The Athaya Ubud

I recently visited Bali where I stayed at Athaya, Ubud and it was such a pleasure. The rooms were pretty great along with all the necessary amenities and the staff was super friendly. Special thanks to Ms. Mega for her hospitality and being in constant touch and assiting us with all our requirements and Mr. Deva Arizona for helping us with travels and organizing tours for us. It was an amazing experience being associated with Athaya!

Kami booking kamar yg exclusive dengan pool pribadi dengan harapan kamar tersebut sudah ready jam 2 (sesuai standard hotel), sampai kami disana jam 2 kurang 10mnt kamar blm ready dan baru dibersihkan, di confirm kami akan menunggu 20-30mnt, kami pun mengecek kamar karena ingin tau kondisi kamar walaupun masih dalam proses dibersihkan dan ternyata kolam renangnya sangat kotor perlu dimaintenence, saya confirm akan discus dngn istri terhadap kondisi kamar dan akhir nya di tlp oleh reception dan kami bilang tidak jadi untuk mengambil kamar tersebut krn pertimbangan pool dan kondisi kamar.
Akan tetapi Tiba2 kami dapat WA dari pihak hotel dan kami dituduh tidak sopan karna pergi begitu saja, dan kami pun kecewa dengan tuduhan tersebut, semoga service komunikasi dengan guest diperbaiki walaupun kami local dan maintenence ptivate pool bisa ditingkatkan, kami suka dengan hotelnya tp ada pertimbangan dengan fasilitasnya juga seperti apa kondisinya dan tentu saja dengan harga yg ditawarkan, semoga kedepan bisa lebih baik lagi

We stayed at Athaya Ubud for two weeks and absolutely loved it. The location is perfect in Mas, super close to Titi Batu, and only 10 minutes scooter ride from the Ubud town centre. The room and facilities were perfect. EPICLY comfortable bed (it was like sleeping on a cloud!). The staff were just lovely and provided us with our own water dispenser, given how long we were staying there. The pool was gorgeous too. If you want to still experience Ubud, but avoid the hectic crowds and noise, this is the hotel for you

We had an amazing time in Athaya for a whole six months!

It may sound unusual, but we had all the comforts of independence with our fully equipped room and kitchen. Additionally, we enjoyed the exceptional hotel service, with WhatsApp messages keeping us informed, and their availability and responsiveness at any time of the day, truly going above and beyond

They even remembered my birthday and brought me a small cake in the evening, singing "Happy birthday"! The team is incredibly warm and professional

Ayu, Mega & Tita at the reception always had a smile on their faces

Pande & Dwipa from housekeeping were always ready to lend a hand with our heavy bags or replace our empty water jug in the evening

Komang, Kadek & Gus Widya showed great understanding and shared their contacts in Bali to help us out

In short, we can wholeheartedly recommend Athaya, whether for a short stay or several weeks or months like us - it's truly fantastic

The proximity to the center of Ubud is ideal. Furthermore, the access is through one of the few pedestrian streets in the area (shared with a few motorized vehicles). And the property is less than a 5-minute walk from Ubud's most coveted club, Titi Batu

Lastly, from our spacious "L" shaped balcony, we had a breathtaking view of the sunset behind the forest of banana and papaya trees - a dream come true!

Thank you again to the entire team for everything. And our two dogs, who were pampered by you, also thank you for your tolerance and daily cuddles

Athaya Ubud, the place to be!

Little walk to the monkey Forest. Staff is courteous max. Breakfast is not unlimited buffet.

Hands down, but can I give this place a hundred stars?
We’re staying in Athaya for several months, and we’ve tried several suites here. Everything is just perfect, great quite location with nice views nearby, close to the center.
The rooms are always clean, spacious and very cozy to stay in.
One amazing thing is people who work here. The kindest personalities, who are always ready to help, to advise something. Guys, you are making this place so special!
Btw, they have a spa zone here, so you can order some massage, which is also quite nice.

The place has so much potential. The property and the rooms just need a proper update and some new freshness. The most friendly and supportive staff also deserves it. I'm convinced more people will come and return, also wanting to pay more, after the updates which they have planned. They just don't have the money yet, due to Covid and necessary big maintanance spendings, to do all at once. I will return but only when updated and fresher.

This was my second time in this hotel. I come back, because I loved the place, staff and the hotel itself before. But I decided to give lower rating this time, because I want to give a honest feedback. I hope, that next time it will be better and I will give 5* again. The servis was so slow and sometime times there wasn’t any servis at all. Don’t take me wrong, I love the people, who works there, they were so kind, but if you are siting in the restaurant and nobody is even ask you, if you need something, it’s just not good. Sometimes, we waited just for a soda can 15 minutes and we have to remind (we were there just the only gusts there - definitely not busy), or next time we didn’t even received the full order. Waiting times for breakfast or food was extremely long. BUT I have to say, that the food was so tasty!

My conclusion? It’s definitely a great hotel with super value/money ratio, the rooms are nice, the staff is really kind, the location was for us perfect (calm place, but close to Ubud center), BUT I think, that there should be at least one more staff member. That can change a lot. Please improve that and we will definitely comeback.

Nice place to stay, as it's close to town, still having the Ubud village vibe.staffs are very polite n gentle, as same as other ubudians.rooms are neat n tidy.most of the facilities available in few meter distance.including restau.laundry.in walkable distance.enjoyed very much my stay. Will come back for sure.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. Rooms are ok but suffered a bit.internet connection is miserable, if you depend on it for work, forget it.but for leisure, cool place.you'll need your own ride to access the center of Ubud.

Kamarnya lega, bersih, khas Ubud sekali.showernya lancar.di kamar mandi disediakan sabun sampai handbody, kolam renang tidak bau kaporit.lokasi strategis kalo mau ke monkey forest cukup 5 menit naik motor.staffnya ramah dan sangat membantu.saya check in jam 11 siang dan di perbolehkan.sayang sekali di masa pandemi seperti ini bisnis hotel dan wisata banyak yg tutup.sarapanpun diantar kekamar karena kitchen tidak menyediakan banyak pilihan.dapat dimaklumi semoga semua cepat kembali seperti sediakala. I'd be glad to coming back

Villa di ubud yang rekomen banget, view sawah, tempatnya jauh dari keramaian, nyaman sekali untuk liburan, staffnya ramah dan menyenangkan

One of the best hotels in Ubud for that amount of money! Totally in love with the view, amazing sunsets stuff are really friendly and helpful.the water pressure is the best i’ve experienced in Bali (i think it’s important). I definitely recommend this hotel 10/10

The Athaya is located in the serene surroundings of rice fields. Truely magnificent location.very friendly staff who help you with getting around the city. Good restaurant.

Amazing hotel with staff that treat you like family. Ayu and Dewa are great! My wife and I have stayed at hotels in many countries and this is one of the best! Staff is so accommodating. Beautiful pool and great breakfast. Nice 4-star level rooms.

Beautiful hotel but in a quiet part of Ubud however it's only a 15-20 min walk to all the shops and bars

Really nice hotel with lovely staff who are willing to help with anything! The rooms are clean, bed is comfy and the shower is good, tho the warm water turns cold slowly after 6-7 min.but you can delay by turning the temparature warmer. The Wi-Fi connection was bad in our room and since we were sick these few days that was a bit unlucky for us. They arranged a ride for us for a reasonable price to our next destination. We rented a scooter for 2 days and that is needed if you want to travel around Ubud. You can also use the free taxi service from the hotel, but we liked the scooter more since it gives you more freedom and we were only 2 people. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.
