The Sandwich Bar Ubud

Ordered 2 english breakfasts for delivery from here, potato roasties missing from both breakfasts. (We only ordered from here as they had potato roasties/hash browns) We asked if we could swap the tomatoes & mushrooms from both breakfasts for extra beans but only 1 breakfast had extra beans & both had mushrooms. When the delivery driver delivered the food he essentially demanded we tip him as it was a ‘long’ journey (although paying a delivery charge) & basically tried to guilt trip us by saying he has no food to eat today… We usually tip everyone anyway but this just left us quite shocked & I felt guilty to eat my food… Wouldnt recommend at all!

Came here because it had good reviews. Got the ultimate toastie. In no way was it as described. Description said 3 cheeses melted but was basically a small bit of mozzarella and ham with carmelised onions. Disappointed as it wasn't even toasted fully!

The place is not so crowded and the hamburger was amazing we really like it. Not to mention homemade french fries.

The best sandwich I've eaten recently. The stuff is very polite and friendly. Salmon sandwich worth trying

Coffee was good, we had the toastie and was very good and big enough

Dry ciabatta with tasteless slices of avocado, green tomatoes and a couple chops of steamed chicken. Spicy mayo sauce and kinda ciabatta is the only things I’ve tasted.

As a German you know, there is a huge difference between good bread and Asian bread. But at the sandwich bar Ubud it's really nice.

I can highly recommend the tuna melt sandwich. It's very delicious!

The stuff is very nice and friendly and you will get a free bottle of water, when you take your seat. They also fill the bottle up, when it's empty. All for free.

The prices are good and the food is delicious. Will come back!

Best sour dough I've ever tasted. Best chips! Omelette is excellent. Burgers are delicious! Dinner and breakfast.coffee is very very good. Espresso martini is nice too.

Amazing croissants, however fresh orange juice more like lemon juice and chicken avocado sandwich is way too spicy for not being marked as ‘spicy’. Overrated

Amaazing food! The whole experience from start to finish is great waitress is always so friendly and kind. Can totally recommend it and will definitely come back again

Sandwich was fine but on the small side. 5 EUR incl tax is kind of a ridiculous price for that.

My kids love the burger. The corn ribs is excellent. But the piccolo portion is too small. Overall the place has good taste of food and a nice place to hangout.

I was looking for a quality sandwich to taste like home (USA) and this was just what I needed! The Chicken Avocado Sandwich was delicious and the ciabatta bread was the perfect texture. Free drinking water! And they didn't charge a ton extra for using a credit card fee. SO glad I went, would HIGHLY recommend!

Food is not good and had food poison after having dinner from here. The sandwich is the worst here.

Good food and a good selection of vegan options. The caesar salad and dirty burger were fantastic. Took off a star as they failed to communicate that what I ordered wasn't available and proceeded to serve me something random as a replacement.

If you are jackpot you might see something weird around from them
Messy and loud
But this is Ubud

The place is good
There is air con room and out door
Coffee is ok breakfast is ok

Absolutely loved this place, always looking for a good sandwich and finally found the perfect place. Have been a few times and loved the grilled cheese and coffee is good too. Friendly staff and great atmosphere

The sweet pie is too sweet. Get something with sourdough! The vegan Turkish bun is not as good as it sounds.
