Mount batur trekking guide information

The organization of the trip is great! They walked at a calm pace. The guide was always nearby, watching over us. Definitely recommend!

It was a breathtaking view. The sunset bathed the sky in a spectacular play of colors. The mountains stretched majestically before me and the air was clear and refreshing. I couldn't help but take a deep breath and enjoy the moment. It was a place where you could just feel happy. Wayan is very nice and he was happy to explain the history of the place to me. His enthusiasm was contagious and I hung on his every word. We spent hours exploring the area and I couldn't get enough of all the beauty this place had to offer. It was an unforgettable experience and I am grateful that I had the opportunity to enjoy this magical view.

Wayan was an excellent guide, with fantastic photography skills. He made us a beautiful breakfast when we got to the top, assured we got a good spot for the sunrise and was very informative throughout the hike. He was very conscientious, didn’t rush us and made sure we didn’t miss a thing.

We had the chance to climb Mount Batur accompanied by our guide Wayan. It was a great time, with ideal weather and a caring guide: great spot, breakfast, photos and discussions!

I got in touch with Wayan on WhatsApp and booked the trail / pick-up through there, too. Super easy!
I got picked up in Ubud - 1.5hrs drive to the starting point - where Wayan waited. He provided a walking stick/ hiking pole + water + headlights.
The hike up is in total darkness & quiet steep with lots of others on the trail. On top Wayan found the best seat for me & prepared breakfast. He is very kind, caring & considerate.
After sunrise we explored the mountain a bit more & took photos before we went back down. The view from the top is beautiful. I would definitely recommend reaching out to Wayan and do this with him.

Amazing experience, absolutely worth the trekking and lovely tour guide! Wayan picked us up from our accomodation and did a great job leading us up to the top of Mount Batur, where he even prepared breakfast for us while we’re watching the sunrise!

I recommend Wayan for climbing Mount Batur. He is very nice and even has some knowledge of French. For those who like photos, he is a very good photographer In addition, he has a place to sit and observe the sunrise properly

Everything was perfect! Wayan took us up to the volcano while there was no crowd yet we were the first ones on the mountain and it felt amazing! He always asked if we need help or break, he speaks English very good! If you need a guide who takes the best instagrammable pictures and videos this is your guide!:)
