The Menjangan

This hotel is located in West Bali National Park, so it is a place where you can have a special experience with nature and various animals and plants.
When you open the door, you can see a family of monkeys eating, and a family of deer we met on an early morning walk are grazing grass or leisurely walking around the beach.

You can also experience various activities, and I definitely recommend the snorkeling tour at Menjangan Island if the weather is nice. You can fully enjoy the well-protected coral and various fish species just by snorkeling.

Since it is a raw, natural place, bugs and ants inevitably wander around the rooms. Mosquito repellent and insect repellent are provided in the room, so we recommend using them.

You can order a variety of foods at the hotel. However, since it does not contain MSG, it is healthy and tastes may vary depending on individual taste. Please prepare light snacks and other food in advance.

It may be a bit uncomfortable for families with young children, but I think it is worth the slight inconvenience as it is a place where you can experience the rawness of nature.

It is perfect for a honeymoon for adventurers and people who want peace and nature. The services are very good and the trekking and snorkeling activities are essential.

Such warm, kind and genuine service from each of the staff, had made our stay such a memorable and pleasant experience, and we thank you for that.
The food was delicious, the view is magnificent, the personal touch and caring is so lovely and made us feel special. I came back everyday in th late afternoon from activities, my bed were prepared and poem card on my bed.
When we were check out, the staffs gave us a card with lovely message and added their signatures. Such a warm gestures that touch my heart.
Highly recommended accommodation to stay, if you looking for 5 stars service, to snorkling and to explore the beauty of the Menjangan island.
This accommodation is located in National park and they provide us safari car to travel around the area, so it feel like we were in a safari trip. We would love to come back again one day.

The resort itself was nice, clean and comfortable one with good view in front of the villa we're stayjng at, however, the food from 2 restos are not recommended. Better if you bring your own food or find anything else to eat outside of the resort.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Sangat premium dan ekslusif resort yang berlokasi di Taman Nasipnal Bali Barat. Pertama kali kesini tahun 2015 dan sampai sekarang sudah lumayan cukup sering kesini bersama rekan-rekan dan tamu-tamu mancanegara.

Bali Tower sangat recommended dengan View Lantai 3 yang mempesona, toilet bersih, pelayanan sangat baik dan ramah, welcome drink dan kudapan Vegetables Lumpia nya sangat sehat dan view sekitar Tower sangat hijau.

Otw kesini juga melewati Pohon Keramat dan nampak seperti memasuki Dunia Lain.

Awesome resort. Staff are very friendly and attentive, the food is excellent, there is plenty to do and the scenery and wildlife is beautiful. I would highly recommend and will definitely come back!

Not a family friendly hotel, krn memang lokasi di tengah hutan taman nasional bali barat. Saya menginap di beach villas yang pantainya tidak bisa untuk berenang karena banyak karangnya, tp klo memang mau berenang atau snorkeling bisa jalan sedikit ke jetty yang disediakan resort. Sarapan ala carte nya enak semua, indonesiannya enak, westernnya juga enak, bisa request ga pedes untuk anak2, dan mereka sedia high chair utk anak2. Karena letaknya di hutan mau lunch sama dinner mau ga mau ya di hotel, tapi hotel punya 3 resto utk lunch dan 2 resto untuk dinner. Waktu dinner kita coba resto di beach, sayang suasananya ga cocok utk keluarga dengan 2 toddler, jd kami balik ke kamar utk take away dinner, takut mengganggu yg romantic dinner. Kamar villa luas, kamar mandi open ceiling, view kamar cakep bgt. Buat yg honeymoon atau mau nikmatin underwaternya bisa dicoba.

Didn't stay since it was too expensive, but it was stunning. The rooms are luxurious and the facilities and amenities looked amazing. The setting in the national park was lovely, though I personally, am against the use of national park land by private individuals for profit. Certainly though, a bird watchers paradise.

Fine resort, not very crowded when I came, which is very nice since I was looking for a place to relax. The weather was great too, a bit of cold wind with sunshine, just nice. All of the staffs were very friendly and helpful. The beach is clean with clear water. The food is delicious too. It was a great time!

Amazing place, nested in Bali's West National Park. The location is unique, in the middle of untouched dry equotarian forest. From the lodge, you can access the beautiful beach, in the heart of the mangrove, or go to the observation tower than rises dozens of meters above the top of mountain and enjoy sunset facing East Java's most impressive volcanoes. Service is great.

The place is overwhelming! Free bikes, free water refilling, on the edge in terms of eco-friendly environment. They are located on the National Park, so you need to pay for the ticket as a visitor, but the overall hospitality is outstanding. The staff makes everything so you could feel the most welcome guest there.

You will wake up with a view of white sanded beach, then enjoying breakfast with a beautiful view.

Wonderful hotel and atmosphere, in the middle of the park, you can see animals, hotel crew are very nice, food is excellent, horse riding, wonderful snorkeling.

Wow wow wow. My husband and I stayed at the The Menjangan resort for 3 nights during our Bali honeymoon in April 2019 and loved it. This was a unique experience that felt adventurous and luxurious at the same time! First, the location is amazing. Far from “mainstream” Bali, arriving at the Menjangan in West Bali National Park felt so remote! We stayed in a suite at the Monsoon Lodge and loved it. Very comfortable bed, beautiful decor, amazing pool with chaise lounge chairs, and water cooler to fill our water bottles (anyone traveling in Indonesia knows how amazing this is!) From the Monsoon Lodge, you take a open air shuttle to the beach/restaurant and the Bali Tower. The beach was so peaceful and beautiful. The restaurant had delicious drinks and very good food! It was a mix of Indonesian (Nasi Goreng, Curry & Rice) & western (surf & turf, pasta). We had drinks one evening at the Bali Tower to watch the sunset and it was incredibly romantic- very peaceful and quiet. During our stay, we saw so much wild life! We saw plenty of deer (Menjangan), birds, and wild monkeys (very different from those in the Monkey Forest in Ubud). We went snorkeling at Menjangan Island one day and had an amazing time- the guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the coral and the fish, the equipment was great, and the views were amazing. We also went sunset horseback riding one evening at the resort and had a really amazing experience. Finally, the staff at this resort is excellent. Everyone is so helpful, friendly, and accomodating! They really made us feel welcomed and helped us have a special trip. Five stars for this unique resort!

An out of the world experience. Set in the middle of a forest reserve, it's a perfect getaway spot. Each villa is carefully designed to ensure privacy. Deers roaming in tour garden is not something you can experience every day. The staff is extremely polite, efficient and attentive. The Octagon must have one of the best chef and staff combined. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. Thank you Plateran Menjangen.
