Taco Beach Grill

This place is horrible to say the least, the restaurant was dirty, the chairs were broken, there was storage boxes taking up half the restaurant. Food was not fresh at all, agreeing with everyone that the soft tacos are soggy due to the food being microwaved. The lettuce had gone bad, the avocado had more brown than green. As soon as I got home, I was so sick. Never again.

We’re not sure how this place gets good reviews. We were greeted by the “owner”? He was creepy, drunk and barefoot. He constantly interrupted our meal. The food was not good and cold. Wait staff was great. Drinks were NOT good. Save your time and go someplace else.

Future patrons of this restaurant should note that the portion sizes are tiny. This new practice in Bali by restaurants which are typically owned or co-owned by non Balinese have started to find profits by not increasing the price, but by decreasing the portion size.

Waited one hour for the delivery, paid a bomb for the delivery and the food, and look at the art that’s presented.

I ordered this for lunch, this is not even enough for a starter.

Super expensive, and super bad packaging. Not even sure if this was fresh. Very disappointed. These restaurants should simply be shut.

In the past the food has been great but tonight was a horrible experience. None of the boxes or salsa was taped and the tacos arrived cold and soggy and two of the salsa cups had spilt and ruined a taco.the guacamole dip was watery whereas normally it is thick and fresh. Whoever was in charged of preparing food for carry out duties tonight needs to be retrained. Date Sat 5-22-2021 @ 645pm Bali

Food is ok! It’s not all that! Tables, chairs, glasses are absolutely disgusting! We could literally see the germs on the glasses and tables! Will never go back there.

The food was okey.never had such a bad service.waiter did not even brought us cuttleries for our food.nether an ashtray.we had been the only guests.it took them 10 minutes to see us.the restaurant was not really clean.

Had some tacos to go tonight. The fish tacos were amazing but sadly the tiger prawn were still raw. Was looking forward to taste the prawn tacos.

Average food but very expensive - would have been happy to pay half the price. Ordered a virgin mojito but still paid full price!

A bit pricey for such food where could be less expensive in other places. The taste itself quite inconsistent from time to time. But the place is nice for a cozy hang out and some Salsa dance night.

Staff ignore you while drinking smoothies behind the bar.
'crispy' burrito is on top of a bland bean paste and covered in watery tomatoes so not very crispy.
Tofu sausage is vegan on one page of the menu and vegetarian on the other. Staff have no idea which is right. Its also not a sausage but some mushy paste.

Chips are good and beer is cold.

We had the veggie burrito, beef birra tacos and chilli popper to start, the food was really good and the staff were friendly. We had churros for dessert which were nice, the sauce had a bit of chilli in it which was different. All in all a great authentic Mexican experience.

I suggest you add pork to the nachos (if you aren’t a vegan/vegetarian) when you order one! Love the spicy peri-peri sauce pork. Also for the french fries is a hand cut not the frozen manufactured one, glad to found it at Taco Beach Grill. Beware of the red sauce, it’s hot, made me cough a little bit because I guess I wasn’t that ready when I tried it

The food was tasty. They were some of the best tacos I've had. We were in a group and some locals were less than impressed but I think they don't know what real tacos are.
The tacos come in 3s. I ordered a few and a chilli popper which comes as only one but about 10cm in length. The nachos grande have a generous amount of dips.
The decor looks good with Mexican paintings but it looks a bit run down now, with dirty looking spots around the restaurant and paint starting to sag (not sure if it was a botched job to begin with as the restaurant has been there years but it was my first time). They won Tripadvisor awards which they display on their walls but stopped winning in 2015 which made us a bit nervous what happened in the past 7 years. Some little things I noticed were chipped plates, not enough margarita glasses to go around (resourcesfully they served one in a high ball and another in a low ball), and the menus were in disrepair. Some people didn't know beef tacos were on the menu because that page had fallen out of theirs.
But the food was still good. I recommend they get a fresh lick of paints and some new plates and glasses to keep up.

No beachy but amazing food. I'm a nerd for Mexican food, and while most call themselves Mexican food it's American Mexican and therefore pretty boring.

This place here is the real deal.

However, the flavor could in general kick a bit more. But that is a personal preference.

A solid Mexican food experience. Tacos were good, though more leaves than pork. Burrito was also tasty, but the salsa was the best part. Not spicy, but fresh and flavorful.

We ordered too much because the menu is so good. If i lived here I'd go weekly! Margaritas are awesome!

Had the seafood platter. Not for the faint hearted very spicy with Habeno chilli. The teenage kids thought it was the best mexican they have eaten.very happy with the meal and service.
