Moyo tours & transport

I can only recommend Moyo transports. We used them twice: from Denpasar Airport to Amed and back. Everything was smooth, under schedule and properly organised. On our second trip, we had Gobang driving us and we had a great time: he showed some good spots, taught us some words in Bahasa and was very friendly. I will definitely use Moyo transports again if we return to Bali.

Based off a reddit recommendation, I contacted Moyo to arrange a drive from Kuta to Amed for me. Everything went down perfectly and exceeded expectations! Rapid response on whatsapp, affordable (600k IDR) and the trip was arranged within a few minutes. Big nice car, A/C and free water.
Gobang Pasek was my driver and he is so awesome. Incredibly nice, on time, driving 10/10, we chatted and he helped me learn Indonesian! The 3h trip honestly flew by! I already consider him a friend and I would book him for any trip.

I booked Moyo Transport again on my visit to Bali (23 – 28 Aug 2022). Moyo, the boss, picked me up at airport. After getting a Telcomsel post paid sim card 18 G (Rupiah 150,000) at the same shop that Moyo brought me there on my last visit in April, I checked in Sun Island Hotel & Spa at Kuta. Dinner was at Warung Ipang, good food and very reasonable price, not crowded and food was served quite promptly. The set of grilled chicken drumstick with spiced rice and local sambal + a refreshing Daluman leaf jelly drink (local Bali people use it as herb) cost only 48K rupiah (about SGD 4.50)

Next morning headed to Sanur to board the fast boat to Nusa Peninda. Set off at 7: 30am and reached the drop off on the beach at about 8: 15am. Moyo transport arranged the trip for me for USD 110 (hotel pickup, fast boat, sight seeing, lunch and return to hotel)

First was to the beaches on the East side of island, took about an hours drive (winding and small tarmac road over a few hills). After lunch, the local friendly driver, I forgot his name, took us to beaches on West side. We took some great photos. Weather was sunny and windy.

My opinion is Nusa Peninda was great for taking photo of great ocean and beach views. Unless you have time and willing to climb, getting down to the beach would take about 30 minutes on fairly steep steps and up again 30 minutes. Overall money well spent and good experience and great scenery at Nusa Peninda.

I booked Moyo transport for the 4 days duirng my stay in Bali. Moyo would take you to any destinations on Bali main island and willingly listen to your suggestion of good food and places that you have not visited. Among the good food places my recommendations are Warung Ipang (at Legian, 15 minutes from Kuta. Indonesian cuisine), Nook (at Keborokan, 30 minutes from Kuta, western and Indonesian cuisine and fronting a padi field) and Bamboo Bar & Grill (in Kuta, opposite Discovery Shopping Mall, western cuisine and a few Bali cuisine, great selection of wine, beer and alcohol)

I highly recommend to visitor to Bali to use Moyo Bali Tours & Transport for getting around and visiting tourist attractions and off the normal tourist belt area for good food and sightseeing. It is more convenient, safe and time saving than using private hired car transport like Grab and GoCar because you need to wait for the car and at some far away places you may not get Grab and GoCar. And Moyo is a safe driver and his new Toyota car can fit 4 adults comfortably. He has 2 cars meaning he can cater for group of 8 passengers for any day trip. The other car will be driven by his associate. For my trip, I paid USD 50/day trip (pickup at and return to hotel at your preferred time, whole day sightseeing to locations you choose or recommendation by Moyo, exludes meal cost and entrance fees to tourist attraction)

I came to Bali for diving and tour of Bali island. Moyo, the boss of Moyo Bali Tour and transport waited for me at airport arrival on 12th April 2022 and sent me to Amnaya Resort Hotel, about 15min drive from airport.
On the way we spoke about what places worth visiting, Moyo was very knowledable about good places for food, entertainment and sight seeing.
I decided to book Moyo transport for 4 full days to take me around. The cost was very cheap compared to countries like Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
Overall I must say I am very happy of Moyo transport serviced and warm and friendly reception.

I would like to add that a surprise find of organically grown Bali coffee powder made in Buleleng village by owner Putu. His family has been growing the Bali coffee and even has exported to Japan. This means it is of high quality coffee when it is accepted by Japanese market.

Great service. Better than the bluebird taxis. Hire for sightseeing, half or full day. Ask for driver Bagong. Very nice & informative guy.

Contacted Moyo via WhatsApp a few days before arriving in Bali and quicky was able to arrange airport pickup. Good communication from Moyo.

When arriving at the airport our driver was waiting for us. Did some sightseeing on the way to Amed.

Booked again with Moyo for transfer from Amed to Ubud. Visited Besakih temple, Batur lake and Bali Pulina on the way. Kadek Jaffa was a very good driver and we received lots of valuable information from him.

I chose to go with Moyo for all my transportation needs in Bali based on all the great reviews. Moyo lived up to all my expectations and went beyond. Moyo was very quick to respond to all my queries over WhatsApp. The prices were cheaper than all the others that I had checked out. The cars are very well maintained and all passengers are welcomed with a bottle of cold water for every trip. For most of our rides we had Gade Daffa drive us around - excellent & very safe driver with a very cheerful disposition & very well informed. My 86 yrs old mother was travelling with us and Gade was super attentive & respectful towards her. He tried to understand what we wanted and guided us accordingly. The drivers always arrived at least half an hour before the scheduled time and never rushed us or pushed us to visit any place. I would highly recommend Moyo tours & transport to every one!

I used Moyo to organise 5 transfers in the island and 2 days of visit. Due to the amount of transfers, I was able to get a significant discount for the overall.
Everything was setup only 5 days prior to arrival and all went smoothly! We got picked up at the airport and transferred from Candidasa to Amed, then Menjangan and finally Changgu and back at airport. Drivers were mostly nice (the one in Changgu could be better) but always on time. Waited for us to have lunch during long transfers!
The only thing that could improved is the visiting day, the drivers could be more active and proposing things to see and do rather than being passive
For the service you get and the price you pay, this is definitely the best transportation service you can get in out there.

Moyo is a great driver! Found him on TripAdvisor’s forum, no regrets! He knows everything about the culture and tells really great stories about his life and life of the island. He responds on what’s app so there is no even need to call him.

Kedak was a very good driver and he explained well for all the attractions and the safety instructions. He was early all the times. He stopped for getting SIM card and dinner. Very trustful transport and the fees also is decent almost comparable to other transports.

Best way to travel around Bali! We did three trips with Moyo (Ubud-Tulamben, half day tour around Tulamben, and Tulamben-Sanur), and enjoyed it a lot. He is always on time, drives calmly and safely, has a good baby seat, his car is always very clean, water is included, very competitive prices, always very quick to reply on WhatsApp, really flexible with changes of plans. But he is also extremely friendly, easy-going and knowledgeable, so you can learn a lot about Balinese culture and language from him. Thank you Moyo! We will miss you:)

Moyo was recommended by our dive shop to get us up and down the coast for a short trip up to Tulamben. Organisation couldn’t have been easier. Moyo was super responsive over WhatsApp and catered to our changing schedule. We arrived from by boat from Lembongan in Padangbai and our driver was right there with my name on a sign. On the way to Tulamben he very kindly told us about possible sightseeing places we might want to stop and check out. No pressure at all, the decision was in our hands. We took him up on a Luwak coffee tasting and some roadside bakso soup with a view of rice fields. Not wanting to stop for lunch at a tourist restaurant, our driver found us his favourite food, Babi guling (skewered pig), at a roadside warung, where we treated him to a plate as well. Arriving in good time to Tulamben we were able to fit in an extra dive before our scheduled night dive. I asked for the same driver again for our next day’s trip down to Sanur and then changed the pickup time twice, as late as the morning of, with no problem at all. Comfy car with cold water provided. Excellent driving. Highly recommended for getting to and from Tulamben. Thanks Moyo!
