Rudana Museum

I didn't have a travel plan, but I happened to visit the place by chance while walking around the area. Although we were the only visitors, there were quite a lot of Balinese modern and contemporary art works on display. Looking at it, there were quite a few interesting and interesting works.
The garden and architecture of the museum were beautiful, and there is an admission fee (I don't remember the exact amount, but I think it was 100k)
If you have something to go nearby, or if you are interested in modern and contemporary art, I recommend you to see it.

- Ubud has a lot of great museums. Rudana is one of them! It's a wonderful museum with both old (er) and contemporary Balinese art. The main building has 2 floors. Outside there are several pavilions with classic and modern paintings.

- I was the only visitor (apart from 2 other ones, who flew through the collection), so had the entire museum to myself.

- The staff is superfriendly. They sold me a cheaper postcorona entrance ticket. Really 'mantap' (awesome)! Suksma

I did not go into the main gallery/museum as I was looking to buy a painting but the part that was a gallery with paintings for sale has a good selection and good prices for known Balinese artists.

Half of my bali art is from this place. Even if you plan on buying nothong simply spend the day there. Great views, sculptures and museum.

If you love painting and want to have an idea about Balinese culture, it is a museum you should definitely visit. It is a colorful visual feast where you can see the interpretation of mythological stories and traditions in Bali by different periods and artists. If I come to Bali again, I want to visit it again. This is also the place where the Pope and A museum that received a special award and was also visited by Obama.

The museum has a wonderful collection of art - really interesting. Both contemporary and more traditional style. Large range of interesting paintings in a seperate gallery that are for sale and worth a look in their own right.

A quaint museum and art gallery with a wonderful collection of Indonesian paintings. It was quite dark in the interior as many of the lights were off.

Magnificent museum, part of which is accessible via the gardens overlooking the rice fields. Accessible on foot from the center of Ubud.

Amazing place to enjoy wide variation of arts and paintings. Love the architecture, the beautiful rice field you can see from inside the museum. Had an amazing experience!

At first I called them because of the corona we never know whose open or not? But they are open!
Since the conversation on the phone they are very clear and welcome, drive our car inside already some sign from the security where to go, and then not even go out from the car there's a guy that in the end becomes our guide in the Museum, he welcome us and saying Merry Christmas and Happy New year!
And then the concept of the museum itself are fantastic! I really love the Gallery too!

It's a private Museum, there's a painting is from 1862. Very interesting to see!

And not end it there, apparently we are there when they have a birthday party the 26th years of that museum. And thanks to the team and the owner that they give us free entrance, and food and drink too.

Di museum rudana terdapat banyak hasil karya seni berupa lukisan yang indah dan menarik sayang untuk tidak menikmatinya. Terdapat karya seni dari pelukis" terkenal, seperti karya sri adi soedarsona, ada juga karya seni dari nyoman gunarsa (alm) antonio blanco (alm) dan karya seniman modern lainnya. Saya sangat senang berkunjung ke museum ini. Karya karya seni yg luar biasa.

Sudah lebih baik, dan lengkap, diapit dengan pemandangan yang sangat apik, yang terpenting di dalamnya ada gambar lukisan yang menggambarkan perdamaian antar 5 agama dan sekaligus mengingatkan tentang kekejaman peristiwa bom Bali yang sangat menyakitkan
Banyak pelajaran, ilmu, sejarah, budaya dan seni yang perlu dilestarikan, yuk disini tempatnya,

The collections are amazing. They're come from various styles. You can see some abstract from Affandi, the beautiful naturalist painting to something unique sort as Nyoman Gunarsa painting. And tens other spectacular paintings. Each of them worth of your attention. There's a lot of art sculptures. It's have a good ambience and far from the dark type of museum. Paddy field around the building is other thing that I love. The employees are kind and can communicate in English. I love to spent my time here.

Museum Rudana has a interesting collection paintings which give you a nice overview of different styles in Balinese/Indonesian painting. The setting of the museum amidst a beautiful garden and ricefields are, for me, it's main attraction.

Come in visit The Museum Rudana

Location is not in the center of Ubud that is why not many people knew about this place. The place is huge and had an amazing collection of paintings. You can see live drawing everyday. The garden is beautiful and has a wonderful tropical vibe. A MUST visit place when you are in Ubud.

Lovely museum and art gallery surrounded by Balinese rice fields. A diverse and interesting collection of art, ranging from traditional to contemporary styles. Definitely worth the visit.

Very nice museum! It's nice to stop by. There is traditional Indonesian art, but the garden of the museum makes your visit totally worth it.

Excellent art. It was deserted when we were there, but the art is beautiful in a superb setting with rice fields behind it.
