The Ubud Village Resort & Spa

Absolutely worth 5 stars, a beautiful oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Ubud. The breakfast is one of the best we've ever had anywhere, absolutely top. All recommended without reservation!

A beautiful resort just outside of Ubud centre. Excellent villas with private pools. Staff were friendly and attentive and the food in the restaurant was wonderful. Outside of the resort the roads and traffic weren't great but it was only a 15-20 minute walk into ubud, which most of the time was quicker that going by car. Highly recommended for total relaxation and comfort.

My stay at the Ubud village was just amazing, if I could I would have gave them a 5+. The staff is just so nice and very smiley. Which makes such a difference. I also had a massage and it was exceptional. The location is 15 to 20 minutes walk to town which we enjoyed doing, but a free bus ride s also available.

We traveled as a family (I kid 4y) and stayed for 3 nights. Very kind and nice staff, lovely. Overwhelming breakfast, enjoyed the silence. Had a very nice bungalow with private pool. Next time we have to stay longer! Go there and check out by yourself!

Had an amazing stay in their villa. The property is luxurious and perfect for laid-back vacation.
Though it is pretty much close to many of the places you may have in your checklist, never underestimate Ubud's traffic. A mere 3 kms can sometime take more than 30 mins!
Couple of observations that can enhance the experience -
1. No breakfast buffet. They have a fixed menu. Though tasty, it gets boring if you are staying for more than 3 nights. Slow breakfast service kills your morning hours which otherwise you could have used to start early for sightseeing.
2. Swipe keys / Magnetic swipe cards would have been better rather than a huge key which is quite impractical to carry around.

Every meal was absolutely delicious from breakfast to high tea to evening dinner.
Simply faultless throughout our stay and I would highly recommend.

It's a real Ubud interpretation. Calm village atmosphere on a natural landscape, located near central. Walking distance to many interests and highly rated restaurants. The villa set up is perfect for honeymooner. Breakfast is soo good, better than my expectation.

Very calm place to stay out of the Bali crazyness. Beautiful surrounding and nice rooms. Staff were always very kind and helpful. There are different activities to do (Trekking, yoga, etc.) as well shuttle bus to their other hotel closer to the Monkey Forest.

This place is absolutely amazing! I plan to write a much longer review but just wanted to say, BOOK HERE! The staff are so thoughtful and kind and even at full capacity it is quiet and peaceful. Karang, our driver, made everything very special for us and we felt so welcome and taken care of. After leaving we actually returned 2 days later because the other hotel we went to did not live up to UVR. Hope to be back there asap!

Beautiful, tranquil location.
Complimentary afternoon tea was great, with some really nice things to sample.
Breakfast was nice.
Service was outstanding and deserving of the 5 star rating.

Amazing service, food and drink.
The staff are incredibly friendly and always looking to help.
They have a great spa and a really quiet chilled out infinity pool.
Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Bali

Beautiful traditional resort. Excellent service and facilities. Villa's surrounded by foliage so expect leaves etc in your pool but don't confuse that with it being unclean. Staff could not do enough and joined us for a late drink one evening which we thoroughly enjoyed. Food was superb and acoustic entertainment and traditional balinese dancing added to the restaurant experience. The main pool area is beautiful.

Wonderful place, We had a Garden Villa with Pool, Room is bali style, it was huge,
very close to downtown to many restaurants and bar.
Nice breakfast, including afternoon tea.
People are so friendly.
Highly recommended.

Nice and Relaxing hotel. Also there is nice Tex-Mex Restaurant close by called Cilantro Ubud. Must try it!

The Ubud Village Resort is absolutely stunning. Where do I begin?

Our private room with small yard, pool, day bed, outdoor shower and bathtub, as well as 3 meals a day, were the best way to start our Bali visit. We stayed for 4 nights in April 2022 (just after the borders opened again).

The staff are all so friendly and helpful, the service is impeccable, the food in the restaurant delicious, and the massage was so relaxing.

The wifi connection was a bit patchy, but there are lots of cafés in Ubud with wifi. Overall, we 100% recommend this place and look forward to coming back again in the future.

As a side note, the place and staff are very LGBTQ+ friendly.

The villas close to the street are very noisy, simply because the doors/windows don’t close properly. We have asked to change rooms, which wasn’t a problem. The whole complex is a bit run-down, maybe because it hasn’t be used for almost 2 years. However, the staff is very friendly and attentive.

The Ubud Village Resort and Spa, merupakan salah satu tempat untuk Spa dan istirahat. Tempatnya lumayan enak dan nyaman untuk penjunjung. Pelayanannya cukup baik dan ramah ramah.
