Tamarind Beach Bungalows Nusa Lembongan Island, Bali

Need to hire a bike to ride to main white beach areas. Nice to circumnavigate the island to many nice locations. Good budget hotel for travellers base.

Listrik padam di tengah malam, tidak ada genset, terpaksa harus tidur dengan ac alam dengan nyamuk2 yg ganas. Breakfast hambar. Namun staff cukup friendly

We ate in the restaurant attached to the hotel.
It was disastrous.

Between the expired ketchup, the Chicken Burger without chicken and the ridiculous fish and chips.
The climax was when the waiter flat out told me that I was lying about the ketchup. (It really stings!)

He ended up tasting it at my insistence and after a grimace on his part, maintained that it was good.
Just to run away.

This is the worst accommodation of my life. Not even worth 1 star.
I stayed here for 2 nights at the villa, and the most absurd thing was that they didn't even clean the room after 1 night. I couldn't take a shower because hot water didn't come out when I showered, and there were a lot of ants and the bed was very uncomfortable. The smell of incense and the smoke from illegal burning of garbage permeated into the room all night, and it was difficult to sleep because my nose was blocked, and fortunately I was not bitten by mosquitoes. I wanted to drink coffee, but the inside of the electric kettle was so dirty that I couldn't boil water. I made a request to the hotel for what I needed, but it was ignored for one reason or another, and the hotel's basics are not good.
There is no pickup or sending service from Lambongan Port, and it takes about 15 minutes by taxi to the hotel for 100k.
It looks close to go to the proper beach around, but it takes more than 20 minutes to walk round and round, and you can only enter the sea during the morning tide. There is a swimming pool in the hotel, but it is unmaintained. It's my first time visiting Indonesia, and even when I buy things at the supermarket, the rates that are applied separately to tourists, unlike locals, are so absurd. There is also no beautiful promenade near the hotel and it is very unpleasant to go out on the street because of the motorbike fumes.
I had very good memories of Phi Phi Island in Thailand, so I visited Lambongan Island, but I returned with only bad memories.

We had a very nice stay in this hotel. It doesn't look like much at the place where you drive up, but then you end up in a very nice garden. Our rooms (standard room en suite) were fine: basic but with everything you need. The hotel has a nice view over the bay. You can't really swim there, but a few hundred meters away is a beach where you can do that very well. Also nice that you can walk to warungs / restaurants and shops. The service is very friendly. The bar has nice fresh fruit juices and the breakfast is nice.

The friends of the staff had a party loudly at the reception literally at 1-3AM midnight, geez everyone trying to sleep, I guess the owner never know about this, they have to put at least the CCTV at reception to know what the hell they have done.

I highly recommend this hotel. Prices are reasonable. Service is friendly and professional.
The room is wide and clean. I stayed in a standard room.
It is next to the sea with charming views on tamarind beach.

We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are basic, even when you have a private room. But it was perfect for us as a family of 4. Staff is friendly, and the kids enjoyed the big pool with a view.

The one thing, however, was absolutely terrible: the tours. They offer private boat tours for snorkelling with manta rays and fish in several locations. But the shipper/ guide is just a random guy who wants to make money, with no knowledge and consciousness about the ocean, the environment, and the marine life! He has no respect whatsoever for it.

The guide stopped on top of the reef! Just literally on top, so you had no choice but to step on it when getting off the boat. Which means breaking and damaging the reef! Something you should never do! Also, even though we asked in advance. He has no materials for kids. So they couldn't snorkel. And, he doesn't look at you in the water, but is busy talking with other boatmen. He even moved the boat, while my son and husband were still holding on to it.

After 5 minutes in the water, getting annoyed because of how he forced us to break coral, we made him go back immediately. Even though we booked him for 3 hours.

So, no, DO NOT book you activities here. We went with a company the next day and they were professionals. Kept a distance from other boats, told everyone not to touch animals, including the rays and to never touch the coral. Also, the guide kept an eye on everyone. For those few euros extra, absolutely worth it.

There is so much more you could do with Tamarind Beach Bungalows! The setting right by the ocean is awesome, it is quiet location and private. It was our first time on Lembogan, to stay here you do need to either be up to walking uphill on bumpy roads or take a scooter to explore the Island. The separate bungalows were nice, good value for money. The open style bathroom was cool, however needs better cleaning. We were disappointed with the breakfast, we have been to Bali for 30 years and no matter the price of the accommodation we always got some fruit for breakfast, at least one type or then usually a nice bowl with different tropical fruit. Here you only got two slices of white toasted bread with one butter and jam sachet. We did get a pot of Bali coffee though which was the upside not just one cup! The restaurant food was ok but really this place has got a lot of potential and with the right number of staff and maturity or experience of staff they could fill this accommodation place and have their restaurant pumping. All in all we will return here the young staff were friendly and did the best they knew how to do with cleaning etc.

Kamar bagus kolam renang ada tapi sayangnya saat malam listrik mati dan saat mau menghubungi pihak Tamarind mereka tidak merespon tlp dan bahkan di reject tidak ada security saat malam jadi kami menginap tanpa listrik saat malamnya padahal di tetangga listrik nyala dan hal ini membuat saya dan keluarga saya kecewa banget

Prepared with love and tasted very good every time.the view is Beach, sea and Bali within your reach.
A great place to relax and enjoy pleasant music.

Very nice location, exceptional view. Comfortable rooms. A very good address with a decent restaurant and swimming pool.

Pantai banyak kapal yg bersandar, paket snorkeling murah!
Sarapan not bad, menu resto pun harganya menarik dan makanannya enak2
Hati2 banyak ulat dan serangga, saya sempat gatal2 tapi it’s okay karena kita hidup di area hewan liar
Siapkan obat nyamuk tambahan, obat alergi seperti CTM, dan minyak kayu putih atau telon untuk pertolongan pertama saat alergi

Luar biasa, 2023 banyak perubahan, kamar AC tidak ada cerita nyamuk2 lg, kolam renang air tawar view laut, mandi air panas & dingin, menu ayam kari, enak n pedas.recomended.

Beautiful location, impeccable service. Quiet, swimming pool, wifi.
The only downside is the kitchen. Small portions and lack of flavor.
