Sitara Indian Restaurant ulasan
52Lovely food a bit expensive. Staff needs improvement they don't ask customers for top ups always busy talking among themselves. The place needs to be cleaned lots of insects around.
Extremely bad service, hair comes from the plain rise, after ordering water after exactly 20 mins they refill the water, no one takes your actions seriously like they are not willing to serve you with heart, the owner of the restaurant was absent & staff is very rubbish
I visited this place, was a single guy, went and sat, after some discussion among themselves they told there is no service (or something to that effect), and I see a family of 5 being welcomed and seated, I didn’t know what to do, got up and went to Punjabi Grill which is just beside, had amazing food and a fantastic experience, I wouldn’t go back to Sitara again
This has been my worst Indian food I have ever eaten! Super expensive but not even close to good, the nans were burnt, the chicken in the chicken butter was not even cooked it the tandoori oven and it didn’t have any taste, the gravy was tasteless end super sour. Just horrible!
I love indian food. This is not it. Probably a balinese fusion or something I don’t understand. Disappointment in the end.
What was I thinking going to an Indian restaurant in Bali: (
Really low quality Indian food and very very expensive. Chicken was not cooked properly and the tika masala gravy was tasteless. The naans were burnt.
Make yourself a favor and go somewhere else
2 soups = tomato one too much pepper, chicken and corn without taste, only two possible drinks = 330ml water and big beer, hmm in list there are all list of drinks. Rice not included to main food, extra 50k IDR, hmm. Otherwise main food wasn't so bad
I think worst Indian food I’ve ever had and many items on menu not even available. Service was unexpectedly bad and super slow, normally in Bali the waitresses are really lovely.
Better bring your own napkins they don’t provide anything except tissue
Better bring your own knives they only have butter knives
Little rude, not much service unless you flag them down
Food ok
Nan portion very small
Don’t expect help with the menu
They use exactly the same curry, in May case we ordered dum aloo and egg curry. Food extremely salty. Out of group of 12, two people never got their starter.
This place is worth zero star
Food is good, we ordered naan and batura, batura was oily, but chole was very good, prices are high
Being for the midlands in England we know a good curry, we have empty plates so that only means one thing
Absolutely lovely
Change bloody timing! And staf!
No need to ask for bill! They will get it and kick you out!
No taste in the curry.ordered an received the food in 5 mins. Not worth the price and quantity. Avoid if you can.
Food tasted good overall, but not much else’s positive to say about this place, small portions, slow to get service, juice was water-down to an extreme, it should be called flavored water, serviced was poor but mainly inexistent and low stock, most items on the menue were unavailable.
Visited Sitara for lunch on our last day of our 2 week Bali holiday. Exceptional customer service, the host Ms Sonia Kaur personally paid attention was warm, friendly and welcoming. Staff courteous, good food, good ambience. When you are longing for Indian food Sitara is the place to go for good Indian food. We understand the difficulties in offering authentic Indian food in a foreign country and we appreciate the efforts Sitara is making to provide satisfying experiences. The biggest draw point is Ms.kaur and her genuine desire to make customer feel comfortable and served the best. Highly recommend Sitara to every visitor to Ubud Bali for an authentic satisfying experience.
Water glass was broken partially, it could have cut the lips while drinking. Papad is chargeable, no tandoori roti, no paneer vegetable, no egg, no icecream. Besides, the food was tasteless, and the staff was disinterested to attend. Sorry Sitara, it's a genuine review.
This was the WORST Indian restaurant. Guys please don't visit this restaurant, it I'd awful. The food was disgusting, stale and so smelly. We ordered veg raita which felt five days old, stinking and looked like puke and the dal makhni was cooked in TOMATO KETCHUP? ! And the colour of every dish was so off as well. Furthermore, the entire restaurant were covered in lizards and when asked to do something about it, they did not even care. I made a big mistake going here. I feel like I'm gonna end up in the hospital tomorrow, my family and me, everyone's stomach is hurting so bad. I really hope this restaurant shuts because it had ruined our entire day. I am requesting all of you for your own good, PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE.
Amazing place to visit if you crave Indian food, the taste is really amazing. Absolutely loved it.
Very bad service
There are only 2 people to handle the entire restaurant and everything is sweet all the sabji's paneer tikka and everything
Sabji they give half an hour prior and roti after half an hour
Very very baddd
