Sambal Shrimp Restaurant & Bar

The dishes were special and delicious. The seafoods were fresh. The vibe was chilling and full of local style. The staff were very nice and kind and warm. They recommended us good choices.

A gem in Seminyak! Delicious fresh seafood perfectly cooked. The peppered crab and char grilled octopus is to die for. Dwita our server was delightful. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Just amazing food, Started off at Basabasi downstairs for beer and wood fired satay, 1 dollar per skewer in 3,6 or 9 per order. Unique cashew satay and hot fresh sambol Chili stay skewers. Awesome. They we went upstairs to the amazing Sambol shrimp restaurant for fantastic Garlic Chili shrimp and Prawns, red snapper, etc but it's not for people who can't handle heat. Service was great and the prices are so cheap at exceptional quality. Chardonnay bottle was 40 aud or 8.50 a glad but worth it, BingTang Crystal was 4 bucks.

Delicious food and amazingly courteous and genuine staff. Really a five star experience and special thanks to Yeni who took the time to answer all of the many questions we had relating to the menu.

We tried the namesake dish of sambal shrimp and enjoyed it but weren’t blown away. I would’ve loved to try some other shrimp dishes if only we were staying in bali for longer. The grilled snapper was cooked to perfection and served with their sambal, which was truly tasty. I also enjoyed the shrimp bisque that had a rich umami shrimp flavour.

Whoa good food five star experience.

If you want to try shrimps this is the place. I would say the best of all. We tried garlic butter shrimps. It has all the beautiful mouthful flavors.

We also tried white snapper unfortunately they didn’t have red. But it’s was not as expected.

Shrimp lover just go for it;-)

발리 마지막날이라 방문했는데 맛이 그냥저냥 그래요. 짐바란 씨푸드가 양념은 더 맛있었네요. For the last day in Bali, I visited here but not tasty to be honest. But staffs are so kind and nice. Seafood in Jimbaran was better.sorry.

As the name states, its all about shrimps.dishes are great with the exception of the noodle bowl.the grilled fish is a surprise find and is grilled to perfection.grilled on the skin but soft meat inside

One of the best places to eat in Seminyak. We had one of their signature shrimp dishes which was very flavoursome. We also had the grilled red snapper which was cooked to perfection and still moist and not dry at all. They provided the best service I have been to in a long time. Competitive pricing which make it even more worth while. My favourite part of the night was the traditional dance show while eating our dinner. Topped off a great experience. Decor and wood carvings were also a great spectacle.

Some of the best seafood we have ever eaten. Service was so friendly and efficient. Will definitely return on our next trip. Can not recommend highly enough ****** 5 Stars for Sambal Shrimp.

Incredible experience with a zen garden setting and amazing food to boot. I would put this in my top 20 restaurants of all time based on its quality of food and value for money. The service was also top notch. They spent time to explain the menu and the differences in sambal chillies that really helped.

Amazing amazing amazing. We were looking for a place to celebrate our anniversary and wanted a place that had great ambiance, service and tasty food. The staff here were so friendly and professional from beginning to getting a taxi in the end and taking photos for us.
The ambiance is romantic with indoor and outdoor seating.
We ordered swimmer fish, steam shrimp and grilled bass. They were out of most crab options. The steam shrimp is not to be missed. The fish was a bit fishy for some reason.
They also offered a variety of drinks. At one point a performance of Balinese dance was shown.

If one loves spicy food and sea food, this is the place where you can find them both bonded and immersed into a local traditional atmosphere. Plus they provide a short programme of Balinese dance show. Unfortunately the restaurant is placed in a crowded commercial area, but that is the only cons I could find. Anyhow, I do recommend it!

Insanely good food. This is a MUST in Seminyak. Ordered the sambal prawns, grilled octopus tentacles, and the spicy octopus with chilli (jontor). Service was excellent from Laras! I returned for another meal within days and ordered more sambal prawns and a snapper that was grilled to perfection! This is a real hidden gem in Seminyak.

One of the best sea food restaurants I have been in Bali. The hospitality was amazing, the food was really tasty and totally worthy for the price. Thanks for the hospitality Team Sambal shrimp restaurant.

Amazing experience! Delicious food, great staff, excellent service and beautiful scenery. We loved the ambience a wonderful mix of traditional Balinese and modern contemporary. We dined in the back next to the koi pond, what a surprise when you walk off the street up to the second story and find this gem of a spot. We enjoyed everything however if you like prawns / shrimps this will be your foody heaven and the crab lava soup was to die for. Great cocktails menu too. There's a traditional Balinese dance performance every hour, that was a pleasant and enjoyable surprise. Highly recommend Sambal Shrimp, you won't be disappointed

We went couple times during our stay in Bali to Sambal Shrimp as it was the nearest seafood restaurant to our villa with good reviews so we thought to give it a try too. I was most impressed by their impeccable service, right from the entrance until we left. Staff are so warm, attentive and friendly, making us feel very welcomed when we were there. There is a good selection of seafood on the menu, especially shrimps and octopus which are absolutely delicious, everything from soups, salads and appetizers to main courses. Besides shrimps and octopus we also ordered crab, squid and red snapper. The garlic crab is fresh and yummy! This may not be the cheapest seafood restaurant in the area but seafood is very fresh and extremely tasty and well-worth every cent spent! Highly recommended if you are in Seminyak!
