Onboard Store Canggu

This is the first bad review I’ve ever left in my life.
I bought a surf hat, realised it was too small on me, came back 2 days with the brand new, unused hat, that still had the tags on it.
I didn’t even want my money back, I only wanted to exchange it for something else, and they wouldn’t allow it. They made no effort to offer any sort of customer service.
Paying overpriced western prices should come with the decency of being able to exchange it with something else.

I bought my Rocket Wide Board Al Merrick last December. I didn’t really got consulted, he just said I should buy this board since I am a “shortboarding-intermediate”. I was kind of happy at first. Now, less than 1 month in use (jn total 3 months later), I experience following:
- the board gets ding suuuper easily: I can press with my thumb against it with middle pressure and a ding is occurring
-> I now have many ding even though I am super careful
- the board gets weird big yellow spots (pictures).

I wrote the store about the problem but they only said I can bring it there. I told them I am not in Indonesia anymore - there was no other solution proposed. I am really disappointed, I thought the board is for its price (I paid 580€) at least good quality…

The Onboard store is a awesome place with a lot of sick boards and the crew is willing to go that extra mile for you. Thank you guys the board is amazing!

Fantastic surf store with a great range of boards, knowledgeable & helpful staff, beautifully merchandised and significantly cheaper than buying the same boards at home in Australia. If you're in Bali, definitely go check them out.

I just bought my third board in 6 months from this store for near to 11 mil and the staff complained (on behalf of the owner) about throwing in one block of wax. Unbelievable…

Never know a surf shop so tight - especially in Bali.

Charlie and Riki got me some custom boards in only 5 days for my trip to mentawaii.as good as it gets mates. Don’t even doubt about coming here, Charlie and Riki have tried every single model of CI and they’ll make sure you get what you need. Enjoy the ride

Fantastic board selection by many renowned shapers. Picked up a wonderful Christenson Longboard last year and I’m still enjoying it, best longboard I own. Service was great, no pressure sale, and knowledgeable staff.

Wow, cannot recommend highly enough, Cal and Ricky both know their shiz and were super helpful with board selection, rights fins, and general Bali surf know how. My custom board is epic, super stoked, 5 stars

Looks like they deleted my review somehow.
Shop is nice and the owner was cool, but the board I bought is a joke. I’ve owned a ton of boards and none of which have been as delicate as the one I got. Huge pressure dings after a single session

The store manager Charlie hooked me up with two sick board, even got the second one from the Seminyak store brought up here for me. Really good knowledge of the boards and helped with selection. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
