PinkCoco Uluwatu - for Cool Adults Only

Incredible location to get around the beaches and uluwatu.
The service and food are unbeatable. They exceeded my expectations by far. Thank you PinkCoco!

We spend 3 nights in the PinkCoco Hotel and enjoyed from the beginning to the end. The service is incrrdible. The staff is helpful, friendly, authentic and just wonderful. The room was clean, big, the bathroom and shower a dream. And of course a dream in pink. The pools are so pretty and you get free snacks and drinks when spending time there also free water in the room and at thr pool. The breakfast is amazing. You can choose between coffee/tea, a main (pancakes, avocado toast, so much more), a side (banana bead, cinnamon roll, fruit salad, granola, scone, etc), and juice and a welcome basket. In the evening there is live music in the wonderful restaurant area. So many lovely details. Also we did rent a scooter here and booked a surf lesson. Perfect. The location on the main street is perfect. If we come back to Uluwatu we come back to Pink Coco. Thank you for the perfect stay. Eric & Rieke

All together a nice hotel but you have to make sure, you don't get the "surfers room". It is like a small long tunnel, with only a tiny window and bad smell on it. Most other rooms look much nicer. The stuff is very comforting as well and it is not far to walk to the beach.
Portions in the restaurant were a bit small for us but it tasted good.

Overall our experience was great! But there were a few ‘flaws’ that made me give 4 stars in general and 3 stars to the room. First when we booked the website showed us a picture of the room I attached to this review. When we got to the room it was the ‘surfers cabinet’. Maybe other people would have liked this room but it wasn’t our cup of tea. And after checking the booking it did show the surfers cabinet. We switched rooms after paying the difference. They were very friendly and understanding. The reason why I gave the room 3 stars is because they just painted the room and the smell was invasive. They also worked on the airco while we were gone and it looked like the workers used the toilet (urine all over the toilet seat) and also shoe prints and paint on the bed sheets. Maybe it was bad luck/timing for us because over all the staff was super super friendly and the hotel had a really nice vibe. They’d come around during the day at the pool and serve mini fruit/tea drinks, appetizers… The breakfast was also very good! I never had this in a hotel where you had to choose instead of a buffet and I liked the concept. No waste, no overeating. You receive standard a fruit plate, sweet rolls, coffee or tea and then you choose your fruit juice and breakfast. I think the issue with our room was ‘bad luck’ because except for that we had a very good experience!

Magnificent hotel on a human scale. Very original place with all this pink (my favorite color), I was in my element.
The rooms are beautifully decorated and the bathroom is just amazing, although slightly dark.
The hotel really takes care of its customers, they regularly bring us treats around the swimming pool, and they offer us face masks.
Excellent breakfast.
On the other hand, I found the clientele (young girls especially) very austere, pretentious, not cracking a smile when they look at you. Unlike the staff who are pleasant and smiling, especially Benjamin, a very sunny young boy.
In conclusion, very nice experience overall. Too bad we only stayed there for 2 nights

The restaurant is really good and the atmosphere a 10. They served us free shot and appetizer (bread and humus) super nice atmosphere for a night dinner and romantic. The only thing is that I ordered a tofu poke bowl and they missed the avocado, 1 out of the 5 ingredients it had (rice, tofu and tempeh, broccoli, cucumber i exchanged for tofu and corn). Everything else perfect

I've had a mixed experience.for the price, I expected more. It's more expensive than a brand new private villa I stayed in this trip.
Was told I could check in 2pm and was left to wait for 45mins in the heat. Yes, they have a restaurant to wait in, however no air con.
Then finally made it to my room that smelled of chemicals. Not ideal. Floor was wet from being mopped with said chemicals and then air con took hours to cool the room down. It did eventually get fixed. Thankfully.

The bed has nothing but a really thin sheet on it. No blanket. So that was weird. The quality of linen and towels, very meh. I expected higher quality. The place could do with an upgrade of linen and towels.

When my room was tidied, they had moved/touched many of my items which I didn't like, particularly my toiletries. Feels a little invasion of privacy in a way.

Even though breakfast is provided, I cannot drink the coffee here. Tried a couple of times and it was not pleasant at all. Other spots up the road were great so no real prob here.

Pro's:
Pools are lovely, gardens lovely and many great spots to film/take great pics for my trip.
The staff are quite accomodating & friendly.

Big bathrooms, separate to the bedroom

Overall, if the price was under $100/night, I would not have complained at all. I'd have managed my expectations! But for $250AUD/night, I expected a better experience.

I stayed at the Pink Coco in Trawangan for three nights and because of the good service I decided to also stay at the Pink Coco in Uluwatu (again 3 nights). Both hotels are very clean, the rooms are nice and spacious, the beds are very comfortable. We received a free upgrade for one night to one of the two suites, which was really extremely nice (see photo). With a large terrace and sunset views. The best thing, however, is the breakfast! You always get a fresh fruit juice (you can choose between banana, melon, papaya, pineapple), as much coffee as you want (you can also choose between cappuccino, espresso, etc.) a fruit plate and a main course (you can also choose between Egg Benedict, Nasi Goreng), 3 different bowls, pancakes etc.) as well as bread with butter and jam. I was in Bali for 3 weeks and never had a breakfast as good as the Pink Coco. The employees are very helpful and friendly. I especially thought the little extra goodies were great. On the first evening there was a face mask in the fridge, then some delicious cookies. The staff also goes through again and again and distributes, for example, a small fruit shot. The Pink Coco in Uluwatu is located right on the street, but once you're at the pool it's totally quiet (as are the rooms). In the pool area there are books to read or games like Uno. It is a 5-minute walk to “Padang Padang” beach. Scooters can be rented directly from the hotel. I can only recommend this hotel!

Hotel was fairly old / rundown for what I expected for the price as this was one of the more expensive places I’d stayed in Bali. There was water damage on the walls and overall the room was a bit musty.

The service was great though, and the turndown service and small gifts were nice. However, given the quality of the rooms I wouldn’t stay here again.

Fantastic! Best night in Bali so far! Great room with a sea view, great service and everything very clean. We are very satisfied and would come back at any time.

A hotel to fall in love with.
It was a perfect match. The room with the great furnishings. The restaurant has very good food. The employees simply live their hospitality.
We would especially like to mention dear Benjamin, who treated us every day at the pool to small delicacies from the restaurant (free of charge!). He is also a great entertainer and can give lots of tips.

We would love to come back because the location is simply perfect for Uluwatu. There are all great restaurants, beaches and beach clubs in the area. With the scooter you can get anywhere very quickly and thanks to Benjamin's tips we discovered many beautiful places. There was just too little time to see everything, so we'll be back.

The staff is openhearted and kind to me, I was losing my key and they help me to find it. Just need improvements on the rooms, some furniture is dusty and needs cleaning

We stayed here last month and loved it! The pink colour scheme was very on trend with the whole barbiecore era that was happening. We had a pool view room and it was spacious. The bathroom was huge. The location in Uluwatu was also great, lots of great eating spots within a short walking distance. Breakfast was also included with our rate and it was very generous. The staff are all so lovely and kind. We tried the beach down the road and didn’t like it, it was very rocky and probably suited for surf as opposed to swimming. Would recommend making the trip abroad to Nusa Dua for swimming beaches.

We stopped here for afternoon drinks on a super hot day, so GLAD we did. What an amazing place, so fun! We were met with freezing cold face washers to cool us down. The food was insanely good, best edamame in the world and amazing cocktails. We'll be back next time we're in Uluwatu for more delights. Pass on our thanks to the super friendly team.

Bit expensive for what you get. It's a good location, it looks nice. Rooms are fine, just smells a bit like sewage in the bathroom. Reception by the boy behind the reception was a bit strange. The rest of the staff can't be faulted. Found a brochure in the room that you are cordially invited to come and swim at 22: 00, but naked. Went a bit far for me. All in all a great hotel but 130 euros for 1 night is really crazy.
