Ubad Retreat

Ubad Retreat has a sign that says, "dispose all expectations here. " This awesome spot Exceeded my expectations. Comfy, clean, polished and extremely kind and generous. I loved my twin room w the round tub amd balcony. Perfect. There is a Ubad family taxi/driver service on site. 2 pools. Will come here again!

One of the nicest ladys i‘ve met in Indonesia greeted us with a homemade icetea and cared so much for our well being afterwards.everything else was also perfect

Happy, kind, amazing and helpful staff. Helped us rent a scooter and always made sure we were safe. No problem with communication! The place is clean and beautiful. The breakfast is so good and the location is just 10min drive from the streets with food restaurant’s, bars and shopping! We are very happy with our stay, hope to see you again! One of the best place to stay in Ubud. The resort is small but very clean and beautiful. They have 2 swimming pool which is open till 10 pm and the hospitality is very much appreciated. Special thanks to staff as they arranged a birthday cake at midnight for me and they were very polite and very helping. They helped us with bike rentals and bikes are new and in good condition. Overall a very sweet place to stay. We stayed here for 4 days and had continental breakfast as we were vegetarian very limited option here. Thumbs up for location. Vegetarian can have breakfast in Ubud center in Queens a nice Indian restaurant.

A friendly place where you feel relaxed and very well received by the team. The staff makes sure that we feel as good as possible. The dishes in the restaurant are very good. The room was clean and very pretty. A shuttle is available several times a day to make the round trip to the center of Ubud (10min by car, 45min on foot). We can only advise to stay at Ubad retreat.

Location was not far but walking to Ubud not convinent. If you are afraid to see think again. Everything was good.

My first preference of holiday stay when visiting Bali. Beautiful well kept accomdation in Ubad always welcoming friendly staff.

From the first time we arrived we were greeted by Rian with a Balinese warm welcome. This was around midnight we were hungry and found out the whole of Bali had shut down for 24hrs Nyepi, Balinese New Year Celebration. Even though the kitchen has closed they happily made us something to eat. Our room were absolutely beautiful right next to the the pool surrounded by well kept beautiful gardens. The staff were very helpful and attentive, we were well looked after. We are already planning our next trip back to this beautiful Retreat. Thank you Rian and all the staff for the 10 wonderful days we spend with you.see you in 2024

Ubad Retreat is beautiful and tranquil, but the best part is Gus and his team - including people like Sri - who really go above and beyond to take care of all the guests and ensure they get an authentic Balinese experience. The Balinese breakfast is also delicious, I highly recommend staying here:)

I loved my stay at Ubad Retreat. It’s a beautiful authentic Balinese retreat which has two gorgeous swimming pools not to mention my bedroom which was spacious and very comfortable and quiet. The staff members are very friendly and accommodating. It’s 15min drive to Ubud centre but they offer free shuttles at given times. They also offer day trips to rice fields, temples and waterfalls, it’s worth a try.

My stay at Ubad Retreat was amazing. This villa is family owned and super welcoming. I resided at this villa for 2 weeks and If I come back to visit Ubud, I would stay here again. Out of all the places that I stayed at in Bali, this place is the most welcoming and I honestly felt like I was at home.

Finding this place was a serendipity. They have a 9.3 rating on booking.com - I found their website and made the booking. I stayed here for 5 days and it was nothing short of spectacular. The place is run by a local Balinese family - Rian and Gus with the rest of their family members.

Rooms are clean perfect sized for a couple. Depends on the room you book of course. I reached here after a night of traveling. Arrived here a few hours prior to my checkin time and they were happy to accommodate me to let me catch up on my sleep. Such simple touches go a long way in customer service.

Family is extremely caring and always keep a look out for your needs. There’s two well
Maintained pools. Makes for a perfect afternoon swim, baking in the sun amidst lush green bushes. Food is decent - not the best, but the accessibility to market compensates for what they can’t offer from their kitchen.

11: 11 Bar is nice with good cocktails, the location is good - 10mins bike from main market. I rented my bike from them too directly at a nominal rate. The property is GREEN.and we’ll maintained.

All in all if you’re looking for a home away from home setup - in Bali Ubud. This is your place.

The staff was excellent and without a doubt the best part of the hotel. They are very considerate, clean the room if you'd like and greet you everyday.

I stayed there with my mom for a few weeks and got to know the staff like family. They even came to give us an umbrella when we weree walking in the rain!
