Solaluna Beach Homestay

It was a lovely 5days stay with Solaluna Beach Homestay! They offer transit service from Airport! Krishna is a good driver! And he can also take you to the temples and other tourist sites at Amed! All the people in.the hotel are friendly and have a good spirit of service! Room is spacious and clean! I had a.beach front! It is a veru nice view! They also offer fishing activity upon request!

Modest entry but after that a place with spacious rooms and sea views. The balconies are also spacious. Nice swimming pool. Everything is new and well maintained and the staff has the usual Balinese friendliness so excellent.

For us, so far, one of the most beautiful places we have met in Bali. Gede, the owner, helps in every situation. The staff is absolutely friendly and helpful. On request, food and drinks can be brought to the room or to the beach. Ari, the fisherman, makes nice fishing trips or snorkeling trips.
Turtles can also be seen from time to time.
The caught fish is prepared for the guests in the associated restaurant. According to your wishes.
In Amed, Bali is still quite real. We have already got to know some places in Bali. Amed is and remains our favorite.

The best place I've stayed in Bali!
The room was super clean with a beautiful and clean bathroom.
We had a nice terrace right in front of the sea with two comfortable chairs, a table and even a small bed.
The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
We booked a snorkeling tour with one of the employees who is also a fisherman and in the evening we got a nice and delicious dinner on our terrace from the accommodation.
There is drinking water to refill and as much Balinese coffee as you want.
They offer a laundry service and also organized transport for us to our next stop in Bali with a driver.
I can recommend the accommodation to everyone.
I would happily book there again anytime.

Wonderful stay at Solaluna with caring staff!
We had a diving morning and had to leave early in the morning: they agreed to prepare breakfast for us earlier than expected and even brought it to our room! In the evening, when you are on the beach, they bring you a small juice prepared by them with fried bananas! We were even given a taste of Arak while they were drinking it with friends!
The rooms are simple but very clean, equipped with air conditioning, a small fridge, etc.the shower is quite funny because it drains directly into the stones (but you have a platform to shower)
The location is great because close to lots of small warungs, different activities offered AND 3m from the beach so you fall asleep to the sound of the waves!
Possibility to rent a scooter, equipment for snorkeling and one of the employees even offers to take you to the various snorkeling points! Possibility to do a Balinese massage on the beach for 1 hour for only 80k IDR (excellent quality)! Incredible experience that I highly recommend!
The breakfast offered is correct, with good portions.
In short, it is really a place that I recommend! You will not be disappointed!

I came to Amed after spending a week in Ubud and Solaluna Simpmy was the perfect place to be. I loved to finally be by the seaside having my room to overlook the beachfront.it is the most relaxing and peaceful place. The room is so spacious and I loved the balcony. Because of the privilege position of the Homestay you will be able to take some amazing photos both during sunrise and sunset.the staff is what really made the difference. Rajhu, the manager was absolutely lovely and helpful from the beginning till the end. I felt at home, simply you could eat breakfast, lunch and dinner while being in your sun bed at the beach, in your balcony or by their resto.they really know how to welcome people and they make sure you are spoiled. Had the most amazing fresh fish there and they make excellent Bali coffee and also they have a great selection of western coffee, which are so good too. Amed had stayed in my heart and I can't wait to be back and stay here again.thank you

Best place I have stayed at in Amed. The staff here are wonderful! They are genuinely friendly and welcoming and will assist you with anything you need during your stay. The rooms are far enough back from the main road so they are quiet (no noise from bars or motorbikes) and I had the best sleep of my trip here. Bed was comfy and air conditioning worked well. Breakfast provided was decent. Location is perfect with nice cafes and restaurants nearby. Scooters available for rent, snorkel gear available. Would happily stay here again.

Excellent stay for a week! We were at the sea front and were really enjoying the calm atmosphere of Amed. The accommodation is great! It’s simple, but very comfortable - we had everything we needed. And you really can’t beat the price! This is probably the best accommodation I stayed in in terms of price and value. We loved the breakfast and the hosts were very welcoming and friendly. We will definitely come back.

Best bang for buck stay and best welcoming service in our trip to Bali. We asked the owner for a fresh fish dinner. So he got us a big tuna and arranged for a dinner at our room. Best tuna I ever had, straight from the fishers. 4 of us ate for only 120k for the fish+100k tip and there was tuna to spare.

I came to ask about accomodation, because I saw on Booking very nice room with sea view there and excellent reviwes. An older guy, barely speaking English, showed me a cheap bungalow. When I told I need a room next week, he told "i don't know what free, come day when you need room". I hate this balinese client servis. Apparently they are not interested in new guests. Btw, there is construction in progress and it's pretty noisy.

Nice rooms and really friendly stuff. The fisherman was lucky in the morning and catched some fish. He offered it to us for dinner

Right on the beach, clean, great customer service and friendly staff who will help you with anything you need, I loved my room and the outdoor lounge areas.

Located directly at the beach. Wonderful snorkeling spot direct in front and than all the way to the right (called Pyramids).
Team was super friendly and helps to organize scooter, snorkeling gear and trips if needed.
Breakfast is served in your room if you like and is fully okay. Rooms are clean and nice and we loved the outdoor shower out of the bed you can see the ocean.

Sometimes it was not so clear who is working in that homestay so you meet a lot of stuff which could be good, but also frustrating if people don't know what you have already discussed with others before. But this is manageable.

Couldn’t be closer to the beach! The bungalows we booked were literally sitting on the sand as we enjoyed the fresh welcoming juice. Super friendly staff, clean rooms and close to all the restaurants/shops of Amed.

The view is absolutely stunning as the sun sets behind the volcano.

Also the owner helped us book our boat tickets to Gili when everything looked full on the internet so don’t hesitate to ask him about it

It’s a very friendly place right on the beach. We really enjoyed the ocean view bungalow and the excellent hospitality. They helped arrange scooter rental and a sunrise fishing trip. Would love to return.

Best location for snorkeling and watching seaturtles, and this 3 minutes away from the homestay.
Ari and Made (stuff) are really good mans and are always helpful (Motorbike, snorkeling stuff, transportation, service.).
Unfortunately we were only 2 nights in Amed.

We were staying at Solaluna for 7 nights and were absolutely happy. The rooms are clean with big bathrooms, a fridge towels etc.and leave nothing to be asked for. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly without being annoying and is always there to help.
The restaurant belonging to the Homestay not only serves amazing breakfast but also the best coffee in Amed and great lunch/dinner options.
During our stay they started building a pool and further improving the whole Homestay which we hope to experience during our next visit

We had one of the best experiences from our trip in Bali at Solaluna! Made and the whole team were very caring and kind. At our arrival they asked us what were the activities we wanted to do and they arranged everything for us, so they made sure our experience there was perfect. We even had a sunset boat trip with Made and after he invited us to try the fish they fished that day. It was excellent!
We booked the room with the sea view and it was wonderful.
Also the breakfast served from the Cup Resto was great.
So if you are planning to stay in Amed and do some snorkeling don’t hesitate to book your stay at Solaluna!

Solaluna is absolutely amazing! The staff here are very friendly and you will never walk in here without seeing smiling faces. Our room was very clean, and from our terrace we could directly see the beach and ocean. The restaurant of Solaluna, The Cup Resto, also serves very delicious food and excellent coffee. Solaluna is definitely the place to stay, if you’re looking for a cozy place to stay in Amed!
