Sun Island Hotel & Spa Kuta

Pre-note. The boy on the desk from Java did his absolute best but had absolutely no authority to help or change my situation. He speaks perfect English and is so so lovely. HOWEVER. I told them three times at the desk that I was getting badly bitten in my room in the first 10 mins of checking in. They said they'd send someone up to spray my room. Being polite I didn't make a big deal about it.went out for a while came back and same thing again. Immediately getting eaten so I called again. The night desk guy was on at this stage. Eventually I got tired waiting and thought I'd manage to sleep and hide under the covers. But no.the little buggers continued. Rang reception several times overnight (I was in and out of sleep) and they said someone was on the way to spray my room. Never showed up. Woke up at 5am totally covered in welts including my eye which swelled closed. Went to reception (again). Told to wait until 9 for a manager to come. Who never came.apparently having a day off. I travel allot in Asia and I understand there's bugs but this room was like a mosquito breeding area. Please be careful. They should have changed my room. Also. Breakfast jaysis what a lazy effort. I was there at 7am and everything was stone cold. The stuff must all be cooked the night before and aside from the omelettes its a Asian breakfast: which I enjoy but I prefer stuff cooked a bit fresh. Ok rant over.best thing about staying here is a little warung across the road down a dirty little lane. BEST chicken and lalapan ever ever. Super friendly family

His prices are very excellent
It is surrounded by many shops that meet the needs of tourists, and there is also an excellent and luxurious mall next to it
The lobby is very nice and unique
The room is well lit and has a balcony overlooking the pool
Breakfast comes with the room and cannot be purchased without it. It is mostly Indonesian food and does not take into account the requests of foreigners

I have been to BALI 25 times and this was the best holiday we have ever had. The management and staff were nothing short of brilliant. Anything we asked for was no trouble. The service was very speedy. We are planning to bring the whole family next trip. The family deluxe suites are fit for a king and queen. A big thank you to Angaar and staff.

Nice hotel. Helpful staff. We were looking for hotel after we come to kuta Cox the hotel we booked was nice nice and service was very bad. Once we found sun island, we left the other hotel even we paid for one night we left the other hotel right a way. Sun island hotel did a nice warm welcome. They gave us the room vary fast. The pool is very nice. We enjoyed it a lot. Brakefast is nice too. Most importantly location is in a good place. Although it's not right in the beach but it's close by. It's also close to discover mall and many walking distance restaurant. If the ture service rested, they provide ture with friendly and helpful driver with a reasonable price. Very satisfied and highly recommend. Love it.

Worse hotel ever! Staying for 4 days 3 nights and i’m dissapointed! There’re stain all over the bed and the towel! I asked them for a new towel and they gave me the same old and stained towel! My family given up to complain to them! We have dust all over our clothes hanger, the furniture and everywhere! Don’t start me on the worse breakfast! I ate for the first morning and never coming back to have breakfast! Rather eat something else in Kuta than their breakfast! Is this really a 4 star hotel? The only great thing in this hotel is their lobby NOT RECOMMENDED! Go search for another REAL 4 star hotel

Good location. In close proximity to restaurants and shops. Walking distance to the beach. We got upgraded to a deluxe room. Quite decent for this priced hotel. Just not much natural lighting in the room.

Bagus tempat nya, dan sangat gogreen kaga ada akua botol, kalo mo minum di sediain di dispenser, di kamar ada teko air.

Great to the swimming pool and bedroom nice to see that it is a wonderful beautiful sun island hotel.

All people are so nice, the Hotel very clean, the foot so good. It was a very nice time to stay here

Hotel with eco-friendly concept. Only few minutes walk to Discovery Mall, Pasar Seni and other entertainment spots in Kuta and Legian. Bathroom amenities are nice and well made.

Strategic location, good hospitality, applied green living, nice breakfast, clean room but some bath room need to be repaired.

Very nice hotel in the main strip had an annoying dog barking in courtyard next to one side which barked all night pity the owners dont show some manners and put away a night as hotel is where of problem to the staffs credit moved us to a large double suite room away from dog which was great good breakfast and nice pool and great staff

I stayed here when I was in Bali. Excellent service and good ambience. Buffet breakfast was super good. Pre-booking is suggested during season. Daily cleaning of rooms is another feature.

This was our second time back and it wasn't as good as the first.

Staff are amazing, but scared to tell people to get out of the pool when it's extremely loud and echos to each room.

Other guests are genuinely retarded when it comes to decency of not being loud at 6 in the morning or 12/1/2/3/4 in the morning (again everything echos into rooms).

Room has a bad smell every now and again, and it is a baddd smell!

Found a baby cockroach each day in the bathroom.

I don't think we will be back here again sadly. Only thing this place has going for it is the staff.

Honestly won't be back to Kuta every tourist is so rude and so incompetent at using a narrow footpath fit for two people walking opposite directions.

This hotel is very strategic.close to entertainment center and Kuta beach.we only need to walk around 1km to visit Kuta beach and mall.and in front of this hotel there are souvenir sales
