Tembeling Beach and Forest

Ride the motorcycle for about 20 minutes and go down the steep stairs. The jade-colored swimming pool is a unique attraction~
The surrounding cliffs are also unexplored.
It's hard to climb up, but the moment you get on the motorcycle, the cool breeze makes you forget your worries.

Even if you pay money, be sure to ride a motorcycle down there. This is the round-trip price.

When it's dry you can go down by scooter. The two of us rode down and up on 150cc scooters

Unfortunately I'm a bit disappointed.
So the beach is beautiful and the “mini pools” are great for swimming.
Otherwise it just wasn't worth the effort for me.
To get to the beach, an extremely bad route of about 2km leads to the destination. Riding the scooter wasn't fun. (Definitely nice for hikers)
Arrived at the parking lot, of course stairs like to any beach.
It's best to form your own opinion. The beach is worth seeing.

Freshwater bathhouse in front of the beach. I recommend it because the walking section is easier than other places located on cliffs.

A nice and hidden place, but if you are not used to riding a motorbike in the forest, don't bring a motorbike here, the road is very dangerous, they provide motorbike taxis but they are quite expensive

Dari jalan raya menuju ke parkir bawah jalannya cukup ekstrem. Jalan turunan yang cukup 2 motor aja, jd hati² ngeremnya. Tapi bisa sewa ojek PP 75k.
Dari tempat parkir bawah ke pantainya, ada tangga cukup banyak.semangat aja yaa wkwk pasti sampai

View bagus, ada kolam buat berendam dan ayunan juga.

Less tourists. The way down is next level. If you’re not an experienced bike rider or your motorbike doesn’t have a lot of cc’s, then it’s best to take one of the taxi guys down.
My husband is experienced but the the way up is no joke. It was quite an adventure!
Incredible spot to swim in the pools and enjoy the scenery. The lush green on the way down is incredible.

The scooter taxi option is surely the best if you are not comfortable. The path is "perilous". Arrived at the bottom 5000 IDR for parking, a classic. 300 steps down, a small "natural" swimming pool and a beautiful beach, Beautiful colors, calm atmosphere.

Difficult to access. Do it by scoot (15min) or by walk (30min) if your comfortable with driving motorcycle. The beach is beautiful even if you can not really swim in ocean here. The natural pool is very nice, fresh and big enough to swim and play in it.

A must visit on Nusa Penida! The natural pools are beautiful and the water is refreshingly cold plus the little beach is beautiful and a must see spot.

It's best to go early, we were there at around 10am and there was still very little other people.

You can either walk to the pools & beach or pay for a scooter ride. We opted to walk down, it was a 40 minute walk and the road is okay but only recommended if you are moderately fit. We opted to take a scooter ride back up as it won't be a easy hike back up the rocky road in the heat. Paid 50k per person for a one way scooter ride back up - be warned it's a very bumpy ride back up, the local guys know what their doing and know the road well but it's still a very dangerous ride so wear a helmet! I don't recommend driving this road on your own scooter unless you are very comfortable with driving steep and dangerous rocky roads.

Safe yourself the stress and pay the 50k to have a local guy drive you up & down!

There is also a lady with a little stall at the pools that sells cooldrinks/beers and snacks.

This was money well spend to see the beautiful view and the best swim we had on the island.

Beautiful beach and natural pools. If you are planning to drive there by yourself, the approach path/road is steep and adventurous.

You could get a local to drive you to and fro on a scooter for about 100k IDR per person.

This "pool" is a joke. The area is full of people. Challenging drive down and maybe even more challenging up.

The view on the sea is unique but in my opinion, it's not worth the hustle.

We drove only half way to take a walk through the forest and it was the best decision. Otherwise it would be disappointing.

Jalan menuju kesini sangat terjal, sempit dan licin. Kadang-kadang ada monyet liar. Kalo kesini jangan terlalu sore, sebelum jam 4 sore sudah sepi apalagi di kelilingi hutan. Tapi tempat nya bagus banget, dibalik jalan yang seperti neraka ada surga dibawahnya

Temeling tempat yang indah, natural poolnya sangat mengesakan serta pura pancuhan yang ada paling atas menjaga kestabilan kita untuk menjaganya

Kalo pakai mobil haru naik ojek karena dari parkiran mobil sangat jauh, kolam sudah dangkal karena banjir bandang. Tp tetap oke pantainya. Hehe

Pantai yang menarik dengan adanya mata air dan tebing yang menjulang tinggi, tapi menuju pantai ini harus menuruni tebing kira2 200 meter tapi dijamin tempt nya bagus dan masih alami

Akses jalan dari pangkalan ojek lumayan ekstrim, harus hati", sampai di parkir motor turun jalan kaki dengan akses tangga lumayan untuk olahraga. Kadang ada monyet tapi tidak galak. Kesini pas pandemi jadi masih sepi, airnya bening dan segar.

Pertemuan beach dan gunung yang susah banget dicari. Tapi masuknya ke lokasinya harus jago naik motor atau bayar aja ojek ditungguin 50rb bolak balik.

Tapi worth it

Long crazy motor bike ride through the jungle. But once you get there its worth it.
Natural fresh water pool in the edge of the beach, under the tree. Perfect place to relax and chill. You can ridw a motorbike taxi for only 20k rupiah the will take you to the beach entrance and you only need to walk down a bit.
