Prana Spa Bali

This was so lovely and a great experience - just note tax is added after the total for any aussies attending!

The therapists are so accommodating and the treatments are just beautiful. I visit this spa on every Bali trip, including when I was 7 months pregnant. This is one of the oldest but most amazing spas in Bali. I bought my 8 year old daughter with me and they put together a spa package that didn’t even exist just to be accomodating. Thank you Prana spa I’ll be sure to visit next time as well xx

My wife and I did the spirit of Bali package 1,000,000 IDR each. The massage and scrub were excellent. The flower bath was one bath between us and extremely shallow. You couldn’t fully get under the water which was awkward. There’s a 21% surcharge added for tax and service. The grounds are beautiful but the spa is in a basement with no windows or view.

Wouldn’t recommend the flower bath if that’s what you’re looking for as it’s just too shallow.

The massage therapist wasn’t not professional. First, she did not provide any slipper whereas all my friends being offered one. Second, I started the session later than my friends but finished earlier. Third, when I asked where is my friends she said my friends already in the receptionist area enjoying their drinks when in fact my friends haven’t finish their session yet. Fourth, she didn’t ask me what drinks I would like to have while all my friends were asked. Fifth, she informed me that the bowl provided in the bathroom was soap while other therapists informed my friends that was shampoo!

I really loved my massage and facial. That was beautiful and very relaxing. Stunning architecture! But unfortunately the downstairs section where they do the body wrap, steam room and body scrub was yucky. The shower curtains need replacing badly, towels and bath mats were dirty and it just smells really mouldy. Felt dungeon like. All that area needs an upgrade I feel if they do renovations on the downstairs part/wet areas it would make a huge difference

Nice building but run down. Wet areas for showers and treatments, smell like toilets. Massage was nice but not worth the cost.

Sun and Moon package was terrible. Very dirty and poorly maintained shower / steam room / polish facility. Polish and Scub was terrible and the walls of the bathroom were falling apart. Bad experience and lack of care and attention. Massage was nice. The place is poorly maintained and overpriced - go to BODYWORKS instead!

Masseuse was really lovely and sweet but she didn’t maintain a good pressure, it was strong initially but I think she got tired. The music was exceptionally loud and she wasn’t able to adjust since it’s central sound system and the counter staff didn’t understand when I said the music was too loud during the feedback.
Left being more tense after 90 minutes massage.

Went to have sun and moon treatment on 5th Jan 2022. With the price of 1juta, I was expecting an enjoyable moment. The facilities soo dirty, the scrub room was not maintained well. Clearly, sign of scale on every shower head, and the pillow was wet/damp. The girl who did the treatment was ok, left me for a good 10 mins at the sauna room. The second shower, a strange smell came out from the water…. Could have be run through first before customer using it. Strange smell also came out from the bed-pillow are in the massage room.
Such a shame, that a beautiful building with a not good maintenance. Staff were talking in Balinese whilst guest present at front office. A place that I would not go back anymore.

An unfortunately bad experience I had at prana. I arrived with a few friends all going to get a facial and full body massage. I had personally requested focus on my legs/feet for the massage.

I never got a facial after my massage, plus the masseuse was lazy and had zero effort while massging.

For the price of $90 aud for an hour and a half it’s just not worth it.

The only impressive part of this place is the building itself. But I would not recommend a massage from here.

They have no website. So we tried to book $240 USD worth of massages, via whatsapp to no avail. They simply just did not answer our messages for a full day. Called the cell number, no answer. Called the 0361 local number where you get transferred, then the lady told me to wait - and hung up on me. Yes amazing but true.

Beautiful venue however very overrated and very over priced for what you receive well below average, inexperienced masssuese who done the massage, I have never been covered in so much oil that smelt more like cooking oil rather than the usual beautiful perfume oil aromas just discussed with their performance will never return to this venue.

Luxurious spa with magical architecture of India mix with Morocco, do not need to fly to high to get the spa experience in both country. The massage technique is impressive. The pressure just perfect yet relaxing. The staffs are very friendly and therapist is very experienced yet friendly. The ambience is magical, like entering time machine and experiencing the glorious Indian Palace. Auto feel royal when entering this place and experiencing the luxurious spa. The aryuvedic treatment is an experience to try, calming, relaxing and releasing stress

I asked to take photos inside, but the owner and staff were so rude and rejected my request in very awful manner. I strongly recommend to staff be more polite with visitors. If you want a better experience please choose another SPA to relax. Here you are going to face only disenchantment!

Been here in February 2022.1) its VERY dirty. Disrespectfully so, especially for an establishment that wants to charge premium for their services. The lady who did my massage had an extensive nail fungus while walking barefoot in an area that a client is supposed to be barefoot too. Water glasses had dirt caked on them. The dust on the area where you re supposed to keep your belongings is offensive too. You re supposed to lie down in lulur scrub shavings after they finish with the front part probably to save on the laundry bill. It doesnt seem that they care about hygiene anymore since there are few clients.
2) No hot water. Literally none. After an hour shivering under uncontrollable aircon i was desperately waiting for a hot shower and a promised flower bath. Surprise! The shower was freezing and i had to use it to wash off the remains of the oily scrub. The cherry on top was the bath. Lukewarm + under aforementioned aircon. Seriously?
The shady thing is - they have asked for payment before the procedure. Now i know why.
27 visits in Sundari - perfect! No issues.
1 visit in Prana Spa - me and my friend are sneezing and shivering on our way to the hotel. Its definitely not a luxury/premium place - stay away.

Fantastic ambience, we had the Prana Pampering session it was divine. Our therapists were professional, helpful and good at the services we had. Definitely recomnend!

So sad to write this review. We were super excited to go here, but were down by both the yoga and the spa. The yoga classroom smelled like cigarettes and the teacher spoke so softly you couldn’t hear him. It was a vinyasa class but had absolutely zero flow. He kept saying, “now do this, ” and would demonstrate something that required much more explanation than he was giving.

We followed up this painful morning class with a Simple Bliss Package for 2. It was an average experience. Uncomfortable beds and mediocre technique. But here’s what’s getting me to write this review: one of the therapists was coughing the entire time. Now my boyfriend is so sick on our Bali trip. Sore throat, runny nose, cough.

So unsanitary and unprofessional—OR they overwork these people here. Either way, not good.

This spa is an absolute must when in Bali! The staff is attentive and friendly, the place so beautiful and the treatments were amazing! After a 3 hour treatment we ate amazing food at the restaurant, that have both Indonesian and Indian food! We left feeling more relaxed and pampered than ever and with tummies full of good food!

Best hot stone massage I ever had! Recommend. Clean. Shower available after massage. Good menu for massages. Aircon too cold.
