14I visited the museum and bought a master class on painting a mask, a beautiful territory and three museums, a sacred star anise tree, a pond with golden carps, very beautiful The master class began with welcome tea and dessert, I thought I’d make a mask from a mache folder, but it turned out to be much cooler - they gave me a mask made of wood instead of the required 3 hours, I painted it for 4 hours, I was very pleased with the result, I got great pleasure from the process, the cost of the lesson is 370,000 rubles and it’s worth it, plus visiting the museum turned out to be free
I originally came for the art and stayed for the beautiful gardens and beverage/light meal that come with your entry ticket. Ponds, ancient trees, beautiful nature and old sculptures are the main reason to come here.
The art is not always well kept and the buildings are quite poorly lit, which makes it hard to see much imo (and god its hot in there!).
However, there are some very quaint and interesting pieces (drawings, paintings and sculptures) and all in all the ensemble makes this place worth its five stars.
Interesting place for me (a little less for my teenager). Go there before the meal because there is 1 dish and 1 drink included in the tour ticket. Well located in Ubud and we appreciate the calm.
Great place in Ubud to see traditional and modern Balinese and Indonesian art as it evolved across the years. The grounds and surrounds are extremely beautiful. Very picturesque and great for portraiture at sunset!

Gedung D - seni lukis sampai Skg. Dan dijual.ada juga memorabilia tokoh seniman lokal dan internasional disana.
Bagi anda yg tidak suka seni, tetap bisa dapat ilmu sejarahnya juga.
Dapat Minuman gratis di restoran lokal gedung.

A beautiful place With lots of old dusty art. The lady at reception took a dislike to me, as that was nice. It's 100000 idr to get in this is about £5 or 6$ sorry I don't kkiw Australian dollar conversion.
Do I like this gallery. Not really the place is beautiful and some of the interieas have an almost palladian feel.
But the art is more old, unloved and badly lit than a proud representation of balanese culture.
You wanna see do outstanding bonkers brilliant art, go to the Blanco museum up the road. There the Dali of Bali plays with western and Asian influence and the creative framing is just inspirering.
Fantastic collection in a beautiful garden setting and included in the ticket price is a meal and drink. Really not to be missed.
It consisted of 4 buildings if in not mistaken and there were current art pieces and really old falling apart ones. For the paintings that refer to cultural lores or myths the description of the art explained briefly the back stories. Enjoyable overall experience.
Very nice museum, you can learn a lot by reading the story's and titles of the images. And Also the garden is quite beautiful. Unfortunately we didn't have a guide and had no one to interview in case, think that would have make it even better.
Well worth the visit, even though museum itself isn't very special (don't get me wrong some art presented there is spectacular), it's the place if you want to take a break from chaotic Ubud streets and see a magnificent garden. And you get a complimentary drink and a cake!
If youre a balinese you dont have to pay.this place is important to balinese arts particullary paintings which allot of indonesians dosent know and care
It doesn't meet our expectation of a painting gallery, i hope there is more painting with different style there
Nice and very interesting the museum of bali indonesia.the people are good.i meet the nice student kids and we take a picture together.the place is clean.lots of very good and interesting history in the museum. The one thing i noticed is the tour guide asking 200k rupiah for accompanying you
