The Porch Cafe

This venue always used to be amazing and my earlier reviews reflected that appraisal.

Unfortunately, over the past 12 - 18 months, the standard has dropped. On 3 separate occasions we visited, hoping the previous lack luster presentations were simple "one off" examples. Sadly no so!

The food portions are smaller and many of the ingredients that enhanced the product have now been omitted.

While all appreciate costs have risen worldwide, this venue has opted to reduce the product instead of raising the price. In my opinion, a mistake. There was a reason so many customers returned and it was the great meals served.

The management needs to quickly reassess their strategy.

Visited this place during the morning for breakfast. We had a table outside but didn't have any waiter visit us or nearby tables for 15 minutes, after which we decided to leave.

We love The Porch Cafe for breakfast, lunch or brunch. Their food is excellent and the ladies there are lovely. They have seating outside or indoors with AC.

Very nice cute and cozy place. They prepared the meals very fast. The portions are huge. They have awesome fresh natural orange juices and nice banana smoothies. Absolutely recommend that place!

A refreshing taste of nostalgia.feels like old bali of that makes sense haha. The ladies running the place are very casual and friendly. Great little veranda to sip a cold beer and watch the world go by

We visit The Porch every year on multiple occasions. The food is fresh, consistent and delicious. My personal favourite is the Bon’s Hash Stack, with mounds of bacon, egg, tomato, hash brown, mushrooms, avocado, asparagus, creamy aioli, and rocket on a bed of freshly baked, hot buttered ciabatta. Their coffee is the best we’ve had in Bali, and a great accompaniment to their fresh scones, jam and cream. The always-smiling, friendly ladies here are really the icing on the cake. Always a pleasure, thank you.

A cute little restaurant run by 2 very energetic, very friendly women. The food was appreciated by all and they were very sweet and patient with our cranky 4 year old. The meat pie was a standout for me. Must visit when in the Sanur area it's a few shops away from Uluwatu lace.

Nice cafe for breakfast. Have a wide selections, from sandwich, salads, cake etc. Have a room with aircon, u can choose to have breakfast outside too. I ordered carrot cake, Ice Tea, sandwich with smoked Marlin. They run out turkeys. But its okay!

Excellent coffee and breakfast on a lovely, relaxing verandah and courtyard, the calm spoiled only by the digital nomads yelling into their AirPods and the aging shirtless surf dudes.

My favorite post workout brunch place. 5 stars for service as the ladies that run the place are lovely and go out of their way to keep us happy:)

Food was surprisingly good and staff were very friendly. It does seem like a dark Cafe, but definitely worthwhile checking out.

A great place for brekky or lunch. We always visit in Sanur and are never disappointed. Veggie breakfast is amazing.

Friendly staff and good service. Nice chicken and turkey sandwiches for brunch when you're not yet in the mood for Asian food. Best atmosphere when sitting on the porch and looking out over the small garden

You couldn't find a better deal than their package including breakfast, coffee and fresh juice.

Great selection of foods. We had a chicken salad and a randang pie. Smoothies were well made. Nice staff! Recommended

Thoroughly enjoyed our meals for lunch. Attentive staff. Fast delivery of food. Clean the establishment with good service. Dropped a star because of the road noise.

Great service and good food. A decent selection of choices. The prices were average for around this tourist strip. More of a place for tourists and their cravings for sweet breakfast foods, not a place for local cuisine.
