I love Ruth’s cakes.always bought cakes from them for birthday, Xmas, gift or hampers.but today we went for ice cream on cone and sundae ice cream.
Firstly there’s some flavors on display so I told the lady behind the counter that I want my Sundae with chocolate ice cream but she insist that I can’t do it, have to be with vanilla ice cream well I don’t like vanilla flavor.so we have little bargain here and there and at the end she said: they can do it with chocolate ice cream this time but next time I can’t have it with chocolate ice creams for my sundae? I mean.common! It’s ice cream and on your display there’s 6 or so flavors we can choose. And the lady behind the counter never smile or nice face for us.flat face: no response.after all its only ice cream either its sundae or not.just let the costumer choose what flavors they like to consume as long as the pay for it.and little smile and be kind can’t hurt anyone.

Looks like the majority of these reviews were from a few years ago so we went hoping to experience all the yummy cakes. We visited Ruth’s a few weeks ago in Jan 2021. The cake display looked really nice filled with many types of cakes. They also have cupcake options as well as mini cupcakes in case you didn’t want want a whole cake.

We tried the red velvet cake and the pumpkin pie slice along with a nice teapot. Our total bill was 73k which wasn’t too bad for the 3 items however, the slices of cake and splices of pie were quite thin. Since presliced, it felt dry. In addition, the cakes were a little on the sweeter side as well.

Perhaps if we were to order a custom cake it would come out nicer.

Let me start off by saying that I actually LOVE Ruth's baked goods. Their soft-baked chocolate chip cookies are melt-in-your-mouth heavenly, and their cakes are rich, flavorful and has the ability to make me feel at home. I've been a long time fan.

That said, I went to Ruth's last night at around 9: 00PM with the intent to buy some cupcakes and cookies and got the RUDEST service I've experienced in a long time in Bali. Not only was the lady behind the counter extremely sullen, she refused to give us the menu to look at, ignored our questions about cupcake flavors, until after the fourth time we asked, she mumbled something so incoherent I had to laugh and ask why her service was so bad. She didn't get the memo and returned to ignoring us. Needless to say, I left without cupcakes and in a pretty bad mood. Why the need to be so rude? We wanted to give you our money! I understand it was late and maybe she was having a bad day and she was probably tired, and I get that. But we also came in only wanting cupcakes and cookies to go.

VERY disappointed and pretty sure I won't be going back anytime soon.

I adore their desserts.their cakes are amazing. Their cream cheese oh God, forget about diet. Diet starts never in the face of Ruth’s.
However, biodegradable takeaway packagings are urgently needed instead of single use plastic carriers. That’s all and this place will be heaven.

Quality of food is not bad but for what you get, a little pricey though. But really Ruth, when someone orders a long black coffee for takeout, don’t put it in a paper cup that is only half full of coffee! Use smaller paper cups, or fill it to the top. What an embarrassment!

Went here for both lunch anf a coffee. Great staff. Pleasant seating upstairs with a view. Beautifully mADe food, especially the cakes. Recommended

Always love spending time at Ruth's. This new place is beautiful. I love the interior design and of course the food is delicious at a convenient price.

Good place to have a chit chat with you close friends. Big portion of cesar salad and I love the blueberry cheesecake.

Very super last minute need of some b'day cakes/muffin. Coming from far checking their website and it's open at 7am. Absolutely delighted with their service. Cakes without decoration = tailor made deco in a minute. The staff knew what I want while I didn't. The boxes can be easily open and doesn't look box-ish. Very quick effective one stop cup cake/cream cake shopping solution. Totally happy. From a last minute bad organised mother

Karyawanya jutek, via telfon gak ngerti, pdhl saya suruh gjk mlh gjk ya d suruh datang, sedang kan gjk ya posisi jauh, biar cpt drever gojek ya nelvon mlh d siurh dtg k resto ya, payah pegawai ya.

I have tried to call Ruths to order a cake, tried all the numbers advertised even left message on FB and there is never an answer.
Ruth if you read this pls tell your staff to answer phones and msg

Phoned to order Australian Meat Pie, I speak Indonesian and the staff did not know what I was talking about at first. Then informed me would need to give two days notice to order a meat pie.

American banget! Ada choc, carrot, hummingbird, dan banyak cakenya enak2. Makannya juga mantap.ada Burger, sphageti, tosed salad, chiken strip yang paling aku sukai:). Didukung dengan suasana yang nyaman, ditambah ada WiFi pokoknya pas deh. Betah lama-lama diem disana. Makasi juga untuk pelayanan yang memuaskan. I'm Loved it ;)

Did the most amazing skateboard cake for my daughter in June 2015 I highly recommend and are placing another birthday cake order again this year June 2016.
All done over sms and photo they are amazing company and yummy cake. Highly recommend cheers

parking could be an issue during lunch or dinner.not a big deal though.
