Suka Espresso [Ubud]

Relative to other places in Ubud, Suka Expresso is definitely one of the better choices for all day brunch.

We had a dragonfruit bowl, morning green bowl, chilli bae and a flatwhite. Good flavour and presentation.

Defo good food and good services!

Good drinks and lunch, but unfortunately I don't recommend going there during the day because it's not a closed café, so there's no air conditioning, and it's quite hot. In the evening it should be much better

Great Gluten Free pasta, lovely helpful staff
I (coeliac) loved my gluten free vegetarian pesto pasta & husband loved his chicken quesadillas & apple pie. Chilli margarita was also tasty and cheaper than most places.
We will be back!

Staff: super lovely & welcoming
Service: free water & fast service (don’t need to wait long for your food)
Vibe: it’s quite hectic and lots of people, but if you want to socialize it’s perfect.you only allowed to stay for 90 mins tho & no laptops allowed at pick times. So it’s not a place to be working on your laptops for hours
Food: is super tasty and delicious but the portion size varies every day and sometimes my smoothie bowl was so little that I was not worth the price (you can see the different service size in my pictures)
My favorite was the chocolate smoothie bowl super creamy and tasty.

Summary: nice breakfast spot if you don’t need to work and if you are okay with spending a little extra

Food is great. Good vibes. Breezy. Tasty. Healthy. I always leave feeling content and full. But today I am giving a special shout out to the staff who helped me find my phone. DESPITE BEING HELLA BUSY, they searched the place and even checked CCTV. Turns out I left with the phone.it was somewhere else the whole time! Lame story conclusion: I will keep supporting this business - the staff are amazing. Thank you Suka!

I absolutely recommend Suka Espresso to start your day. It is something of a magic which happens by the hands of these people who work here. Everything tastes so good.and truly every dish and drink is well prepared and thought out. Come, visit, enjoy and smile.

Makanan dan minuman sebenernya oke sih, cuma pegawainya ga ramah sama sekali dan terkesan rasis. Td siang saya kesana sm pacar saya dan di sekeliling kami turis asing semua. Semua pelayan ramah bgt ke turis asing kecuali ke saya atau pun pacar saya.

Tolong dong ditingkatkan lagi pelayanannya, masa rasis gt sih sama lokal. Saya coba tanya pesanan saya yg belum datang saja jawaban salah satu pegawai ketus sekali. Astagaaa… kapok banget

Ini mungkin salah satu kedai kopi paling laris di Ubud. Ia terletak antara Museum ARMA dan Monkey Forest. Anak-anak saya suka sekali dengan kedai ini. Cocok buat sarapan dengan kopi, smoothies, juice maupun makanan vegetarian. Lebih baik naik kendaraan umum karena tak ada tempat parkir. Kita tentu harus hargai hak pejalan kaki. Daerah ini sempit, bila parkir, pasti akan makan trotoar.

Our favorite breakfast/brunch spot in Bali! We ate here twice, every dish and side we tried was very delicious. The coffees that we ordered were the best that we had on our 2 week vacation in Bali! The staff was very friendly and quick. Definitely worth coming to if you are in Ubud!

Suka has become one of my favorite cafè's in Bali.

We've been to both locations and they have hands down the BEST coffee I've come across in Bali, and easily top 5 from anywhere I've visited.

The food is wonderful as well. Its extremely tasty, high quality, and very reasonably priced. I wish the portions were slightly bigger, but I tend to desire larger portions whenever I eat out, so I'm often dissatisfied out here in Bali where their portions tend to be average everywhere except at Warungs.

Do yourself a favor and check this place out.

Too bad I didn’t discover this place sooner, I would have gone daily. Eggs Benedicts were amazing! Cappuccino with oat milk was excellent. The best breakfast & coffee we had in Ubud. Not overpriced…. Not a “tourist trap” place. Lots of staff on the floor, smiley & courteous service, fast food service nice atmosphere with good chill music.

Apart from matcha latte which was the lowest quality I’ve ever had. Avoid matcha latte. Coffe was fine as per my friend’s opinion.
P.s. Good quality matcha is vivid/bright salad colour. This one was very dull mossy colour which tells you its the lowest quality. Very very weird taste.

We had the coffee negroni, espresso martini, calamari and fried cauliflower. The food was okay, the espresso martini was pretty good with a strong coffee taste. Alas the negroni made us cringe and we had to force ourselves to finish it. They also served us the wrong drink at first, then tried to get us to stay for pasta night and live music which felt a bit weird since we were having snacks at 4.30pm.

Immer busy mit hippen Touris und im Vergleich sehr hochpreisig, aber am Ende ein sehr schöner Laden mit freundlichen Mendchen, zu dem man gerne immer wieder herkommt. Zum Frühstück definitiv besser, als zum Dinner, aber besonders im Etage 2 bei Livemusik kann man auch sehr entspannt einen Drink nehmen.

The place is a bit more expensive, but I liked the milk shake, unfortunately not the pancakes, I was expecting a thin pancake, not an artificial bun that smells like baking powder. I recommend making a classic thin pancake with mixed banana in the dough or adding cottage cheese and cream if you want a fluffy dough. I also don't like the service tax, everywhere in the world it is a maximum of 10% and the customer has the right to decide whether to rate the service and good food.with this you take away his freedom to decide. I didn't like the pancakes, I ate 1/3, I paid 68 rupees + 20% tax.the employees are to be paid by the owner of the business, not me from the tax service, I have no idea where some local businesses got this fad, 10% would be fine with me, because otherwise what is a service fee more expensive than coffee and local food

Excellent coffee, yummy food and nice atmosphere. A great spot for relaxation and chatting. Water is free and there is a very good wifi. Modern spot, mostly young customers. Staff is very friendly. Try the breakfast and/or juices and of course the coffee!

I took hot cappucino and monkey business smoothies. Also i share mexican chicken salad.
The mexican chicken salad need more bold in seasoning and mexican character and it just okay.
Service wise, need more attentive, lot of the server pretend didn't see the guest (my wife raise hand many times but no one saw until one of the trainee see us and taking the order), high five to the valet staff

Sorry to give this rating because i got symptom headache and vomiting in the evening (arround 6 hours after finishing the cappucino and the monkey business smooties). Please check the freshness of your beverage ingredients

Nice place? Jujur vibes disini enak ditambah makanan dan kopi yang menurut aku enak apalagi buat smoothies bowl nya untuk range harga tersebut murah dan banyak banget toppingnya. Waitersnya juga ramah dan responsif!

We came here due to the cafe being visibly so busy! The staff were really attentive and helped park our scooter. The menu has many options catering to vegetarians and vegans too. They also provide free water which is a massive plus in Bali! The only down side was that they charge a lot more then the smaller authentic places in Ubud.

Food is delicious but pricy and it's the nosiest cafe I've been to because of its location on the busy road. Worth a visit, if you are willing to pay and don't mind a less peaceful atmosphere than other cafes.
