Sarong

Really good food, ambience, and service. The hopper with snapper in coconut milk was excellent as were the kulchas. The aloo tandoori was slightly bland but still not bad. Nan and black dal were great too. The pavlova was quite dry and when we gave this feedback, they removed it from the final bill. The other dessert we ordered with honeycomb etc was really good.

Awesome overall experience. They have a variety of cuisine from across South Asian countries. Well presented & delicious. Plus they have a full veg menu as well. All this at good affordable or pricing. 8 of us ate our hearts out with a few beers all for 110 USD!

Absolutely the best restaurant in Bali, if not the world. The food here was exquisite and more than reasonably priced. Would come back to Bali just to visit Sarong and Hujon again

Another great restaurant for dinner in Seminyak!
This restaurant is outside so its still quite hot if you go around 6pm. But it gets cooler as night proceed, therefore recommend you to book for a spot after 7pm!
Food and drink selection is great and all the entree and main we ordered were delicious.
Service is very good, waiter was always in presence but not pushy at all even we took awhile to order our food. After 3 drinks, 1 entree and 1 main for each, it was IDR 800k/person. May not be the best deal for Bali, but not complaining at all!

Outstandingly great food. This is my most favorite place in whole of Bali.

Even If you are a vegetarian you are gonna have plenty of options to choose from, they have an exclusive vegetarian menu.

The staff is really amazing too.

Lastly the place is extremely well priced.

Love Sarong! Thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We’ve come twice already and intend to return once more before leaving. The Kashmiri chicken, tandoori potato, yogurt with pomegranate were all delicious. We have yet to try a dish we don’t love.

Sarong is a beautiful restaurant. On my last visit to Bali, Sarong was one of my favourites, however this time around the food was disappointing. We ordered fish curry and eggplant curry with naan, they both lacked flavour to the point where we didn't even finish half. A shame as the prices are much higher than others in Seminyak. I wouldn't return after this experience.

Summary: Absolutely delicious food, romantic ambience. Slightly pricey by Bali standards. Service was good but a tad slow.

Sarong is a fusion Asian restaurant, influences are mainly from Indian cuisine, the curry is fragrant but not overly spicy. The grilled fish was excellent.

Overall its worth a visit, the service was a tad slow and its off peak so the restaurant wasn't packed, our mains took almost an hour. If it isn't windy, it can get a bit warm.

Nice food but not service. Lack of patience when we asking questions for ordering the food. You cannot rush your guest at their first time to you.

Beautiful interior but the food's a little hit and miss. More interesting dishes include the Pulled Pork Wrap and the must try Crispy Pork Belly.

Another trip to Bali, and another special dinner out at Sarong.
A welcome taster, an exotic cocktail, in thie exceptionally well presented environment. Pleasent music in the background (we do go out to have conversation as well as food and drink!) and staff that are so attentive you feel more than at home with out intrusion.
And that's before you experience such innovative food, served in just the right serving sizes to leave you satisfied but not needing a wheelchair to get out the door.

Wish they resected customers more with the taxi service after the meal. After a long delicious meal it isn't great to end on a bad note with a terrible taxi driver. Use grab to get a price estimate. Don't think their taxi service will work out. Terrible way to treat customers after a 1 million meal.

The food was delicious at Sarong. Try the Chinese and Indian dumplings for a delicious treat. The butter chicken was delicious. But to get a few extra dollars from customers via the taxi service is miserable and ruins the entire experience. We will never be returning.

Cocktails amazing, food amazing, service amazing, ambience amazing - 5 stars in every way.

We had little trouble finding the place due to slightly incorrect location on maps and dark entrance but once you enter the gate, you are immediatly wowed by the courtyard and the ambience. We arrived early so waited on the bar, had a Basil Gin Sour and Smoked Whiskey Sour. Gin sour was really nice with broad flavors and celebrating basil. I love whiskey sour and this was a good, perfectly sour, but wasn't smoky for me. Probably would have been more smoky buy using heavily peated whiskey.

Food was amazing too, We started by having kachori pockets. This is a classic street food from india and served in a classy way. Stuffed potato and onion with tamrind sauce were really tasting well. Mains we had Aloo Tandoori and Daal Makhni with Garlic Naan. Every dish was cooked well and served in good quantities, its very hard to find good daal makhni outside india but these guys have nailed the flavors. Daal was nice and creamy while aloo was dry it had still much flavor and smokeyness that a curry was not needed. Bread was also cooked well.

I wish i could try desserts but we were way to full to eat anything after it. Highly recommended when you are in Bali for a nice dinner date or fancy dinner with friends. Will be back when ever i'm in Bali again.

Excellent ambiance. Great food and cocktails. The mohito was great. Butter chicken n garlic naans outstanding. The slow roasted lamb shoulder with the pancakes as starter was just outstanding. Service is excellent here. Probably one of the best restaurants in Bali.

This is our favourite restaurant in Bali and the food (if you don’t mind a little spice) is amazing. The service is 5 star all the way, upmarket with a wonderful ambience. Dress up nicely because they have a strict dress code.

First place we hit when arriving at Bali. Naturally is pricey but worth for the number 12 rated restaurant in Indonesia. Pleasant experience, lovely ambience and good food. We recommend the baked barramundi, crispy pork belly and the butter chicken. They're known for their curries so give that a shot for sure!

5 star restaurant. Food was incredible and well worth the price. Your pay double back in Australia and here you get better service. Would go back next Bali visit

Sarong was one of the restaurants that people highly recommended. I made a reservation a week ago and went there for a dinner.
Their signature menu; Sichuan crispy pork belly and chicken curry were amazing.
Price might be a little bit expensive compare to other dishes in Bali but it worths!
Good atmosphere and nice food.

A little bit hot inside and no AC were the only negative thing.

Indian food here is even better than Restaurants in India! Decor and service top class! Bit expensive but u get what u pay
