Mega location right on the beach. Very stylish. Food incredibly good. Service is in no way inferior. It's definitely an insider tip for sunset, especially since there's no minimum fee like the other restaurants around.

Absolutely no atmosphere, cost was astronomical compared to the food which was less than ordinary, we ate better at a 3 star hotel diner, staff were incredibly difficult to understand and worse of all you would expect that you would at least get starters and entrees before mains, not everything all at once like we were treated, a huge letdown

I thought it would be better because it was W (laughs), but I was able to have breakfast in a calm atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was full of Japanese and Chinese food, including fresh sushi.

Fell sick after this meal, had food poisoning, vomit and diarrhoea. Totally spoiled my holiday. As a restaurant in W hotel 5 star hotel is a disappointment. Food was not up to standard. Service was warm and friendly.

This restaurant was a coincidence, so happy we ate here. Spices were just melting in our mouths. Everything is made with local products and most vegetables are from their own garden. So fresh and elegant taste, so definitely worth the price (a bit high for Bali)

Can’t rate this place high enough. We attended the buffet brunch on Sundays and we can’t say anything bad about it. Was perfect. We also used the pool at the W after the brunch. Great value for money.

Actually I would like to come back to Strarfish Bloo by W Bali again. This cozy restaurant are beyond my expectation. The yummmy dishes, I recommend it to everyone.

Dining in front of the ocean, attentive service, some spectacular dishes.

The grilled fish of the day was easily one of the, if not the, best I have ever tasted.
The swordfish with ink squid rice was also very flavorful, thin, well prepared.
Less excited about the snapper tartar and the zucchini.
Love the seaweed and spinach chips that they serve while you wait.

Best breakfast option if sour is how you like to start the day, with a vasr amount of options from sushi to fried rice.
Excellent americano.

Less exciting for lunch, same dinner menu. Avoid salads.

We had the best brunch of our lives at Stsrfish Bloo and our waitress Nita made it even more special. She took such good care of us. It was quite an experience in a gorgeous setting on the beach. The food is incredible and the service outstanding. Everyone made us feel so welcomed. An unforgettable experience- worth every penny!

Absolutely exceptional Sunday brunch here. Around $150 AUD for the bottomless alcohol and food combo but it was very well worth it. Special mention to the waiters who were so attentive and so friendly they really made the visit extraordinary.

The food was all good and couldn’t really fault anything from the satay skewers to the sambal, from the prawns to the sashimi and then to the desserts. Everything was delicious!

Will hopefully be back to bali soon to do this once agai.

This place has beautiful views of the beach as you dine. We had a buffet breakfast and coffee here. Was amazing

Omg! From the moment you drive into the place. It's an experience. It's a must. Food that goes for miles. Cocktails beach front. ️ The food was absolutely fabulous. Fresh and endless. Your waiters were onto it. Anything you need. You need to go and experience this place. Thank you, Starfish Bloo. We will be back.

Went for the pricey brunch on Sunday. It was certainly not worth the price tag.
Environment
- it was open air which meant you were eating in the humidity and heat. Not for me, but some may like this.
-view was lovely.
-Our waitress Winda was lovely.
- staff did not seat people until 12.01pm. There was a massive queue. For goodness sakes, seat people, get them a drink - it cheapens your brand having them all queuing all the way up the stairs until it opens. Manager running the booking/seating desk had a face that looked like thunder. She just ignored us until 12pm.
Food
- variety, but for the price, not varied enough. Soleil at Mulia is cheaper and MUCH better.
- meat was dry and curries flavourless.
- dessert fridge was off. The little petite fours that came from them were warm.
-snapper sushimi ran out by 1pm. It’s a 3 1/2 hour sitting, should not have run out.
Drinks
- variety was limited
-Soleil at Mulia has so many more options.
Overall, would not recommend this brunch. Not sure how it is rated so highly.

Let's understand something first - this 2022 Christmas Banquet was Rp 2m plus per person. Food was less than average. The meats were tough, full of sinew and drier than an Australian drought. Not much variety on offer and the deserts were probably brought over on a delayed Jetsar flight direct from a nearby Cheesecake Shop. More fool us, we should have just taken the chance on getting in to a Seminyak local warung for our Christmas celebrations. On saying this, the service of the wait staff was exceptional. Thank you Kadek - you know who you are.

Amazing Food & Great Service! Five Stars!

We had dinner at Starfish Bloo on 2 Jan. We were at first disappointed when we were told the lobster, coral trout, barramundi and crab were unavailable due to supply issues - a third of their menu was unavailable, including the seafood platter which we came to try. They could have informed us earlier.

We instead ordered the Indonesian styled squid, lemongrass and ginger grouper, spicy octopus and burrata salad (from Fire restaurant). The food was amazing, especially the octopus and grouper and made up for the lack of choices.

The service from the well trained staff was also commendable. In particular our waitress Riska - she was so professional, attentive and warm. The beach side table with views to the ocean was also lovely.

Staying at the W Bali, you can’t help but crave seafood by the ocean. We rocked up for dinner and even though half the restaurant had an event on, they still gave us a table. I think we asked to sit in the huge nest booths, but were told no, even though noone occupied them the whole night.

The restaurant glowed blue, the huge nest booths were a highlight of the decor. The beautiful aqua colours are beautiful. View of the ocean from almost everywhere in the restaurant.

The service was very prompt, we felt looked after throughout the meal. Balinese culture is so friendly anyway. Each dish had it’s own beautiful presentation like the shooter of sauce or the spilled fish basket of squid, lobster in the shell, wagyu with dipping sauce on a pebble etc.

Everything else we ordered we found deep fried, which ruined the lobster entirely. Here are our favourites;

Blue Crab Taco;; House-made “Tobasco”, avocado, bacon 155RP - super yummy! Crunch of the taco, generous sauce, generous amount of crab made for an amazing starter
Hot Stone Wagyu - Marinated in the dipping sauce then chuck it on the hot pebble infused stone, delicious

Food was very average compared to other places in Seminyak. The W looks a bit tired compared to other W hotels around the world. Service however was super.

The location is amazing, such a beautiful and scenic hotel. We went for a walk on the beach prior to watch the sunset and then ate. The staff were so friendly and walked us through everything and gave us recommendations. We picked our fish and it was amazing. Would recommend the barrumundi and steak and their desserts - the Bon Bons were incredible. Loved this place - such great vibes and scenic.
