Stellar Capsules Seminyak

Great value for the price, great location
Comfy bed and really nice staff special mention to Erin for being so kind and make my staying feels like home

What a great hostel! Only stayed for one night, but would have loved to stay longer if I had found out about Stellar Capsules hostel earlier. Located right in the center of Seminyak and in walking distance from the beach, this hostel is the perfect place for backpackers and discovering Bali. All beds come with a locker and a curtain which is an extra plus for privacy in a shared room.

Above all, the staff is amazing and provided me a welcoming atmosphere right from the start. I wasn’t able to book online due to missing internet connection on my side, however it was no problem to book on arrival. Special thanks to El who showed me around in Seminyak and recommended a great place to try Indonesian food. She literally takes care of everything you need. Can’t think of a better hostel experience in Bali.

Great hostel. Fun social, met many great people in my stay here. Such a good experience to start out Bali. Staff is so friendly and helpful too.

The hostel is kinda of a travellers’ trap, because:

1. The 4 bedroom is within the 16 bedroom. So you pass the other room to enter this one.
2.16 bedroom has no lockers.
3. I was about to leave the hostel and last minute I extended. I discovered that the next potential traveler would stay on my bed linens. They do not change bed sheets!
4. The pool needs regular cleaning and they do not really take care. I swam and when got out, I had sand everywhere
5. People at the reception make a lot of questions, so I was feeling like giving an interview each time I was entering, even if I am pretty sure that they have a good purpose and actually they are kind!
6. There is no kitchen facilities, neither they serve food.
7. They rent scooters through a third party, which means you can’t bargain.
8. There are only 2 showers and 4 toilets for males. I have lost counting about hostel’s male capacity.

As per the above, I wouldn’t really recommend it, most importantly about the reason #3! This is unacceptable!

Loved the hostel, the staff and the rooms are very nice. The location is really good, very close to the city strip of Seminyak.

I stayed at Stellar Capsule for 4 nights. The staff are simply amazing! Huge shoutout to Erin for being the sweetest! All the staff were also very welcoming and friendly! I loved how the bathrooms and showers were constantly cleaned as that was a huge part for me! They had activities on some nights and a pool!

Mediocre stay, you get what you pay for. Showers and bathrooms only downstairs beside the pool. Door to rooms don’t lock no keys. Some beds didn’t have a locker. Grand location 10/15min walk to the beach. Pool is open 24hrs which is nice

I stayed at stellar hostel and had the best experience. The rooms are great and so is the location. Also very kind staff. Especially Astrid was so kind, fun and helpful. She took me around to see different parts of the area and also helped me make plans for the rest of my stay in Bali and even Lombok! She really made this stay extra lovely.

Quality hostel, nice beds and the staff are amazing. Special shout-out to Erin, can’t beat the place for the price.

This is my second time staying at stellar capsules! I love it here! The vibes are always so great! And the room and bathrooms are so nice and clean.
It has a great pool and alot of social space! Always meet the best people here and the staff are as helpful as ever!

Budget hostel in Seminyak, with very friendly, helpful staff and good facilities, clean showers, bunk beds and nice lobby + swimming pool. A plus for Erin (the reception), an obliging lady which makes your staying even more pleasant. As a result, after I went for 2 nights in Ubud I came back once again to Stellar Capsules! I really recommend this place!

Great atmosphere, location and welcoming and friendly staff! Big shout out to Astrid specially! I'm looking forward to coming back.

The Aircon in the dorm rooms don't work. I was sweating all night and couldn't sleep. I don't recommend this place

Had a very good experience solo travelling there: the facilities, the staff and the other clients were so nice. Hope to see you again:)

Super spacious beds and good location near shops/cafes/beach.
Staff are really friendly and they keep the place nice and clean.

Loved my stay here, the staff were so helpful. Help me book my all my ferries, activities and helped me get a good price. They even let me keep my stuff there when I wasn't even staying there till my flight in the evening.

Friendly staff with comfortable beds and strong AC. The showers had good pressure to them and were warm.

Only negative was that the bathroom was located downstairs with the dormitories being upstairs.

Comfy place with just 60+K a night through Agoda, cold beers are pretty cheap, clear swimming pool and clean beds. Oh and you‘ll also get a personalise locker underneath your bed. The staffs are friendly as well, highly recommended if you’re tryna find an affordable yet "proper“ hostel around Seminyak, just like its name, Stellar!
