The Village Cucina Italiana

Our go to Italian when in Sanur, never disappoints. Staff are attentive, food superb and a very extensive wine list. We will return again and again. Fantastic atmosphere.

Dined here last night, husband excited to tasting the lobster but told no lobster, okay disappointed but hey let’s move on. Ordered calamari and prawns for starter, looked amazing g but the calamari was so chewy I asked the waitress was it frozen and she replied yes and then proceeded to ask was there a problem with that well I would assume such a high class restaurant would at least have fresh calamari not frozen out of a bag, mains was okay but needless to say will not be returning

I had the seafood pasta and it was shocking. The seafood tasted old and precooked. The sauce was gluggy and the pasta was so undercooked. It was not only a disappointment but I felt nauseous afterwards. My partner was also unimpressed with her chicken dish. Such a shame as the service and ambiance were excellent. I believe the pizzas are excellent, probably because freshly made.

Both the inside and outside of the store have a high-class atmosphere, and the customers are calm. All pizzas are over 130, but they were freshly baked and delicious.
The water is also a high-end bottle specification, but they prepared glasses and ice for free for the plastic bottles I brought in.

What an absolute delight! The Service was so polite and attentive. We did enjoy the Pizzas and Drinks very much. Thank you

THE BEST food I've had in ages! My parents shared a lobster between themselves and I got the spinich and ricotta ravioli and omg it was perfect The food just melted in my mouth.

Probably the best Italian restaurant in Bali.
We ended up dining here or ordering take away several times during our stay in Sanur.
The ambience is calm with live dinner music and the staff are beyond helpful.

This place practice discrimination towards local. I have been their customer since mid 2000s. When Covid hits, I generously support them before they close for operation.

Today, we ordered Salad and Oysters for appetizer. I guess they had to visit a farm far away from Sanur to make the Salad, it took 1 hour (maybe more if I didn’t complain about it). And maybe their staff dove into the ocean to get 3 oysters.

I asked balsamic vinegar for the complimentary bread, asked 3 TIMES, they didn’t provide.

Meanwhile other foreign customer gets their food in seconds.

Shame on this restaurant, if you are Indonesians, just don’t come at all. You will be discriminated.

For the cherry on too, when we asked for the bill, it comes in 30 seconds. Whats a disgrace.

Shame on you the Village, you should put a sign “we only serve and be kind to foreigners”.

Loved the seafood pizza the oysters and the fried seafood, Italian wine worth the price for Bali market. Service attenti e and kind.

This outstanding restaurant in the heart of Sanur has it all. Soothing ambience, amazing food and wine and lovely staff, led by the exceptional Darsana. As we left we booked again!

Several food and pizza that I try is quite tasty, but the service isn't good enough, just like serve the main course before the appetiser, and took little bit long for the food serve and several was left behind for serve.

Elegant ambience with professional and friendly service. Food was great, wine was great and the in-house pianist added another level of enjoyment

Restoran fine dinning berkapasitas 200 kursi ini menghidangkan beragam menu khas Italia. Antipasto Misto sangat pas sebagai hidangan pembuka, berisi calamata olive, bruschetta romana, fresh salami dan lain-lain.

Kalau Pizza harus pesan, Quattro Staggioni, dengan empat macam toping yakni ham, jamur kancing, artichoke serta black olive. Masih ada Calzone dan Ravioli yang juga menggiurkan.

Koleksi wine yang dimiliki The Village tersimpan dengan baik pada wine cellar. Spesial bagi pengunjung yang ingin menikmati aneka wine import

Food was good.service was not upto the mark. Very slow and un organized. Been coming here for years but we will think more then twice to come again next time

Great pasta, ambience unfortunately i ordered a seared scallops and it’s not seared at all, can only taste salt maybe a bit too tough to eat.

One of my favorite italian restaurants in Sanur. Food is amazing, staffs are great, perfectly located by the main street in Sanur.

Certainly one of my mates and I's favourite restaurants in Bali. Authentic and delicious Italian food, matching the quality I've had in Europe, with great service. No matter where we stay next time in Bali, a trip to Sanur for dinner at The Village will be on the list.
