23 We had walked by during the day when it was full so went back for dinner. Asked for table away from smoking and we were shown seating in beautiful serene garden with water features and subtle lighting. The noise of Ubud just faded away. Absolutely delicious lemongrass and ginger drinks, so refreshing. Tamarind Chicken - very tough couldn’t eat it and NO tamarind flavour at all. The veggies and rice were steamed to perfection however unfortunately they were sitting in a flavourless broth. We have eaten tamarinds many times so know how much flavour they should have provided to this dish. The pork dish ordered was very flavourful and rich. Unfortunately the tofu soup that came with it was cold and unpleasant. Spoke to the staff who were very pleasant and appreciative of the feedback.
Kudos to the staff for going above and beyond to provide friendly hospitality. Kudos to owners for providing such a gorgeous environment for guests to eat in.
The taste of the food was an absolute disaster and that for the high price. There are much better cafes and restaurants in Ubud. Soft-boiled food and not recommended. Maybe for drinks but not for food.
The entire food was just greasy.we got diarrhea and vomiting afterwards.and that in a cafe.we stick with the local warungs. At least the food is made fresh there. As quickly as the food came, we doubted whether it was freshly prepared or just warmed up.
Dont eat food here.
This place is only worth for drinking an watching people and the road traffic.
Tested twice (breakfast and dinner) over a few days in the UBUD region. Located in the heart of the city, near the temples: the typical dishes are good and generous for the price (nasi goreng etc). I also tried more traditional drinks (based on herbs/turmeric/tamarind) Possibilities Western choices, especially for breakfast if you wish. The typical setting will invite you to relax despite the traffic and scooters. 2 rooms, one of which is at the back in the garden.can have a seated lunch:)
Pretty OK but certainly not the best that Indonesia has to offer. Both in terms of service and food.
In the heart of Ubud we came across this restaurant. We chose Balinese cuisine. The dishes are plentiful and delicious.
I don't recommend eating here. The back patio is amazingly beautiful but the food is so average it isn't worth it. We had the steak (overcooked and tough, even the french fries were soggy), the duck was OK but all the sides were meh. The beef stew was tough and had NO sides.
The garden dining area at the back of the restaurant is the most beautiful oasis off the busy road. Stunning atmosphere of calm and beauty - loved it. The Indonesian food was very good!
Friendly staff, free WiFi, and above all else, fantastic food. Decent vegetarian options which were made vegan effortlessly.
We had the iced cappuccino with a tuna sandwich. The service was good and fast and the cafe and sandwich were good. Cafe is very close to the main road and therefore a lot of noise and pollution
Place was nice but the food was super bad! I got fish n chips and the fish smell was strong+i found a fish skin inside overpriced food with low quality.
The food was really delicious here! I’ve been here 3 times at least and it’s been always great! Tom yum soup, Gado gado, tuna steak, coffee. I highly recommend you to try! The service was very attentive!
Delicious traditional Balinese feed! Food was some of the best we’ve had in Bali and very well priced! Would come back!
Located opposite a small temple and market place along the main restaurant/bar drag on Ubud. There are 2 outdoor tables on the courtyard next to a beautiful ancient doorway. There’s a chilling spot under shelter one side and the main restaurant/bar the other. It’s off a very busy road but good for people spotting. A tad noisy though but that’s Ubud.
Not a bad variety of food. For Bali, this is about 6/10. I’ve eaten at places with more on the menu but there’s still a variety. The prices are very reasonable and on the cheaper side. This does not reflect the quality. The food is tasty and presentation is nice. We forgot to photograph our starter which was the spring rolls and tasty. It won’t blow you out the water but it’s not trying to be a Michelin restaurant. It’s worth a visit if you’re passing.
Note: I didn’t manage to take a photo of all the pages on the menu. People started watching me so I bottled it.
Puanın neden bu kadar düşük olduğunu anlayamadığım yer. Konumu çok Merkezi yemeklerini ve fiyatlarınıda başarılı bulduk
This place has been photographed by John Legend when he visiting Ubud. Great place in the center of ubud
Food was fine, but this is a quite expensive place. If you are looking for authentic place, avoid this restaurant.
Nice taste of food, polite service but we came at 8: 30 and they didnt have more than half main dishes so we had really few choices to decide after 15 minutes of waiting to order.
We arrived late to Ubud and could not find any place to eat except here. I dont know why the rates are not high. I think the food was good and the service was polite & fast.
Pretty place with good service. But food was disappointing and they used some funny chicken which made my sister a bit ill! Walk a little further and go somewhere nice.
