Munduk Wilderness / Buggy and Land Rover with the Bali's real nature

Too expensive for what it is. Walk in nature was strange, no added value. Canoe ride was ok but as well a bit strange as we just canoed in circle. Buggy experience was fun but dangerous if your buggy (the steering) is broken and if you don’t have experience driving. I think you need to have guides who explain and tell you more about Balinese traditions, different places, plants.

Great experience! Various activities! We're not bored! Authentic homemade meal of high quality, super fresh and very fine. Nice site with infinity pool at the top of the mountain with panoramic views!
For the buggy provide clothes resistant to dust and spare! Shower on site very nice and clean. Our guide was wonderful and multilingual (English, French, Arabic and Japanese)! Great!

We experienced the Luwak track combining buggy, canoe and trek in the forrest. The bad news started early - as our guide couldn’t actually speak English (!) - he was young and nice but unfortunately couldn’t explain anything along the trip: no history, no context on things, nor anything about the lake or Forrest track. It felt like a nice wonder in nature but no value add from a walk in a park. Personally, for the price ($230 for 2) of the trip I didn’t feel like the value was anywhere there. Moreover, the buggy activity is dangerous with mechanics highly hazardous on some of them with faulty direction/ acceleration in rural roads. There is a track where we can race, which was fun, but again highly dangerous where buggy’s are left unattended in the middle of turns.

I would have loved much more added value by learning the ins and outs about midi is beautiful environment and simply didn’t get that. The price paid is highly overrated for the experience we got.

Amazing tour! Komang was a great host. Made us feel super safe and so friendly. A genuinely great guy who was so happy to explain all about the Balinese traditions whilst also ensuring we had a great time. An amazing, must do Munduk activity!

My daughter and I came the other day. What truly incredible adrenaline fueled adventure. We had so much fun. Our guide, Komang was like a best friend, he took great photos for us. The lunch was great. They even let my 11 daughter ride a buggy. Honestly fantastic. Don't Miss this when you're in the area. Thank you all.

I an been living in Bali for ten years now and never experienced such a dangerous activity with such a disastrous management.
I negociated the price from 1million to 750k and still felt like a rip off.
The buggies aren’t well maintained nor checked prior to the guests using them. The engine is barely functioning and is way slower than the worst 50cc motorbike, the buggies can’t get up hill with two people inside.

The security harnesses are almost all broken and unusable, and there is no proper training or explanation on how to drive the buggy.

After 20 min only at the pace of an old tractor, our buggy started smoking heavily and just stopped. Then we had a second one with uncontrollable direction and we ended up in a ditch with a wheel detached from our vehicle!
So we ended up with a third one that was in a better condition than the two first ones.
I texted the manager during the day saying that considering the poor quality of their equipment the price wasn’t justified at all, and he asked us to finish the tour and that we could discuss a partial refund when we are back.

At the end of the tour our guide, that was by the way super lovely and helpful, had to give us his buggy so we could be one per vehicle to be able to go back up hill to the basecamp, he had to jump on the bike of a friend.
It was my first time driving the buggy and the vehicle was uncontrollable with the direction constantly pulling to the left, i almost ended up falling from the cliff twice.

When we got back the manager who was very sweet and kind before started to be agressive and rude, and said that if we wanted to have a refund we should have came back before (he basically texted me the entire opposite during the day). And then he said since we all came back alive and safe the activity was not dangerous and that there will be no commercial gesture.

For the same price you get a brand new and powerful buggy in most of places, what they do there is a tourist rip off.

Great experience. I chose to see the lake instead of the waterfall and glad I did. It was so peaceful sitting in the wooden canoe. Drove a buggy for 3 hours across the curvy roads of mundook and the mud track. 2 complementary meals, one in the coffee farm and the other in a high class restaurant. Ali the Guide was extremely knowledgeable during the jungle walk. Pickup driver was reliable on pickup and drop-off.

Absolutely loved the experience. They nailed my ATV buggy tour, trek and the canoeing experience. But, what I loved the most and you would too is the hospitality. Everyone I talked to or even met in passing had a vibrant smile running across the face.
My tour guide Jonny was such a sweet person. I was on a solo trip, but I never felt like it with his company entire time.
Iwan, my travel guide, explained me more about Bali culture, traditions and life than I ever learnt in all the past visits.
Now about the actual tour, the place is gorgeous. I wish I stayed over in the villas they have at the location cos they looked amazing.
My ATV buggy tour along with the canoeing in Lake Tamblingan lasted for hours and it was a unique experience through and through.
I definitely recommend a visit to this place.

Incredible experience. Truly the best way to explore the Munduk area and the sprawling mountain ranges and valleys. Insanely gorgeous views with a complementary tea on arrival and a lovely shower after having a bit of buggy fun in the mud. Super grateful for such an awesome experience!

Brilliant experience and Jonny, our guide, could not have been more charming, engaging, interesting and fun. The ATV track was a blast, driving through the countryside and villages with the scent of the cloves drying by the roadside was magical and the waterfall was stunning. If you only have one day near Munduk, or are thinking of coming to Munduk, do this tour - you’ll love it!

We did it with one other family, end of 2020. We have a 4 y.o with us who enjoys it too. So much fun! The stops is vary you wouldn't get bored.staff was very polite and fun too.

This is suitable for peoples who love adventures. Munduk village is cold area with very nice view specialty in the morning. Trip with Wilderness will give you good experience to know more about Bali. Not only the dances, restaurant, hotels, cruises but trekking and combine with some activities also will give you sweet memory.

What an amazing fun filled day. The guides understand and can speak English, are helpful, courteous and fun. The waterfall is breaktaking and the facilities back at the base camp are fantastic. Really a value for money day and awesome for couples. Well done to the Munduk team

If you want to experience Bali via the unbeaten track, this is the place to be. It's a great tour through the mountains of Bali and not full of tourist's. You truly feel like you're on a Wild Adventure

My boyfriend and I booked this not knowing what to expect but we were blown away. A driver picked us up from our villa and drove us to this beautiful hotel in the mountains. Along the way he stopped at some spots so we could take pictures. Upon arrival we were greeted by Johni who could not be more welcome. We had a cup of lemongrass tea before dune buggying in a great spot to our next place. We had a lovely light lunch were Johni answered all of our questions and shared tidbits regarding Balinese culture. We then got to drive an automatic dune buggy around a course my boyfriend and I enjoyed racing each other. We then drove to the rice fields. Where Johni took us on an informational and beautiful tour. We then headed to a majestic waterfall where we had the opportunity to swim. Johni as so accommodating and took so many pictures for us. We then headed back to the hotel for a shower and tasty supper. Before our driver took us back to villa. All in all an awesome experience. They took care of everything and we couldn’t have felt better served. Want to book each of his adventures now!

Quite Far from town, really nice view. Place is very cozy. I had oxtail soup and it was Amazing. Price was okay.
