Should be a quick night on the way but conclues on a Really good 3days stay at the bamboo house, the place is perfect, quite and peacefull, nice point of view around and so much cooler at night with the altitude. Thanks Putu and your family really appreciate the proximity, felt like being part of it and not just staying in a indépendant room of an « hotel ». Highly recommend few nights there to see an other face of Bali less touristic!

We had a great time with Putu and his family where we were able to chat with them. Learn how to make small bamboo baskets and coconut oil in the traditional way. The setting is really pleasant surrounded by nature. Even though it is quite far from the main roads, we were able to reach points of interest in less than 25 minutes by scooter. Unfortunately we did not sleep in the bamboo house, but in the room next door with a beautiful view nonetheless.

I stayed in the big bamboo house and it was the coolest building I've ever stayed in. If you've ever wanted to spend the night in a treehouse this is perfect, with great food brought to the room, the beautiful jungle all around, and an unforgettable stay.

One of my favorite accommodations in Bali. The standard room is spacious. The bed is comfortable and the location ideal. We feel good there. The meal served on site is excellent, especially the soup. And the pancakes in the morning are the best in Bali, really. Thanks again

We stayed 3 nights in the village up on the hillside 45 minutes drive from Padangbai. Comfortable climate due to the altitude. Lovely bamboo bungalow with a terrace looking out to jungle like garden. The host Putu was very helpful and organised scooter trips to view of Agung, waterfalls and Sideman. Highly recommendable. A welcome break from the heat of Padangbai and the traffic chaos of Ubud and a genuine viewing of rural Bali life!

An awesome place with an unique experience. You stay in a complete build bamboo hat, in the middle of jungle. Here are two beds, a bathroom with a shower, refrigerator and of course a bamboo balcony. Lovely place to stay with the locals and experience some quietness. My partner and I stayed there for one evening before starting our night trekking. Received a warm welcome from the family that hosted us, who arranged for us to have a lovely dinner before resting for a few hours. Definitely recommend it.

I got a bungalow for a cheaper price because they build a bamboo house close to me. They only work from around 13 to 17 o clock so that you don't get disturbed in the morning.

Loved this place - pictures do not do it justice. Wonderful room with a great patio on the front. Terrific family. This gem is tucked away upcountry and is absolutely wonderful. As a working nomad I would have stayed for more than a night had the wifi been better. Otherwise this place is tip top - I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

This hotel was the cheapest in the area (9 USD), and it was satisfactory. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The stocked refrigerator in the room was nice. The hot water worked well. The hotel does not have a view of the volcano. The room was very basic.

Very quiet and friendly homestay. We were immediately welcomed as family. The rooms are spacious and the owner tried to accommodate any wishes we had. We will definitely stay here again when we come to this region. The breakfast is phenomenal. A+ recommended!

Really nice and welcoming place in a remote part of Bali. If you want to get away from the crowds and get to know the real bali, you should come here. There are 3 rooms (bungalows) available, big bed, closet, warm and cold shower, breakfast included, mini bar! The family is really friendly and helpful, they also offer to cook for you! We really enjoyed our stay here. It's quiet and relaxing and affordable! Check it out.

Such a lovely place. Really enjoyed our stay. Very friendly staff, delicious breakfast/dinners and so quiet. Every evening we spotted fireflies in the garden! We came by scooter during the night, pretty spectacular drive through the jungle. But having your own transport his highly recommended to visit waterfalls, Amed beach, temple etc.
