Having a driver on Bali is not a luxury but rather quite important. To get across the island and visit to some of the more special and less touristy while you are at it, requires a driver and Putu not only answered 10,000 questions but made spot on suggestions for short stops on long drives. Putu was recommended by a friend who has know him since before he could drive. He has built a small business and now has associates that provide transportation island-wide - planning well in advance is a good idea. Putu brought us to and from Pemuteran (at least 4 hours each trip) as well as sightseeing one afternoon. He is professional and responsive, speaks and understands English well and has a wonderful sense of humor.

I always use PUTU to drive me when going to and from pemuteran. He is a cautious and careful driver making me feel safe and comfortable. I highly recommend PUTU to show you the sites on the north coast as well as go on long trips around the island. He knows all the back roads and short cuts.
