-progress; however, we loved it and will definitely return. HIGH RECOMMENDED. The private heart shaped pool is tre-romantico, and the stars at night are big and bright. Adi and Kadek were a blast to hang with, fixed us breakfast and many request for coffee. Great guys. We had an awesome dinner at Sarinbuana down the road (get the salak crumble) and a terrible meal at the overpriced Alassari. Batukaru is fantastic, and should not be missed in your Bali excursions.

Rented a tower, it's an excellent and unique place!
The territory is private, you can admire the excellent landscape from the roof, there is a beautiful illuminated swimming pool.

The service is amazing! Very hospitable and friendly, cook delicious food and help with all amenities.

Check-in and check-out times are flexible, which is very convenient.

There is a massage, in addition, they can make an excursion to the mountain nearby.

Thank you for a great time, I will definitely come here again!

Pemandangannya indah, sejuk dan bersih ada kebun salak nya. Penjaga sangat ramah dan sopan

Pemandangan asri dengan view gunung dan hutan yang masih alami. Suasana sejuk dan taman yang indah. Meski lokasi berada di pedalaman namun akan terbayar dengan suasana di sini. Kolam renang cuku bersih dan terawat. Suatu saat akan kembali lagi ke sini untuk berlibur

Suasana yang cocok buat liburan, pemandangannya juga indah. Pokoknya next time datang lagi?

Berlibur dan berenang serasa di villa sendiri, pemandangan asli pegunungan dan laut.makanan dengan harga merakyat, tersedia kamar ganti dengan air panas.

View bagus, tapi perlu dikelola dengan baik, air kolam harus mengalir agar tetap bersih, perlu tempat ganti baju di dekat kolam
