Table Talk Ubud

The best soto ayam soup i have had in Indonesia, deliciosu shrimp spring rolls and succulent coriander chicken, perfectly cooked and spiced. Sukarma and the staff are friendly and kind and always smile. A gem tucked off the main drag in Ubd right next to Artini Dijiwa hotel. A lovely place to dine on the veranda.

Great food, amazing staff and nice ambiance. We dined in and ordered room service to the hotel. Julio served us and he was very friendly and extremely professional.

We were staying at the artini where this is based but we didn’t know we would be having dinner every night as they were absolutely amazing. The food is tasty, the staff is so friendly and nice and the atmosphere is so chilled and you get a nice sense of Ubud. We really enjoyed being greeted by Risma especially she was the best and always taught us Balinese words and helped with recommendations. I highly recommend this place.

Had our breakfast as per Artini Dijiwa, good service and pleasant atmosphere. Not a crazy amount of selection but did the job ok.

Amazing place! Good atmosphere and very beautiful! Meal was really tasty and it was served fast! Didn’t forget trying Sukarma’s cocktails! The staff is really kind and helpful.

Sad that we discovered this place on our last day in Ubud. Nice spacious terrace and very chill, cosy atmosphere. We had chicken teriyaki and tipsy ride burger, both of which were great. The chocolate lava cake was one of the good ones I ate in Bali, although one of the two lava cakes we ordered was not very liquid inside. Cocktails were OK but could have been better.

Thank you to Artini, and other staff members for hospitality. Food is great, attitude is amazing. You should try fried banana with ice-cream- that it absolute must. Great lunch- break with family!

Tempatnya bagus, dan ternyata udh berganti nama jdi "Table Talk". Pelayanannya sangat baik dan ramah sekali. Makanannya jg lmyn enak. Ada paket hematnya jg buat yg suka kopi. Kesini prtma kali untuk ngerayain ultah temen, lngsung suka sma tmptnya

We were there at the early evening and only one visitor at that section. The waitress lady was so sweet and nice, very politely behaved every time she talks to us. She made sure we felt good. She even offered us an anti-mosquito spray. The other dude who did the bill was also nice.

Food was great, super great atmosphere (cuz no one there as I prefer quiet space). Super great overall experience.

Layback cafe on a quiet street, staff are lovely and very efficient, food and drink are nice and good price. Very chilled.

First of all, for who want to visit here first time, don't confuse about the name: "the SUKA cafe" is exactly same with "Table talk"

And i think this is pretty nice restaurant for having breakfast or lunch in Ubud.ordered salmon poke bowl and avocado salmon sandwich for our lunch.the taste of food was really good! There is famous & pricey restaurant near here, the name is "Pison", they sells simillar menu, but here is much better than Pison one.

All of ingredient was so fresh and delicious.and the staff was so kind to us. Totally recommended.

Really varied menu and a lovely outside area and indoor litter at very well and in a relaxed, bamboo, wooden type of vibe. Didn’t see too much of the staff but service was good.

Great food and atmosphere! Best iced americano I’ve had in the area. I made a mistake with my order that was completely my fault and they went above and beyond to fix it.

I definitely recommend this restaurant. Ideally located 20 meters away from the Main Street you will be able to enjoy good food away from the noise. If you come, you can ask Artini to give you a quick Indonesian lesson! Super kind and very helpful! 100% recommend.

I COULD NEVER BELIEVE THAT ON THIS ISLAND THERE COULD BE PEOPLE THAT WOULD PURPOSEFULLY ENDANGER A PERSON!

I am a frequent customer of Table Talk and I would definitely give a different review if this unbelievable scenario did not happen.
As I was in the area to grab a bite, I decided to park my bike on a less busy street where Table Talk has its parking with a sign. I’ve noticed some parked bikes right after their parking space and decided to put mine there too. An employee of the restaurant runs to me and says I cannot park there. I take my bike and move it right on the intersection between the main road and the street where Table Talk is located. There are no signs of a private parking, there are no “no parking” signs, a car can comfortably drive past my bike, so I decide to leave it there. The employee clearly saw me park it there and did not follow me to tell me that, again, that is not a place where I can park.
In the meantime I browse around and decide to grab a bite in a place not far away.
After eating, I decide to go check quickly on the bike before taking a walk. When I get there I see that there is a smaller bike (a red Scoopy) parked behind mine being moved out of that street by the employee in the photo. I start walking faster to move my bike, as I assumed mine would be next.
As I walk closer and closer to the bike, I see the employee in the photo getting down to my scooter and starting to open the little cap on the tire to deflate it. WHO WOULD ON PURPOSE DEFLATE THE FRONT TIRE OF A STRANGERS BIKE TO PUT THEM IN DANGER OF FALLING AND HURTING THEMSELVES AT THE FIRST CORNER? !
I run towards her and start asking what the hell she was doing. In response she starts yelling that it’s private property and that it’s forbidden to park there (no signs or writings anywhere close).
I follow her as she gets back to the restaurant and demand to speak to the manager. Nobody is able to tell me where the manager is and all refuse to tell me the name of the employee who I caught red handed just in time.
Eventually she leaves the restaurant in a hurry, as advised by somebody over the phone. I check that my scooter is still in riding conditions and leave shortly after.

I find what I witnessed today utterly disturbing. I won’t go to the police because I caught the employee in time and because they clearly wouldn’t bother investigating in the matter on behalf of a white tourist. Unfortunately, I did not react in time to film her in action, otherwise it would have not gone down so smoothly.
But I can promise this: if I see any of the Table Talk employees doing it again to another scooter, I will film it and go straight to the police department to explain that it’s a practice that they apparently do very often.

I am so disgusted by the actions of this employee for not only damaging a stranger’s property, but doing something that can be well enough to literally kill a person.
All the staff of the restaurant should be ashamed of themselves and the employee in question should face some serious consequences, at least from the management.
