Highly recommended for solo travelers. The price is cheap and it is close to Sanur Port to get to Nusa Penida, so you can walk there. Yani is the landlord, and he was very kind and provided a lot of information, so I enjoyed the entire trip. It was a perfect stay
It was a perfect stay, especially since it was close to Sanur Port, it was the best stay for going to Nusa Penida.yani was friendly and very helpful during my stay. Dogs also follow people well and are cute. I would like to thank the staff who helped me rest comfortably for 3 days.

I cannot recommend staying here highly enough! The rooms are clean and comfortable with good beds, the AC is strong and kept the room cool, and the hostel is in a great location, quiet but a quick walk to the beach and busier town area. There is a shared kitchen area with tea and coffee and drinkable water. Most notably, the host (Yani) is unbelievably kind, welcoming, and helpful. She gave us recommendations of where to eat, offered to arrange a pick up from the airport, helped arrange our ferry ride and drove us to the ferry port, and even gave us her number in case we had any questions or needed help in the future. She was just the person we needed as a couple of young, inexperienced travelers. She also has several sweet, friendly dogs who you can play with if you like dogs. I would definitely stay again!

Yani (the hostess) is the sweetest, and most helpful person you could ever hope to meet along your travels. Along with her pack of very cute dogs she gave us a warm welcome and then helped us figure out our ferry and even booked it for us. The rooms are simple and clean, and there’s Wi-Fi and AC which is all we needed for a nice stay. Can’t recommended enough.

Great place to stay for travelling around Sanur or Nusa Penida, located very close to Sanur Harbour, only 5 minutes walk.

Bu Yani is really an outstanding host.making the stay feels so homey, super friendly and helpful for any kind of your needs.

A very clean and cold room is guaranteed. Tea, Coffee and snacks are available and you can use the shared kitchens. Definitely worth the experience.

Still expanding room numbers and definitely can't wait for the future stay in the new room.

The host is adorable, I have a foot injury, she took care of me, and she even took my boyfriend to the hairdresser. She is really adorable!

Impeccable location, clean and comfortable room, close to the main road, pier and beach. The host family is very friendly. The host is more like a kind sister, helping the guests as much as possible, and even gave us free use of their motorcycles.car. My sister is very talkative and speaks good English. The second floor is being renovated and the router needs to be replaced. I believe everything will be better in the near future. I will definitely come back here again when I leave Bali. The dogs at home are also very friendly and cute, and they can also howl.

Very cheap with reasonable things to offer.

The property is close to the main road. My room was spacious and clean. The AC and hot water was running well. They provided a soap bar and toilet paper. There was a TV in my room, but I couldn't turn it on. The tap water wasn't drinkable but the host provided free flow water at the kitchen. For breakfast, they have self-service instant cofee and guests can take some chocolate and biscuits. There is a pool, but it was undermaintenance. The host was really friendly. My two cents, better to check in during the day if you are a first timer in the area. Only this property has lights but the rest of neighborhood is dark.

Pokoknya kalau ke Sanur pasti ke sini lagi. Kamarnya bersih, nyaman, fasilitas lengkap (ada dapur bersama dan cemilan yang disediakan). Lokasi sangat dekat dengan pelabuhan dan pantai matahari terbit Sanur. Host juga sangat baik + helpful kepada para tamu. Thank you Mbak Yani!

If you want to book a nice place to stay before heading off to Penida or Lembongan. Book this accommodation, the host is amazing. She offered me to use her motorcycle and she even sent my luggages to where our location was. The pool is not really in use anymore when I was there. They need some refurbishing of the property but overall the rooms were big and the accommodation is great.

A great convenient place to stay very close to Sanur Harbour, less than 10mins walk away (be careful crossing the busy road). The owners are very kind, our room was big, comfortable and clean, the shower was hot and A/C was good. They have a cute beagel called Dylan. The area is quiet aswell.

Very near to the Sanur Port. It's a great place if you want to visit Nusa Penida! The host were very friendly and helpful, you can ask any informations. The hostel is pet friendly too. The room is clean and very affordable. Absolutely, will stay in Umah Bagus again.

Nice owner, even offered us to use their motorcycle and gave us tips for trip, fast respon, strategic location.
Nice bed, big clean room, air conditioner and hot water worked just fine. But the snozzle was broken that time. Overall is worth the price

I'm not sure why this place has so many good reviews. There's not even any water in the pool.the whole place is run down. Paint flaking off the wall etc. I guess as they say you get what you pay for but the reviews and the pictures definately do not accurately portray the reality of this place and is very misleading. It's very hard to cross the main highway but after that only 10 minutes walk to the beach which is only good thing and the owner is nice and easy to contact through wassap. Would not recommended or stay again but it isn't THAT bad for just sleeping in. The AC worked at least ;)

Great place if you need a place to stay the night before a flight really close to the airport.
The rooms are really nice and modern, tv ac and so on.but they could be cleaner, bed sheets had some stains and there was a used fork under the bed and a bit of dirt.pool is empty wich they don’t say on any booking site I checked.
The owner is super nice and welcoming but a bit hard to find.

My husband and I stayed here for a couple nights when we first arrived to the island. The room was nice and clean, plus the owners, Yani & Agus, were super kind and helpful. Great way to arrive in Bali (: Also, if you're coming from the airport, be sure to ask about the transfer - they offer a great rate!

Stayed here for the night. Close to everything. Petrol station, atms, massage and beach.

The host is awesome.

The vibe is family and chill.

They have 11 dogs so it can get noisey sometimes.
