13Schöner und ruhiger Tempel, wenig Touristen. 10k pro Person Eintritt, 20k wenn man Fotos machen will.
Luarbiasa,
Terlihat sederhana, tp sangat bermakna.
Beautiful and historical temple from 15th Century. We had a chance to meet and talk to people there, they are very nice and explained to us the history of the temple.
Stunning! Peaceful. Great architecture and beautifully kept grounds. Only tourists here which made it more special.
There are some popular and attractive Balinese hindu temples in the north Bali of Singaraja to visit when you happen to be visiting the place. Those temples are: Pura Maduwe Karang, Pura Beji, Budhis temple in Banjar, etc.
Temples in north Bali are built slightly different from temples in the south eventhough in general serving the similar functions.
In term of lay out the temple may looks the same with three courtyards namely the outside one, the middle and the most important, the inner courtyard where the worshipping shrines are, the praying takes place. But interm of building styles temples in the south Bali are filled with many shrines, small, big or even tall, pagoda like, merus, while in the north Bali they have much less shrines in their inner courtyard. And in fact, there are some other detailed differeces but anyway what would they be if they are all the same, boring, aren't they.
The temple of Beji, regardless of its ornamentations, would probably be regarded as temple of the dead in the south Bal8 seeing its inner courtyard consist of only one magically looking shrine eventhough it is in fact functioned as the temple of agriculture knowing it is the temple where the goddes of fertility, Sri, is worshiped.
Really nice temple, you pay 10k for a ticket (they try to reconstruct it), it's quiet here. One of the best temples we visited.
One of the old temples in north of Bali dedicated to rice goddess. Located on the road side to Sangsit beach and rice field in surounding area. This temple has been recently used as good spot for taking pre-wedding photo shoot.
We were alone here so we were able to take as many pictures as we wanted.
The sarong was for rental and also a fee to enter
I was starting return travel back to Denpasar and the driver wanted to show me this Temple near where we were. This is close to his home so he felt a special connection to this place. They had a sarong for rental so I could enter with the proper attire. The was some sort of photography/filming going on when I arrived so the costumes were interesting and it was fun to watch. Great start to the return trip.
