The Elephant ulasan
45Not tasty, the food is very mediocre, and the appearance of the food leaves much to be desired. Seeing such a number of reviews, you expect something more interesting. The fresh juice was brought with ice, there are vegan functions, which consist only in removing these components from a dish with cheese or eggs, without replacing anything, but leaving the price the same. This is bad service. The food looked like it came from a diner, the menu was very small and meager, and overall not very clean. I do not advise.
Awesome vegetarian restaurant. Tom yum soup was amazing. Beautiful views, atmosphere and service. Really recommend!
Very tasty
Terima kasih
Just ask for the exact ingredients of the dish if you are vegan and don’t eat milk and eggs
This place is not cheap, but I find the food really tasty.
I'd rather come here again than to the hyped Sayan House which I find really overpriced. The Elephant has no live music, but the food portions are much bigger and the atmosphere is more relaxed (it was not crowded at all)
Beautiful cafe nestled away from the main road and with a lovely view across to the Campuhan walking ridge. Healthy, delicious food, lots of vegetarian/vegan options and hearty salads. Staff are super friendly. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommended place to stop for food or a drink and to soak up the calm and the view.
If you like chai, it's superb here.
Beautiful view and food, I always love visiting the elephant. The sage gnocchi is very good!
The gnocchis, juices and view are awesome. We didn’t like the smoothie (the « instagramable » one:) but we would definitely come again!
A hilltop cafe hideout with the overview of the greeneries of Campuhan. The perfect place to cut out from the noises and listen to nature (or a group of hippies preaching midfullness). Serving all vegan dishes from snack sharing meals to single bowl dishes ie; Buddha Bowls. Using all local and fresh produce of Bali. Personally a fan of their cold pressed juices, theyre allmost like a mocktail but made with a fruit medley.
Food was below average for hip restaurants in Ubud. Cappuccino also below average.
View is really nice and very relaxed atmosphere!
Was here for breakfast.
Fantastic views and atmosphere. Pad Thai was delicious. Sangria was good but wasn’t very strong.
The food at this restaurant is all vegetarian- but it’s ideal if you have a vegetarian in your group, because even normal people will enjoy the food.
The Vietnamese pancakes were delicious and the larb was absolutely outstanding. The dragonfruit smoothie was a unique taste, and very enjoyable. I didn’t like the beetroot juice ‘purple haze’, but the token vegetarian did!
With a lovely view over the fields and friendly service, this is a great lunch spot for a day trip to Ubud.
I love the quality and the taste of the food. The view is spectacular. However, be careful if you are going in the evening there are a lot of mosquitoes since it is a bit jungly
Yum! 10/10
I ordered a smoothie and Tom yum and veggie burger and all were delish!
Highly recommend to anyone! Even meat eaters:)
Superb views of the campuhan ridge, but be careful of mosquitoes in the evening. Very chillax vibes and the staff was very friendly and helpful in advising us on the food due to our special dietary requirements (no onion garlic eggs etc). Food was wholesome and delicious.
The ambience is very nice
Food is ok
Salads look big but it's just greens. So you will pay like a normal dish and ve hungry.
Not really healthy.
Desserts are all made with white sugar
I had lunch here today and it was great! I could eat the whole menu. I'm a vegetarian and it was so hard to pick what to eat at it all sounds so good! The staff were so nice, too, and attentive (though we were the only customers). The bartender also makes a delicious, fresh margarita.
I did not enjoy the food and service at all. The food was unpleasant, I ordered two ‘Cheesy Pastas’ for my kids and it had no cheese, it was just pasta and butter. The service was also bad, the waitresses weren’t paying attention at all. The only nice thing was the view, but other than that I did not enjoy it at all. I highly don’t recommend it.
The food was delicious and the ambience was great, especially with an awesome vista of the hills in the backdrop.
The only downside is that you pay for it. It's a little costly and the portions won't leave you struggling to finish.
A great place to chill out after a long day - with inside parking!
Great views over the Campuhan ridge walk. The food was very good, the Laksa was great. Very friendly staff.
