Nur Salon Ubud

I booked the Balinese massage/ginger scrub/flower bath pack for €26
At the start, I had to get naked (this is not an obligation but more practical with the scrub and the bath that follows), I am modest and yet I was able to let go even more like that!
Excellent massage, exfoliation with gentle rinsing from the masseuse, application of papaya jelly then bath with a little ginger tea. All in a semi-open, relaxing space.
I recommend 100%.

Very amateur massage for 250K for an hour. Hygiene is an issue also as mentioned before. Therapist did not wash her hands at all. There is 'ubud bodyworks centre' on the same street for the same price but very professional. Try there.

Today I made an appointment for a 90-minute Balinese massage at 5pm. Thank you very much to my masseuse for letting me relax and enjoy your massage. From the essential oils, ginger scrub, papaya bath and flower petal bath, I can enjoy it peacefully. The whole process, I hope to have the opportunity to visit again, thank you

The entrance and garden are beautiful but it stops there.
Putting aside that the masseuse did not want to be here, there is a lack of professionalism with the following:
- Hygiene: there is no bath to wash your feet before starting the massage. And then the masseuse does not wash her hands when she goes from feet to face massage. Not great.
- You are fully nacked, like a piece of meat on a table. There is no cover for your eyes when you’re face up. And as you are outside, the body temperature is cooling down which makes the whole experience less enjoyable. Poor.
- Privacy: you are locked in a room but hear all the surrounding noise and people talking.
Also the massage is overpriced compared to other Ubud SPA.
I would not recommend. Go elsewhere.

I booked 2 days before the Mandi Lulur massage that I had been advised and not disappointed. Very well received and in a magnificent setting, a very nice lady took care of me directly. Massage from head to toe, front, back which is exquisite. Application of a paste of grass and fresh mango on the body and a little floral bath to finish with a ginger tea.what more could you ask for?

An awesome experience. We did the massage + ginger wrap + papaya package, it was perfect. A little more expensive than most massages but the experience is really worth trying!

We came to Nur‘s Spa by chance and it was an absolutely perfect experience. The place is beautiful - calming and green and the massages are held in open air rooms - the massage itself was great too especially after the long flight. We will definitely be back!

Had a massage today from master Made - he is bombastic! The best massage I've had in about 12 massage experiences I've had in Bali in 2 weeks.

In summary - he does very subtly, listens to feedback on strength and points, is attentive to tensions and really knows how to relax them. My shoulder had been hurting for years. He was able to relax what I needed there and it feels like my shoulder is back in place. He also does a very cool job on the foot - I felt every bone and muscle and everything relaxed there too! 10 from 10

Nur Spa is a must visit if you're in Ubud! This was my second time in Bali and I made sure to go back to this incredible place. I can honestly say it's the most experienced, traditional and best massage I had on either visit. You can really tell the masseur are experienced and work with expert skill.

Went today for an amazing balinese massage. Probably one of the best that I ever experienced. They asked me if I feel like a new woman after - yes, I do! ️?

Had a great experience at Nur’s Salon. Even spoke to the owner who explained why it was called a salon, as she started out purely doing hair services in the 60s.

The massage was a great experience, although I admit that I was taken aback by the “intimacy” of it all. Completely nude, no modesty blankets or towels, and a post massage shower in full view of the masseuse.

Awkwardness aside, the massage was amazing and I fell asleep out of pure relaxation and bliss.

PS, it might be good to book in advance. They get pretty busy.

Amazing massage and scrub, very atmospheric. Can be a little warm as massage booths are not air conned, but that lends itself to a very interesting experience, with natural breeze and occasional rain around you

After a long day at work, I stepped inside by chance. What an amazing idea! Simply the best massage and cleansing of my life. Highly recommend, and hope to be back one day.

Three weeks of staying in Ubud and Spas, this was hands down the best experience. Got the Balinese massage, ginger scrub, papaya rinse, and bath. All the ingredients simple and freshly made there, the building is old, special but not super fancy, the whole experience felt authentic. Went to Tamarind spa and after wished I had just gone back here. Loved it.

Amazing experience, best massage in Asia. Very sweet and professional. Wonderful place (a garden in the middle of Ubud, quiet sounds, very pretty rooms). The full coconut or ginger scrub package (massage, papaya, coconut scrub, flower bath) brings you peace in 1h30. Couldn't recommand more!
(Just be aware that you'll be completely naked:) )

Had a 1-he body massage. The massage skill is quite decent with mostly long strokes but not much acupoint massage. However, at Rp250,000, I consider it exorbitant considering the massage room is extremely basic and rudimentary with average massage skill. Won’t come back again.

In a failed effort to locate a nail salon, I stumbled upon this oasis. You ever take a wrong road and find yourself in paradise? Yea, me either, that is what makes this place such an extraordinary surprise. After ascending the stairs and closing through the The grounds are a palatial green forest tended by a 15 year master gardener. Before the massage, I was greeted by the owner, an affable, "madam, " who suggested the massage, scrub and bath package. That package is perfection and provides an escape from the bustle of UBUD for a luxurious few hours. After you wind through the garden you arrive to a outdoor massage room with a large massage table (important for the big gurls), a rain shower and a deep soaking tub. I can't tell you much else, because I frankly gave myself over to the sights, sensations and aroma. Everywhere I looked was a party for my eyes. Upon leaving, the owner indicated that I looked 17 years younger, and while that may be a slight exaggeration, I left feelings as carefree as a 17 year old. Yantee (sp) has amazing hands and immediately put me at ease. If you're coming to UBUD you betta get a reservation here ASAP, cause I have a sense they are going to be hard to get pretty soon.
