The Glass House

Travelled to this restaurant especially for breakfast. It was disappointing! I ordered poached eggs Benedict with steamed asparagus. The yolk of the eggs was hard. The hollandaise sauce wasn't like any that I'd ever tasted previously and the asparagus was soggy. The bread was tasteless and too hard to cut with the knife provided. The restaurant wasn't busy although it was Saturday morning. It is definitely over priced and over rated.

I came here for my birthday the food and service was amazing went above with a surprise cake and a birthday sign with decorated table and chairs. It was that great we booked for the next night. Highly recommend if in sanur.

Servings very small, I don't comment on cost makes no difference to me.
What is important is that I left feeling hungry. The staff are very polite. I went to another Cafe for breakfast.
The coffee here is the best in Sanur, but I will not return.

We enjoyed dinner here a couple of times after seeing it recommended on a FB group. Great food and good cocktails at happy hour! Sanur seafood basket and nasi goreng highly recommended.

Food was okay, nothing to rave about. Nice cocktails and a good place to go to have dinner in aircon. More suitable for older western customers.

This small resto is where we have breakfast when staying in Sanur areas. A simple, clean cozy spots providing good quality value for money dishes.

We choose the regular american breakfast, with perfect sunny side up eggs, my wive choose french toast with delish strawberry jam.

The fresh fruit bar was also not dissapointing. They provide freshly cut papaya, water melon, pineapple, melon and banana.

What is surprisingly amazing is their coffee. Really good coffee. Will be back.

Nice little restaurant, good coffee, breakfast is just okay, the big breakast isn't big at all and staff isn't as friendly as most places in Bali. There is potential but not quite there yet.

The Harry Haloumi salad was divine.

The ginger fizz was refreshing and not sickly sweet (thank you)

Grateful for the outdoor eating area with the large fans as this was so pleasant to be sitting in

For the air con fans there is a whole room dedicated for you too!

The menu is well priced and great when you e had your fill of rice and noodles.

At the time of writing this review, this end of Sanur is undergoing some major reconstruction!

Breakfast not as described - missing the prosciutto and shaved parmesan.

Staff were friendly but did not understand the issue of the missing components.
They suggested they remake the meal, which I assumed would rectify the issue. Unfortunately the second attempt was the same as the first. We pointed out the issue again but staff did not understand so we dropped it.

When presented with the bill, we were asked how our meal was. I expressed my disappointment and we were offered a 10% discount.

A follow-up email to the restaurant went unanswered.

Great meals! Had lunch and then returned for cocktails and dinner in the evening. Door and louvered front open to street so a bit noisy for dinner as we were eating in the front/bar part of the restaurant. Overall very happy with our experience at TGH.

We have been here 6 years ago and it was fantastic. Today, sadly, was the opposite.
We asked twice if the day special crispy duck was on the bone, or boneless. After confirming that is was boneless, two of our group ordered it.
It came on the bone, and there was almost no meat on it. They offered to replace the main and at the end took one off the bill.
My baby back ribs portion was tiny, especially in relation to the price. The right size if you want to leave space for a cheese cake afterwards as you have a whole to fill.
The only good main was the coconut crusted barramundi.
The price value doesn’t match the expectations anymore. Something went down the line the last 6 years. I hope they will turn it around by the time we come back next time.

Different choices possibles. Menus and prices are very fair and really good. Belongs to an appartment area. The staff is very friendly and drinks (juices, wine and cocktails) are very good. We were there different times during our stay and were always served at the top. For dessert I would recommend their lemo. Cake which is by far the best I have ever had around the world.

First time visit. Cakes are fantastic. Hubbie ate cakes instead of meal. Had nasi goreng on 2nd visit which was really good.

Excellent Baby Back Short Ribs, Fish & Chips the Best and the Carrot Cake to "Die For". Service was awesome! Visiting from the United States and we found one of our Favorite places to dine.

Really good, service, yummy fresh food great trendy but relaxed vibe. Outside covered seating with bar & fans, inside tables & aircon. North end of Sanur. Salads, wraps, spring rolls, calamari, cakes, coffee, fresh boost juices, main meals all great. We had lunch & dinner here. Reasonable prices.

This is a really great restaurant. The menu offers a wide variety of local and western food. The quality of food is wonderful, as is the service.

Great food in air-conditioned comfort. We had a bottle of the Two Island Reserve Chardonnay which was the best local wine we've had.

My girlfriend and I had dinner at the glass house and came away pleasantly surprised with this friendly neighbourhood bar. The owners greeted us with open arms and a worthy cocktail list. The staff are attentive and great for a laugh.

We enjoyed both drinks and dinner - We had the coconut barramundi which I highly recommend.

The service was greatly appreciated after a day of stomping the streets and haggling down the prices of faux Ray bans. Plus the air conditioning makes this venue a god send (those who know, know).

NOT A GOOD PLACE FOR BREAKFAST!
The menu description does not align with the reality of what you receive!
Menu: We ordered the homemade spicy baked beans, served on fresh ciabatta bread with eggs.
Reality: We received 2 spoons of tasteless canned baked beans, 1 slice of bread cut in half to make it appear more and 1 single fried egg for 60k. Most places offer double this quantity for this price! The photo shows exactly what arrived. Terrible, disappointing and tasteless!

Dodge a bullet and enjoy breakfast somewhere that maintains integrity, quality and quantity! There are so many great options in Sanur and this place is NOT one of them!

Used for lunch. Avocado sandwich was very good. I had pavlova for dessert, which I haven't had in a while, and was disappointed that there was very little cream and fruit compared to before. I felt the price was quite expensive and when I checked the menu after I got home, I paid almost 70k more. I asked for a separate bill since the bill was shared, but I guess there must have been a mistake somewhere.
It was my fault for not checking on the spot, so next time I will be more careful.
