Nungnung Waterfall Carpark

A wonderful place, not spoiled by commercialism. There are few tourists because the descent and ascent are difficult. You can swim in the lake under the fall, feeling its power.

The approximately 50 meter high waterfall is located in the middle of nature. The waterfall can be reached via a 15 to 20 minute walk with countless large steps that you first have to walk down and back up again. You should have some fitness for this route. But the effort is definitely worth it. A wonderful experience. Tickets for the waterfall currently cost IDR 20,000 per person.

One of the highest waterfalls in Bali.
Were there around 8: 30am and were alone except for the wedding couple who took photos with the photographer (of course, they have to be there early to be undisturbed)
Otherwise we were completely alone, even 45 minutes after the couple and photographer left.
The approximately 1 hour drive from Ubud is definitely worth it, but as I said, be there before 9am!

PS: The waterfall requires you to climb over 400 steps beforehand and of course you have to go back!
So you should be somewhat fit and sure-footed!

Very beautiful waterfall, one of the best waterfalls in Bali. The way there is a bit strenuous but it's worth it. You can also swim there.

This looks like a waterfall, and not those trickles where the locals did business like in Sochi “100 waterfalls”

Pertama kali ke sini karena ingin tahu, sampai dibawah kaki saya bergetar krn tangganya yg cukup terjal dan ukuran tangga agak tinggi utk ukuran kita.tapi begitu melihat air terjunnya rasa capek dan lelah menuruni tangga terbayar.keren habis pokoknya

Hidden gem in the middle of nowhere!
Need to be a little bit fit as there are big stairs down to the waterfall which they need to be climb on the way up to the exit! …. But it is WORTH IT!

There's stairs on the way down to the waterfall. The parking space is spacious. The locals are friendly. They sell seasonal fruits with relatively cheap price.

Beautiful waterfall around 20 km from Ubud, will take around 1 hour to go down steps and up, must bath. Entry ticket 10k and car parking ticket 5k.

So beautiful and worth the "hike". Not a very long trip in but quite steep. So lush and green!

Nice place to start/end your waterfall tour. Has about 500 stairs and probably isn't the best for swimming, but it was very nice.
