Pesiraman Dalem Pingit Sebatu

Salah satu tempat melukat yang suasananya masih alami. Adapun tahapan melukat di tempat ini adalah sebagai berikut.
1. Menghaturkan canang di palinggih pertama yang berada agak jauh dari pasiraman. Di sana ada 3 buah pancoran yang bisa digunakan untuk membasuh wajah sebelum melanjutkan penglukatan.

2. Kembali menghaturkan canang pada palinggih berupa arca yang akan ditemui di setiap tangga. Akan ada 230 anak tangga yang akan kita lalui.

3. Melakukan persembahyangan di palinggih Pura Dalem Pingit dan Pura Kusti yang  letaknya agak diatas dari tempat pasiraman dengan menghaturkan pejati dan menggunakan sarana kewangen.

4. Usai sembahyang, kewangen yang ada uang kepengnya agar tidak dibuang dan dibawa kelokasi melukat.

5. Masuk ke areal pasiraman, jangan lupa haturkan canang di pelinggih yang terletak di depan dan juga di samping air terjun. Lalu, dilanjutkan dengan penglukatan dengan cara, kewangen di letakan di depan dahi atau ubun-ubun seperti saat kita sembahyang. Badan menghadap ke air dan guyur diri mulai dari kepala dan ubun-ubun.

6. Setelah kepala basah, lepas kewangen agar hanyut bersama air.

7. Setelah selesai melukat, pemedek sembahyang sekali lagi di palinggih yang ada di dekat pasiraman, dan diakhiri dengan nunas tirta dan bija.

Whatever you do - DO NOT buy from the first shop on the righthand side at the very beginning of the entrance as you walk in from the scooter parking lot! This shop preys on tourists especially if you've never been to Bali and if you're traveling alone. The old lady there charged me 200.000 IDR for a serong and a set of offerings. This is 4 times as much as other places. But to add insult to injury she threw in a free coconut.

Chalk it up to experience, but this sorta dampened my mood. I try not to let it get to me because after all I was purified. BUT I cannot stand the chance that someone else could get scammed or defrauded. I was so excited to check this place out and honestly the people and shops further down are much nicer than this first shop.

So here are at least two shops I believe are honest:

I found a shop right across from the ticketing desk where I met a man with one hand. He consoled and comforted me and I felt much better after talking to him. He was really genuine and helpful. I felt he was truly concerned for me and what happened.

Another good shop is right at the beginning of the stairs with a statue on each side that takes you down to the holy water. This shop lady here is kind and gentle. I've met a girl who rented a serong here and she had a positive experience.

The picture below is exactly the same shop where I got scammed. SO BUYER BEWARE. I honestly pray this does not happen to anyone else, but something tells me it will because this first shop has been here for many years. I do not know how they stay in business, but because they are the first shop there they get the competitive advantage of getting to customers and tourists first.

The purification itself was a positive experience so make sure you buy from the right people before going down.
