The Alena Resort

A mixed bag experience at Alena.the resort is off ubud.they should have more shuttles to the city. Their in house breakfast is very good quality and very well served. The Balinese message as part of our package was wonderful. Very relaxing and professional.the drawback was that everything needed re reminders. They had promised room decoration for my friends birthday which they forgot even after 2 reminders later made up by offering a slice of cake and a bunchof flowers. There were a few things Over promised and under delivered. Also the people from the reservation desk who took our booking never came to meet us etc The Indian meal which was promised was very underwhelming.
The property is fun.but dint get much time to experience any speciality other than the Spa

My best friend and I stayed at Alena Resort for five days and were more than thrilled. The rooms were very clean, the food was fantastic and the staff is extremely helpful.

The most impressive and beautiful memory will probably remain the cooking class. Not only was it great fun, but it was very educational.

The outdoor area is fantastic, beautiful pools and beautifully landscaped. You feel like you are in a jungle paradise. Breakfast is plentiful and tasty, although everything is very sweet.
Now, unfortunately, to the unsightly: the first room smelled extremely musty and was damp. The sheets were noticeably damp and the paper from the welcome letter was already slightly wet. The bathroom is visually very nice.

When we asked at reception, we were given a new room in a friendly and uncomplicated manner. The smell better, although still slightly musty, moisture also a little better.
However, mold did appear on the curtains and when we opened the mosquito nets, it smelled so much of urine!

Conclusion: Breathtaking complex, good food, but the rooms below any standard! We haven't experienced anything like this during our whole Bali trip.
Maybe the villas are better but don't book a standard room!

A very beautiful resort from day 1! The resort felt like a warm community you can lean on for many services like in-house spa, cooking classes, yoga and private patio dining experiences. Great staff that make you feel at home.

Amazing place, the pools are great the food is just amazing and the view from the restaurant was just great! The service was 11/10 and the Shuttlebus system to Ubud was great.
They offer spa and yoga classes and much more

This hotel is so beautiful and they have great pools. The staff were amazing. But it has a few flaws. Their standard room was too small. The hotel is too far from Ubud center. They provide free rides, but it takes half an hour to get there. I recommend staying here mainly to enjoy the pools but it’s not practical for long-term stay because there isn’t anything around it, no shop, no cafés, and Ubud center is too far.

The Alena Resort was an amazing experience from start to finish. We stayed in their villa with the private pool and highly recommend that. The service was incredible. Apriani, Kris, and everyone in the restaurant was so sweet and took excellent care of us. The front desk staff made sure we didn’t need anything. And our spa treatments were perfection. The owners should be proud, they have an incredible staff. We would love to come back!

Beautiful Balinese resort.
We stayed in a private villa, which was absolutely amazing, pool was lovely with a Waterfall cascading into it.
Outside had a sit down area with table, chairs bar fridge and sunlounges.
Inside the villa we had an open undercover bathroom with a deep bath and rain shower.
Bedroom consisted of a gorgeous round bed with curtain hanging around it.
Breakfast and dinner was absolutely delicious
The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make your stay perfect? The first night we stayed they were having a Balinese Cultural dinner and show, it was fully booked as we arrived late but they were able to accommodate us which was great as the food and show was fantastic
We also had a relaxation massage for my partner and I in their spa which was so relaxing loved every minute of it
They also provide a free shuttle into the main street in Ubud 4 times a day.
I would also like to say a huge thankyou to the staff for providing us with a lovely Chocolate lava cake for our wedding anniversary and then for my birthday aswell

Room was perfect.

AMAZING! Everything was great. The staff was incredibly attentive and kind. Shuttle to Ubud center worked great for us. The resort is super tidy and relaxing. Breakfast (and especially the coffee) were very very good! Thank you for everything!

The resort is too good specially the architecture and the scenic view. The staffs are very polite.

Having just spent five nights at the Alena we would be very happy to go again. The rooms and facilities are nicely designed and well maintained. The restaurant is very good with good food well prepared and presented. The staff throughout the resort are unerringly friendly and very professional. They anticipated our needs at every turn. We loved it!

We stayed here and had a really relaxing time! We booked a deluxe room with breakfast, and all was good. The room was big and comfy. The restaurant also really nice. But I have to say. I am vegan and it was hard to find some vegan options.: (

Villa murah di Ubud! Pelayanannya bagus sekali, harganya murah karena pas dapet promo, ada bathub, ada kolam renang juga, ada live music di malam setiap hari Jumat. Karyawannya ramah ramah, hanya saja jalanan pas mau masuk masih rusak, dan lokasinya masuk di dalam paling ujung. Tp rekomen bgt kalau mau menginap di Ubud

Lokasi agak ke dalam tp tdk jauh dr jalan ke ubud. Bisa ke tampaksiring. Relatif dekat dgn lokasi wisata spt bali zoo atau desa wisata panglipuran goa gajah dll.
Layak utk yg ingin menyepi atau healing.
Utk makan/minum, bila tdk ingin makan di resto hotel bisa pesan via on line.
Unik, jam 7 pagi ada tour gratis ke persawahan. Ada route keluarga atau route tracking. Saran saja, ambil route tracking, pemandangan sawahnya lebih indah.

Excellent Stay. The staff were very nice and polite. The rooms are clean and the pool well maintained. Highly recommended for those who want peaceful stay away from the city.

Good in hospitality, their room is spacious, the price menus still reasonable with nice taste, view is great. The thing that they need to improve is the road on ther location eventhough it is not quite far from main road but it bumping.

I give 5 stars for my experience. The staffs are very kind and helpful. The atmosphere is quiet and calming, the room is just beautiful. The only minus side is the access.

The location is perfect, it's very quite. They have shuttle service very your to go to Ubud that work very good.

Amazing place, with a very kind staff and comfortable accommodation. They provide all useful services to the customers, like shuttle bus to Ubud center, private drivers for day tours, food service wherever you desire it. Rooms are comfortable, big size bed and bathroom, clean room and a small private garden.
Breakfast was good, dinner just ok, I would say the only thing below expectations but not enough to leave 1 star less, maybe a 4.5 stars would have been the best rating.
They offer also booking for boats to Gili Islands: a bit more expensive than what you can get in the boxes in Ubud by certainly more efficient, as some people get troubles when they were going to collect the tickets while we were super ok.
