Pura Goa Lawah

For an unaccustomed Bali visitor, I couldn't prepare for the rudeness of the sellers. We didn't know they were sellers when they strung "lucky charms" around the neck of a family member. It was still ok for the guide to come with us and we paid him, but after that the pressure from the valley maps started, and the "good luck" jewelry givers started attacking us, even the children. "That woman has money". A very distressing experience!

Small temple, said to be connected to the Mother temple. The temple is a cave of bats, which you can see and hear as soon as you enter.

Small Balinese Hindu temple from the 11th century that was built around a cave full of bats. The biggest tourist attraction of this temple are the bats, but they don't let you access the cave and you have to see them from a distance, the temple is beautiful, but for 25,000rp there is not much to see.

Beautiful temple, we arrive for pray time. But all sellers around were really annoying and demanding. Not much to see in the temple.

Pura Sad Kahyangan yang selalu menjadi tempat tujuan untuk prosesi nyegara gunung setelah upacara ngelinggihang setelah ngaben.

Di depan pura Goa Lawah terdapat rest area yang wajib disinggahi dalam perjalanan dari padang bai menuju denpasar. Di sini banyak pesagang yang menjual makanan dari pagi sampai malam. Jadi setelah menempuh perjalanan laut yang cukup panjang bisa beristirahat di sini sembari melihat pemandangan.

Pantai gowa lawah sebenernya adalah pantai untuk peristirahatan didalam berkendara atau pantai singgah. Tempat parkir yang luas serta bersih dan ada beberapa spot foto menarik dengan tulisan lawah berlogo kelelawar batman menjadikan tempat ini patut untuk disinggahi. Serta harga makanan jajanan disekitarnya jg masih murah. Penjaga parkirnya juga komunikatif dalam memberikan informasi kepada wisatawan.

Jika kalian ke goa lwah kalian akan melihat pantai atau di sebut dengan segara, upacara di goa lawah adalah pada hari anggar kasih medangsia

Pura ini merupakan bagian dari sad kahyangan (enam pura utama), pura ini juga merupakan pura untuk memuja tuhan sebagai dewa laut,

Pura Goa Lawah  (Balinese "Bat Cave Temple") is a Balinese Hindu temple or a pura located in Klungkung,  Bali,  Indonesia. Pura Goa Lawah is often included among the Sad Kahyangan Jagad, or the "six sanctuaries of the world", the six holiest places of worship on Bali. Pura Goa Lawah is noted for built around a cave opening which is inhabited by bats, hence its name, the Goa Lawah or "bat cave".
Pura Goa Lawah was established in the 11th century by Mpu Kuturan. Mpu Kuturan was one of the early priests who introduced Hinduism on Bali. The temple complex may start as the center of meditation for priests

When the Dutch attacked the Klungkung kingdom of 1849 in the War of Kusamba, the temple was one of the key points during the war. The conflict in the War of Kusamba was between the Royal Netherlands East Indies Army led by Andreas Victor Michiels and the Klungkung kingdom led by Dewa Agung Istri Kanya.

The temple decoration evolves as time progress. In the early 20th-century, porcelain ceramic plates attached into the shrines and gates of Pura Goa Lawah are common. Tempatnya nyaman dengan pantai yang biru, tempat cocok buat menghabiskan liburan dengan keluarga, dan berhadapan dengan Pura Goa Lawah, semakin menambah keindahan Pura ini, banyak pemedek yang tangkil ke Pura sembahyang, selesainya break di depan pantai sungguh indah.

Apalagi suasana malam dengan kilauan lampu semakin membuat suasana hati menjadi riang

Lokasi bersih, tempat wisata sekaligus persembahyangan, tak ada yg harus di jelaskan, tempat ini hampir sama dengan pura wisata lain dengan objek yg berbeda, dan sejarahnya.

One of sacred big temple in Bali. The location is around the main road of Jalan Goa Lawah (left side from IB Mantra Street). It's so easy to find the location and there is the beach across the area.
