Surf Guiding in Bali

Ketut is the best surf guide you can have! He selects spots for your level, he has aleays eyes on you so you feel safe at all times and gives you the best tips and advice for your surf level to progress in no time! I cannot wait to have other sessions with him when I come back in a couple months!

Ketut came recommended to me by a friend and I was so impressed! He took so much care in making sure I was feeling safe and comfortable, and really wanted to make sure I was getting better. I loved my lessons and felt like I improved so much during our time together. Can't wait to come back to Bali again and surf some more with Ketut:)

My girlfriend and I surfed with Ketut for one month and we went from beginner to intermediate surfers during this time.

Ketut took us to surf spots all over Bali and kept encouraging us to improve every time and in different conditions and wave breaks.

He can pick you up in his car and has multiple surfboards for every level.

If you are looking for a really good surf guide here in Bali, Ketut is your man. I was really afraid before my first surf lesson, but Ketut has a talent to take away your fears. He drives you to locations, that suits best for you and he really knows what he does. I was lucky that I had my first surf lesson with Ketut, and I can definitely say, that this is not gonna be my last one with him:)

In terms of surfguiding in Bali, Ketut is the man! He is very patient and has such an amazing way to explain, what makes him an excellent surfguide. He has many years of experience as a Surfguide and a big knowledge of the spots. I went surfing several times with him, because I've always been extremely happy. I’ve had Ketut for just something short of 3 weeks as my surf guide in Bali, and must say that I was absolutely satisfied with all aspects of my time with him.

Ketut has surfed in Bali for many many years, he’s an excellent surfer but above all, his teaching and guiding techniques are beyond any that I’ve experienced before from instructors around the world.

First of all, I think it was a huge plus to be able to have sessions with him one on one, as he could focus all his efforts on bettering my skills and picking the right spot for the conditions and my abilities.

Ketut identified quite quick what my way of learning is, and pushed me just the right amount to achieve the best I could. For the first time, he took me to reef and rock breaks, which I was so worried about but he was on guard 150% and it has helped to build my confidence massively. He’s also had me surf bigger/ steeper waves than I have been to date and somehow made me feel like it’s no big deal, and eventually I finally managed to surf waves sideways like the pros. All of this has been a massive achievement in my personal book, and one that I’m so grateful for to Ketut that he’s helped me achieve this.

He’s also very knowledgeable & shares his knowledge as to the weather, its effect on the conditions, the way to read the swell & the waves etc.

Other than that, he’s super nice, funny and up for any fun- like my karaoke in the car on the way back from surf.

I’d definitely recommend Ketut for surf lessons and/ or guiding in Bali- wherever you’re staying coz he’ll come pick you up & will also drop you off.

Ketut is the best surf guide I found in Bali, from the first time I meet him and he introducing him self his experience since 10 years he was doing surf guiding and another 5 years as head coach in ones of the biggest surf camp in Bali, from that I know, he is good surf guide, he was taking care of our guests very careful and make sure our guest happy and get some good experience in surfing, for me Ketut is fully recommended surf teacher,

Ketut has multiple years of experience being in charge of the surf guide of the biggest surf camp in Bali and is thankfully now offering his own package.
