Sakura Guest House

Stayed for 6 nights, was perfect. Clean Rooms, Working AC, great location and excellent customer service (Komang was amazing). Highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Canggu.

Very nice, this place was exactly like the photos. Has good AC very comfortable bed and great location, also the staff and service was top tier. Komang was very friendly.

DO NOT BOOK. This accomodation has ‘renovated’ apparently, if you book and turn up they will charge you triple the amount. Also they took no responsibility for this they tried blaming it on me rather than apologising for their mistake, extremely rude. They also do not check bookings.com anymore, so if you book there, there might not be a room available even at triple the price.

I stay at Sakura only for one night, the place is good and the staff helpful and really nice. The location is perfect for berawa if you want to stay close to everything. Also the price for night is really affordable and good for what you get. Possibility to use the kitchen and fridge in the common area.

I don't know why, but these people think they need to pollute the villa by burning trash at night

Bli nya sangat ramah. Kamar cukup luas dan bersih. Kasur nyaman, ada guling, air panas lancar. Kamar sesuai foto juga. Ada dapur bersama nya, di dapur peralatan juga cukup lengkap (kulkas, kompor, teko air panas, alat masak, alat mkn). Harga juga terjangkau banget. Lokasi juga strategis. Akses mobil aman, tp parkir mbl terbatas. Motor bisa parkir di halaman hotel. Bisa sewa motor juga.

My friend and I stayed for 2 months at this beautiful guesthouse located close to everything you need in Canngu.
What really made our stay though were the staff, the lady and guy are so friendly, helpful and welcoming.
They cleaned our room every day and made sure we were okay during our stay, also helping us out whenever we needed anything.
I really enjoyed staying here and as I am a local to coming to this place I will make sure I stay there again as I felt safe and happy.
We were both truly so happy with our stay and would recommend to anyone visiting Bali.
We recommended to our friends visiting and they commented on how amazing their stay was too.

**READ BEFORE BOOKING ACTUALLY ZERO STARS**
We had a lovely check in with one of the staff @ 8pm after a late arrival.but unfortunately that's where any positivity ended. After aprox 2hrs, the power died in our room with constant loud beeping noise from the powerbox very close to bed. This beep'ed ALL night long, we got no sleep. This, along with no power (or Air Con) after flight from Australia.
We sent a sms to the nice staff member but no response this time. At approx 10am a different staff member arrived to man the desk, we went to speak with him. We were very tired but remained calm looking for a solution. Without any mention of money from us the first thing he said was "but your bags in the room, so you must pay".
This completely gobsmacked us, as this was not fixing any problem. We replied by saying we don't think it fair to pay for this room given no sleep, shower or power. He stated "you must get out now", even though this was 2 hrs before checkout.
I asked to speak with the boss (I actually speak Indonesian) hoping he may have a solution & maybe an apology? We explained we could not leave well before checkout time with no power in our phones as we ride bikes and need maps before long ride. The boss rang & was even more disrespectfully rude stating "ok I say you don't pay but get out now! " We refused to go until we had power in our phones. Instead of being offered another room we were made to feel this was our fault.
We were not offered another room for at least a shower or some power, we found working power in the kitchen but were continually harassed by staff to leave while we tried to get at least a little power in our phones.
We are very well travelled and accustomed to staying in 1star to 4 star accomodation and we understand things like this can happen but the way the staff dealt with this was nothing short of appalling.
We have since learnt they didn't pay the power bill as you pay in advance here in Bali, FAIL! = (

Sakura guest house is smacked dab in the middle of a small street in caangu. Upon walking in, there was a small parking lot for motorbikes or moped. There are a few guest houses (not sure about the total). However the guest room that I received was decent. There was a queen sized bed with ac above. The front door were sliding glass doors with a view of the garden outside. Outside there wasa small little drying rack. The guest house shares a kitchen with the other separate rooms similar to a hostel with plates, cups, and utensils and fridge. Inside there was a basic closet and mirror and the bathroom was basic as well. The only thing I didn't like about the place was that it had no amenities of shampoo or soap. Other than that it is a basic place to live cheaply.
