A family/kid friendly hotel, complete with amazing, well maintained rooms. Despite not being next to a beach, they have a dedicated spot by the beach and a free shuttle to and from the hotel (could be better if the shuttle is twice or three times per hour instead of 1).

Looking forward to come back for our next trip.

The hotel swimming pool is really nice and the breakfast is delicious too.
There seems to be a bit of a smell in the hotel room.
Other than that everything is good

Its a lovely modern hotel. Good rooms. Good food. There are things to do for kids (kids pool and kids club). And this is the second time i stayed here with my family.
Just unfortunate that it doesnt have a private beach. Although i think they have a shuttle that can take you to the beach, nearby shops and restaurants.
All and all its a great establishment and will still be one of my favorite place for vacation.

How I wanted to give this hotel 5.
At first I was really impressed: the rooms are stylish, new, spacious. Cool open bathroom.
And the hotel itself is gorgeous. The restaurants are delicious.
Recreation areas.well, it seemed perfect

But.as often happens.some little things can ruin everything.

Of the minuses.
1. Bed linen! Simply terrible!
It feels like you’re sleeping on paper, not fabric.really.it crunches all night so hard that it’s impossible to sleep.it’s called when you overdid it with starch.and it seems like a trifle - bedding.but it’s like the second time there’s a complete lack of sleep, and then a terrible mood for the whole day.just like that.

2. This is an air conditioner (here it is general air conditioning), which cannot be set above 24 degrees! Well guys. I always sleep at home at least 26.in general, snot in the morning, etc.

3. Shuttle to the beach. I would like some more individual approach.and not wait for it and cram in there like sardines.we asked to call a taxi, but unfortunately they can only provide a general shuttle.

Guys, change these little disadvantages, and it will be great!

Stay 4 days 3 night.

Everything perfect except the breakfast place a lot of flies. I recommended this place if you okay having your breakfast with annoying flies and ruin your morning and it will affect your whole day.

Everything about the hotel is great
Whether it’s meals, spa, elegantly scented rooms, awesome bathroom systems and bathtubs, or the smiles of service staff, all the atmosphere of the hotel facilities are just perfect

Must come again next time if you have a chance

Review berdasarkan pengalaman menginap kami di tanggal 10-11 Oktober 2023.

Lokasinya berada diatas bukit dan tidak memiliki akses langsung ke pantai. Ada mobil shuttle untuk ke pantai setiap 30 menit.

Kami menginap di west wing Lantai 7.

Beberapa point yang bisa kami sampaikan adalah:

1. Air panas di kamar mandi kurang stabil, agak lama untuk jadi panas dan ketika sudah panas pun kadang bisa menjadi dingin kembali.

2. Sabun mandi, shampoo dan conditioner nya baunya enak. Menggunakan Argus by Margot Elena. Top. Bathtub yang besar namun karena bentuknya seperti mangkok, agak sulit menemukan posisi bersandar yang nyaman, dan sangat disayangkan tidak ada bath bomb.

3. Sofa dan bantal di sofanya bau apek.

4. TV kamar juga masih TV kabel biasa, belum smart TV.

5. Kolam renangnya memang ada banyak dan jam bukanya sampai malam, tapi tidak ada penerangan di kolam sehingga berenang di malam hari kurang enak. Terlalu gelap.

6. Breakfastnya variasinya cukup banyak, banyak jus buah fresh, hanya saja rasanya biasa saja. Kurang memuaskan.

7. Botol minum di kamar itu yang kapasitasnya kecil, sekali tuang ke gelas sudah habis, namun bisa menelepon ke room Service dan meminta minuman Extra tanpa biaya.

8. Pelayanan kamarnya untungnya bagus, kami meminta pinjam alat makan dan bath salt dan dikirimkan dalam waktu yang singkat.

Overall memang hotel bintang 5 dan kami masih cukup puas, namun kami mengharapkan masih bisa sedikit lebih baik lagi dalam aspek-aspek diatas mengingat harga yang dikeluarkan untuk menginap juga sudah harga premium.

My deposit still hasn't been returned yet even though I had checked out. I will update and change the star rating after I get back my deposit.

update: after 4days, I got my deposit back. I called the hotel by phone several days ago to follow up.

Service consistency, mainly front desk experience, deteriorated since our last visit last year. Such a shame because this was Ren nusa dua‘s competitive advantage.

- Pre arrival: We called a few days prior to arrival to ask whether they have big events (ie: wedding, corporate etc) planned during our stay. Front desk said no. Imagine our surprise upon arrival when we saw a big wedding banner. We just left and spend the day outside to avoid unnecessary drama. When we arrived back at the hotel, we found out they also have another event planned on the 3rd day of our stay. WOW. I suggest to have a confirmation directly from their GM on whether they have a big event cause it might be a deal breaker.

- Food: This is where they still shine, 10/10 for the F&B. Breakfast still one of the best in Bali. It‘s buffet but the quality is gourmet. The highlight for me is the dim sum (home made by Lion X team), juice bar and dessert bar. They recently opened 2 new restaurants, Lion X and Tanah Liat. Staffs were all very hospitable and always made sure we got what we need, from Chef Made and Andrew Christy at Backstage, Mba Irani and Chef Alex at Lion X. Lion X treated us to delicious dinner which was very generous. Valentine dinner experience by Chef Alit in Tanah Liat was good value. F&B team organized crowd from big events and main guests like a pro. In the end we feel little to no effect from the crowd in breakfast. Andrew took the time to inform us where and what time these events will take place in the hotel so we can plan the day accordingly.

- Room cleaning: Shoutout to Mba Ade, who meticulously arranged my clothes and skincare, cleaned my room, and put flowers in my bath tub for valentine‘s day.

- Elite benefits: another marriott property where you have to hustle for your benefits 1) Titanium benefits is a choice between different welcome snacks/drinks, free breakfast, or extra 1000 points. 2) While i understand 4 pm checkout in resort properties is based on availability, the night shift front desk showed discomfort when I asked for it. The first answer I got when I asked for late checkout availability was „checkout is at 12 pm“. I pushed a bit and he said „we only have 6 suites available, tomorrow we have arrival so let me check“. In the end I got 2 pm checkout, which is not a problem, but this pushback and interaction is unexpected for a marriott property in Asia. 3) Upgrade: upon check in we saw there is a studio suite available on the app so we asked for an enhanced upgrade. After pushing a bit FD agreed to upgrade us for half of our stay which was nice.

The difference can be really stark when you compare other marriott properties in Bali where front desk staffs are champions for elite members (ie: Westin Ubud, Aloft, Laguna, W to name a few).

World class bonvoyy stay experience. Faultless from start to finish.

- Service: this is way beyond typical Renaissance service, staffs are very friendly and helpful. They customize your stay preference and you feel very taken care of. One of my highlight was when my husband had vertigo at night and staff offered custom herbal drink for him and made sure we had all amenities needed for his condition.
- Food: Everyday we look forward to breakfast, lunch, dinner. Some of the menu are very creative, I also love the different Indonesian menu they offered. Chef Denny always ensure everything went perfect and menu are customized to our preference
- Spa: spa & massage were ok, i’ve had better massages at other places in Bali but the highlight was the facial (they offer top notch oxygen and biologique recherche facial).
- Private beach: transfer service is very prompt and comfortable but beach itself left much to be desired due to trash and sellers constantly approaching you, i wish they offer option to go to Pandawa Beach just like Renaissance Uluwatu.

Hotelnya lumayan masuk ke dalam dari jalan utama, dan pemeriksaan security nya ok. Utk pelayanan sudah pasti ok, konsep bathup di dalam kamarnya lucu karena hanya terpisah tirai dg kasurnya

Saya mampir sini, Kamis 09 Feb 2023. Ini hotel gedenya warbiasaaa.ada dua gedung.lobby itu ada di gedung 2. Fasilitasnya komplet istimewa.bathup, setrika, safebox, TV super gede, dengan channel yg banyak pilihan.ada terasnya juga di tiap kamar.bisa smoking sambil lihat hijauan sepanjang pandangan mata. Masuknya agak jauh dari jalan utama.pegel kalo jalan kaki dari hotel.tapi 500 meter dari hotel, sebelum jalan utama, itu ada Warung Nasi Bali. IG: @nindyatama_07

I stayed at the villa for 4 days. All good until the very last night, I arrived at 11pm and it was rain quite heavy. What happened next was the corridor door can’t be opened. There’s no phone outside the villa, means that you have 2 option:
1. You can walk back to the lobby
2. Call the lobby with your phone
So I tried 2nd option. The condition was my phone battery only 2% at that time, tried to call several time to the hotel no one answered, until the fourth / fifth finally they answered.
Less than 5 minutes the staff came to the unit tried to open the door but failed and then he called engineer team and failed again.
After several attempt and almost 30 minutes later finally the door can be open.
It was very unpleasant experience for me.

The next day after breakfast it happen again. The corridor door can’t be opened.luckily a lady that stayed next door just came back to her room and she help me open the door. But then she said it that she experienced being locked a day before.

It was a very bad experience for me.

Hari ini saya menghadiri meeting, dan melihat beberapa snack yang menurut saya unik dan jarang ditemui di ruang meeting, buah apel dan satu lagi itu kayaknya coklat putih, yang sudah standby menunggu peserta meeting.
Yang unik juga saya lihat di restoran, partisi dibuat menggunakan susunan rak yang diisi berbagai barang-barang yang menarik.
