Uluwatu Lumbung Cottages

The best/most beautiful place to stay on our 3 week trip through Bali. The host Khaled, a Swiss who speaks several languages ​​ (e.g. English, French, German) was extremely nice, very warm and helpful. The whole area was very well maintained. It was also wonderfully quiet, just idyllic. We felt really comfortable here from the first moment. Our cottage was very clean and cozy with a nice terrace (balcony), the bathroom was very large and the bed super comfortable. We also had the best breakfast on our trip here, everything was fresh and prepared with love. We were absolutely delighted and can warmly recommend this accommodation.

They are individual houses, they are very good, they are very large. There is a swimming pool. It is worth noting how friendly the people are. We stayed two nights with breakfast for €139. Very rich breakfast. Cleanliness a 10.

We stayed 3 nights at the Uluwatu Lumbung Cottage. The room was beautiful, super clean and perfectly equipped (fridge, aircon, wifi and safe). Staff and breakfast are also great. Try the traditional indonesian one!

These are the most beautiful bungalows I’ve ever seen. Totally cozy and nicely furnished with lots of love and passion. Very clean and the owner is a very gentle person who served as good food at midnight after a long long flight. Thanks again

We LOVED the Lumbung Cottages. The rooms were so lovely and unique decorated. - Big bathroom, very comfortable bed, nice porch, lovely jungle vibe on the property.
The service was more than friendly, we felt extremely welcomed and were happy to find such a paradise in uluwatu! Can only recommend:)

The bugalowns are a dream, very beautiful and clean, the outside space is fantastic. The pool is very good and clean.

The most beautiful accommodation that I have had in Bali so far. The owner always helps and fulfills all wishes. Very clean, super breakfast, beautiful pool, familiar and very quiet. Dinner cooked from his lovely wife can also be ordered. It tastes great. The cleanest bed with the most comfortable mattress. For me a boutique hotel of the highest class. There is not a single point of criticism and I can recommend the accommodation to everyone. Near to the best beaches of Uluwatu.

Khalid and the team were absolutely lovely! We thoroughly enjoyed our stayed. They took treated us like family and it was an absolute pleasure to stay there. Very quiet and still close to everything! I will be back!

We had a great stay! The cottage was really clean and cozy, the staff is also super friendly and helpful. Arranged us a scooter with the delivery to the hotel for the same price as everywhere, so it is really convenient! The breakfast was nice, they had several options, however it took minimum 30min every morning to prepare food. Among that, everything was perfect and we would come back for sure

Very nice place to stay in uluwatu. Has only 6 units, so its very calm and peaceful. Had a nice pool too.

This has to be the cleanest cottage that we ever stayed in Bali! It’s located on a quiet side of Uluwatu away from the busy streets yet not too far from everything (just ask them to arrange for bike rental) It’s a perfect place to chillax! Bed is comfortable. Water pressure is ok but inconsistent of hot and cold. We didn’t get to use the pool cuz it’s too cold (July is windy and cold at times especially at night!). The sewage smell was a bit turn off after first night. They also serve simple breakfast and we are not complaining for that price! Oh and there’s a cute Shih Tzu that will come running to greet you!

Bei Ankunft wurde uns leider gesagt, dass es keinen Scooter mehr vor Ort gibt. Dies konnte aber unser Staff sofort klären und brachte uns am nächsten Tag einen Scooter.
Unser Zimmer war sauber und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.
Der Hauseigenepool war super für das entspannen am Abend!
Unser Frühstück gibt einfach nur - klein, aber fein!

The most beautiful little Indonesian cottages! Very peaceful and tranquil! The rooms are very clean and gorgeous inside, especially the bathroom we loved. The staff don’t speak much English so it was hard to communicate but they did there best and we appreciated the effort. Breakfast every morning was delicious. The only down side is there is no lunch or dinner so you need to venture out to get food, the menu in the room said they have drinks and snacks but they didn’t.

First accommodation in Bali, nice and cosy place, good smelling towels, and a very good mattress to recover from the long flight. Coffee is a bit different but taste good too.

Lovely stay at this place! We had the Himalaya villa. It was perfect in size, cleaned everyday and big bathroom with good shower pressure and complimentary water to brush teeth everyday. Breakfast was nice and plenty of variations. Great location, private and peaceful but close to the one road that takes you all around uluwatu/Padang. Staff were really sweet and helpful. Bike was convenient to hire and reliable, although a little overpriced. Pool was relaxing, but do keep in mind the chlorine and blonde hair makes for a green tint. Would 100% stay again!
