I've rented surfboards in many different countries, but this is definitely the best shop I've rented. The quality of the surfboards, the friendliness of the staff, and the best shop. I recommend it. I will definitely rent here again when I travel to Bali.thank you very much.

This is the best place to rent a surfboard, Heru is the best person on this island. We've rented boards here for 5 years in a row, it's a very nice place and nice people. If you want to meet real Balinese people, come here!

I ordered a custom board bag of which I shared the size of the board with the shop. The bag came and was WAY too big. Heru offered to exchange the bag for a new one, which at the time I was delighted to hear him stand behind his service.

Unfortunately the next bag was also too big. I don't quite understand how because I provided the full dims. In the past, I had board bags made that fit EXACTLY. Clearly this shop is not capable or willing to do this.

I then took time out of my day to bring the actual board to ensure they can take the measurements they needed or trace an outline as I have seen other shops do. The staff was clueless.

It's worth noting that I did not request to exchange this bag, but was completely willing and expecting to pay for the new one. I left the old one there with tape to mark off the exact shape of my board. The staff didn't know what they were doing, they looked at me like I was crazy to expect a custom board bag to actually fit the board exactly.

Heru then messaged me, stating he would rather refund my money than do the job correctly, even I said I'm ok to pay for the new bag. Best to find another shop that takes pride in what they do and respects and appreciates its customers.
