Lovely place! A must visit in Ubud! Delicious vegetarian and vegan and raw options, freshly squeezed juices! Gluten free deserts! Amazing owner- artist, wise man, does good for humanity with Loving heart! Especially during pandemic, important to support such Conscious people and businesses

Got sick from eating there, also they overpriced me by 30.000 witch the gojeck driver had to pay for: (

Brown rice overcooked, pumpkin overcooked and probably keep for a few days cooked. Just the fish on the banana leaf has a little of flavour, but I guess it was put on the microwave.
Grilled vegetables, just grilled, not enough quantity for the price. Side avocado, 15k Rp for a small portion of an avocado.
Appetizer for yoga posies, not even tasty.
Starter and main dish not enough for one adult person. We finally have to go to eat to different place (That's the first time I have to do that)

I enjoyed the starter, mains and the drinks but not so much on the desserts. There is room for improvement.

10/10 value - most entrees are 50k-100k, and portions are a good size - definitely not small. For the quality of food you get, the portions, the environment, I have rarely seen as good value for a restaurant in Ubud.
10/10 food - I split two appetizers and ordered the pesto pasta with fish. It was rich and creamy, and the fish fresh and cooked to perfection. All organic. One of the best meals I had, so much so that a day later I may go back for lunch.
10/10 service - fast and friendly, and no uncorking fee! We brought a nice bottle of wine and they gave glasses and offered to open it for us.
9/10 environment - a bit dark (could use more lighting), but it's beautiful and you have the sense you're eating in a 5 star restaurant. It feels fancy.

I would recommend this as a dinner spot for anyone who wants a fine dining experience at a fraction of the price.

I can only recommend the egg dish as it was really nice and tasty. The so called spaghetti had this rubbery, chewy texture. Even tho the pesto sauce was quite nice, i couldn't bring myself to eat the spaghetti. The fish dish was something you should probably skip. The fish was kinda cold by the time it arrived on our table and it was just a strange combination of different ingredients in one plate. Luckily the drinks were okay.

We've only been there once for dinner and won't come back again. Our waitress wasn't friendly at all. We've tried the vegetarian pizza and the curry. Both weren't very tasty and the pizza was nearly cold as it arrived. After dinner we've also tried the dessert. The crêpes was cold too. One good thing about it is that you have free WiFi. We cant recommend this place.

Ambiance is great, but the service is underwhelming and unlike other places nearby they don't include service and taxes in the pricing. Expect another 15-20% randomly added to the bill. A tourist trap for the most part.

This place had a chance to be great. Lovely atmosphere and good size menu. My boyfriend who is not vegan really enjoyed the corn and sweet potatoes. I’m vegan and we chose this restaurant since Soma caters to raw vegans, vegans, and vegetarians. I’m vegan and ordered the grilled cheese with cashew cheese. The waitress repeated the order back and confirmed it was vegan. The dish came out and I took a big bite into it to taste real mozzarella cheese. This isn’t the end of the world, but for someone who has been vegan for many years, yeah it was a little upsetting. I work in the restaurant industry, I’m aware mistakes happen. But I guess I have a lot less patience for it at a place whose thing is literally veg food and serving a vegan real cheese just felt really inexcusable.

I have no idea why there are so many bad reviews for this place. The food is definitely outstanding, especially the raw vegan alternatives like the raw vegan Pad Thai. We had in total 6 dishes and all of theme were delicious and made from fresh ingredients. Also the tonics and smoothies were great. This is definitely one of the pricier places to get this kind of food but the quality is worth your money and the place is cozy and no it doesn't "smell weird" as other comments suggest. That said, if you are a Bintang tourist who is looking for salami pizza and beer, don't bother to come here - but if that's the case then Ubud is not the right place for you anyways.

Nice place friendly staff peaceful. Food was really nice.not large portions but thats fine. I got the ojas booster.that was amazing.but i think it had coffee so i fell asleep straight after. Meal had lost of flavour.definitely would visit again. One of the more pricey places.
Oh seems they also have ayurvadic food which is good.

Pizza is marketed as wood oven amazing pizza, but I was pretty dissapointed. Base is like pita bread.

This place is amazing. I just finished the buenas dias wrap.

Every part of the meal is engineered to satisfy all your tastebuds.

Reading the menu is like listening to your favorite music. Tasting the food is like fireworks in your mouth.

I just love that place. Johnny welcomes all musicians. He is always open to a jamming session at any time of the day. Their banana pancakes are excellent, I certainly couldn't tell that they were gluten free. They are willing to accommodate your requirements whenever possible.

Nice atmosphere, good food presentation but if you're hungry, 1 order is not enough unless you're a very light eater.

The food was at most average.
The portions were really really small and overall the experience was negative.
I ordered one pizza that looked like a pita wrap (I saw the wood fire oven outside so i had good expectations).
The food come exactly after you order it.
Doesn't look like is really fresh.
First negative experience in Bali. Other restaurants we tryied were amazing

The sandwich I had was a joke (2 eggs, 4 avocado slices on dry white bread, with 8 tasteless chips). The juma drink has been served at the current temperature. My girlfriend found a worm in her sandwich so we paid the drinks and just left.

First bad restaurant experience in Indonesia.

I've been here two times now and I really like it here. The prices are normal. A lot of vegan and veggie options! But they serve also fish. I ate a vegan pizza and it was really delicious! Liking the scenery here aswell, little lights in the evening makes it really romantic and cozy.
