34Tiwi was an amazing teacher! An amazing class - I made the most amazing 4 products which I was allowed to take in 100ml bottles so I could take them on my flight highly recommend!
The salesperson claimed that the products were hand-made using traditional methods, and there was even a workshop in the store where customers could make their own sesame oils.
Regardless of whether the salesperson is telling the truth, their products are indeed cheap and high-quality, so I recommend them to everyone.
Highly recommended! The cosmetic workshop is real. Tiwi (employee) is super nice and can speak English very well. There were only two of us on the rice field tour with her, so it was basically a private tour where you learned a lot about the plants of Bali and their healing powers. There was also a fresh coconut: D
Super nice employee. Great course with cosmetics, you get the recipes for the things via PDF or via photography. The combined tour is highly recommended when it's cooler or cloudy, but it's also good when it's sunny (coconut palm trees are partly laid out like an avenue). On the rice field tour you learn a lot about the local plants and their effects. Very exciting and great!
I did the workshop with my girlfriend and we had a great time making our own products. Great activity for couples to do while in Ubud.
This was a really lovely activity whilst in Ubud. I loved learning about the different ingredients for each product and selecting the different scents for each of them
We took the workshop and we had a lot of fun. We end up with 4 products which is really good.
She was very descriptive which added more to the experience.
The lady was kind enough to suggest us places to eat nearby which turned to be awesome as well.
Love this place! The host is very nice and helpful with super cheap price! If you have free hours in ubud and want to find new thing to do, I recommend!
This was an incredible experience. Thank you to Dewi and her crew for an amazing morning. Their knowledge and hospitality are second to none. We loved the products and the experience. Do yourself a favour and book the Combined Tour, absolutely worth it.
We came to this place with our family and it was a new experience for me and especially my daughter to learn about plants. She was very happy to learn and to make products from natural ingredients. The most important thing for us ist is that all the ingredients used are very easy to find around our garden, so the kids can make them again when we return home.
We liked their products also very much, especially the essential oils. We bought some essential oils, my favourite one is frangipani. They have a lot of essential oils in their store.
We were told you can order bigger sizes as well, and they deliver to other countries.
We felt happy to spend our time at Ubud Botany Interactive, the UBI Team is very nice.
Had an amazing education into local culture and fresh products that make skin care fun again
Shampoo, scrub, sunscreen and boreh. Boreh is a healing scrub we made and we actually placed this onto my back where I had a twinge from riding. It heats and works it’s way into your skin. Twinge is gone and never come back amazing. Great for sinus and cold ext as you place it on and sleep with it on your skin working through the night
So pleased to find a workshop that was easy to do and very cost effective at app $35 Aus it’s well worth checking out. I’ll be back to do a coconut oil work shop or botanical walk to find all the great plants that are used in the products
The workshop botanical product was an amazing experience! It was so interesting to make my own natural product, so close to balinese traditions.
Dewi and Tiwi were so nice and answered all my questions!
Had a great afternoon and produced our own handmade cosmetics and a tour to Ubud rice fields. Good initiative which we have been happy to support
Essential oils sold here were different from the samples. Those are not real. I bought Frangipani but when I opened, it smelled like a teatree. Best to avoid.
Had a really fun time learning how to make our own beauty products from scratch.
We were able to bring our own products back home too.
The place was clean and comfy, and the staff were helpful.
PS: Debit card was accepted there.
WOW. I just did organic skin care product workshop - this was such a fun and informative workshop and the products you end up with are amazing (having tried the mask as I was making it). Dewi is knowledgeable from both traditional and scientifically perspective. Using recycled jars for her products Dewi is partnering with her home village to source raw materials as the village is too far from tourist circuit for an
Dewi has an amazing amount of botanical knowledge it was great to learn from her. I also brought some lovely lotus oil home. Recommend. Some lovely vendors down the street that treated me like a princess. Easy walk from monkey forest.
I did the Coconut Oil and the Botanical Products workshop and I enjoy it a lot. The team is super nice, they explain you all the details with love and give you alternative to make all the products again in your hometown if you live abroad. It's easy and fun and you will take home 4 super natural and organic products absolutely handmade! I am looking forward to do more products next time!
Fantastic experience at Ubud Botany Interactive making Shampoo, sun screen lotion, face mask and body scrub and healing lotion from natural products.
Don't miss this when in Ubud. Dewi and her team are incredibly nice and highly competent. The trip through the rice fields includes leaning how to climb a coconut tree (not as easy as the professionals make it look) and a lot about Balinese herbs, agriculture, religion and much more. Also the products are great and support the local community. The quiet, rural Bali is just around the corner from the noisy Ubud center and the best way to explore and enjoy it is with Ubud Botany Interactive.
